O Manifesto dos Educadores (1959) à luz da história Educators' manifesto (1959) in the light of history

Este texto objetiva apresentar uma leitura histórica do documento intitulado Manifesto dos Educadores - 1959, sob a ótica de um contexto tomado como síntese de tensões e com um potencial qualitativo de superação das contradições do então denominado modelo nacional-desenvolvimentista, com base na industrialização, referente ao período de 1930 a 1964. A maior incidência da análise recai sobre os anos de 1950. Espera-se, como resultado, ter alcançado um melhor discernimento histórico do processo de mudança ou do movimento estrutural vivido pela sociedade brasileira no período, de forma a explicitar os diferentes projetos educacionais e sociais que lá estavam em conflito.<br>The main objective of this text is to present a historical reading of the document entitled Educators' Manifesto (1959) under a context taken as a synthesis of tensions and with a qualitative potential to overcome the contradictions of the so called national-development model, based on industrialization, adopted between 1930 and 1964. This analysis mainly stresses the 1950s. As a result, we expect to have achieved a better historical understanding of the process of change or of the structural movement lived by the Brazilian society in that period, in order to clarify the different educational and social projects that were then in conflict

O presente artigo é o resultado de um pensamento filosófico acerca do ensino de filosofia. O principal objetivo de nossa pesquisa foi entender o que faz o filósofo quando seu ofício é ser professor de filosofia. Para tal, utilizamos como referencial teórico-metodológico o pensamento de Foucault para pensar o filósofo-professor de filosofia em seu lócus - ensino de filosofia - enquanto uma ontologia do presente, e o pensamento de Deleuze e Guattari para indicar uma possível maneira de entender esse ofício de professor que acreditamos se dar em um fazer artístico, filosófico e científico.<br>This paper is the result of a philosophical thinking about philosophy teaching. The main goal of our research was to understand what philosophers do when their occupation is to teach philosophy. To do so, we used Foucault's thoughts as a theoretic-methodological framework to think the philosophers-teachers of philosophy in their locus - philosophy teaching - as an ontology of the present, and Deleuze and Guattari's thoughts to point out a possible way to understand this teacher's occupation, which, we believe, happens in an artistic, philosophical and scientific manner

Formação operária: arte de ligar política e cultura Worker's education: the art of joining art and culture

Este artigo constitui uma tentativa de resgate e reconstrução das propostas e iniciativas de formação sindical e/ou operária promovidas por diferentes entidades de trabalhadores. Neste sentido, desenvolve um balanço histórico que busca mostrar que as práticas de formação não representam uma novidade, fazendo parte da história dos trabalhadores e de suas organizações. O texto é orientado numa perspectiva de análise que procura realçar a importância das atividades de formação na experiência do movimento operário nos séculos passados e no momento atual.<br>This article constitutes an attempt to redeem and reconstruct the proposals and initiatives of trade union worker's and/or worker's training promoted by different worker's organizations. In this way it develops a historical oscillation that wants to show that the practices on formation do not represent a novelty, but are part of the workers history and their organizations. The text is oriented in an analytical perspective whose aim is to highlight the importance of the educational activities based on the worker's experience during the movement of the past centuries and at the current moment
