ESR study of the spin ladder with uniform Dzyaloshinskii-Moria interaction
Evolution of the ESR absorption in a strong-leg spin ladder magnet
(CHN)CuBr (abbreviated as DIMPY) is studied from 300K to
400mK. Temperature dependence of the ESR relaxation follows a staircase of
crossovers between different relaxation regimes. We ague that the main
mechanism of ESR line broadening in DIMPY is uniform Dzyaloshinskii-Moria
interaction (K) with an effective longitudinal component along
an exchange bond of Cu ions within the legs resulting from the low crystal
symmetry of DIMPY and nontrivial orbital ordering. The same
Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction results in the lifting of the triplet
excitation degeneracy, revealed through the weak splitting of the ESR
absorption at low temperatures.Comment: 13 pages, submitted to PRB, Fig.3 update
Photo- and electroluminescence of new organic semiconductors
The results of investigation of the luminescence under photo- and electroexcitation for four new compounds are presented. The spectral properties and photoluminescence are studied in ethanol, chloroform solutions and in films formed by thermovacuum deposition (TVD). The phosphorescence of compounds is investigated in ethanol at 77K temperature. The phosphorescence times of molecules are given. The electroluminescence is obtained in multilayered structure ITO/PEDOT/NPD/L /Ca/Al. It is shown, that spectral region of the photoluminescence of TVD films and electroluminescence coincide. Relations of electroluminescence efficiency with molecule structure, photoluminescence quantum yield and possibility of thermally activated delayed fluorescence are discussed
To the question of improving the outcomes of surgical treatment of genital prolapse in postmenopausal women
Currently, the frequency of genital prolapse in the structure of common gynecological diseases has no tendency to decrease and may take up to 15% of large gynecological operations. With the aim of improving outcomes of surgical treatment of this category of patients, at the stage of preoperative preparation and the postoperative period used vaginal capsules containing Lactobacillus + progesterone 2 mg + estriol 0.2 mg (Triozhinal). The study included 239 patients in postmenopausal women with genital prolapse and phenomena cystourethroscopy and vaginal atrophy. Of these, the main group consisted of 122 women who underwent the proposed scheme of preoperative preparation and postoperative period. Group comparisons were presented 117 patients admitted to the gynecological Department for surgical treatment of prolapse with traditional preoperative and postoperative management. The results of the study showed that in the group of patients receiving local therapy estriola in combination with progesterone and lactobacilli, was observed a significant improvement of the clinical picture of urinary disorders, quality of life, symptoms of urogenital atrophy during surgical correction of urinary incontinence or genital prolapse, and this tactic can be recommended as in the pre-and postoperative periods.
Correction of pathological conditions of the mucous membranes of the upper respiratory tract with seawater medicines
ENT specialists are increasingly concerned about high incidence of the mucous membrane disorders in the upper respiratory tract. To paraphrase a well-known expression, it can be argued that there are no patients with completely healthy noses and sips, but there are patients who have not yet got tired of constant tickling in the throat, mucus discharge, nasal congestion and other symptoms
Therapeutic and prevention potential of seawater medicines
The mucous membrane of the nasal cavity is the opening part of the respiratory tract which has a number of functions among which protection is the most important. Once in the nasal cavity, the inhaled air is mechanically cleaned of dust pollutants, humidified and warmed. About 10 thousand litres of air pass through the nose during a day. The nasal mucosa also hinders penetration of pathogens (bacteria, fungi, viruses) into the lungs
Pharyngomycosis. Diagnostics, prevention and treatment
The prevalence of pharyngomycosis was analysed on the basis of research data and own observation of 2,987 patients seeking assistance in the consulting unit of the Centre over the period from 2008 till 2011. The study concluded that the proportion of fungal infections of ENT organs in the total variety of chronic inflammatory disease increased to 29% for fungal infections of the throat in pharyngitis, and to 17.2% in chronic tonsillitis. The pathogens of fungal infections of the throat were defined and analyzed. The study found that the involvement of Candida non albicans strains in the development of chronic inflammation has increased. The proportion of cases of aspergillus infection of the mucous membranes of the pharynx, larynx, and tonsils was identified. Sophisticated diagnosis and treatment schemes were suggested
Management of the Process of Formation and Realization of Competitive Advantages of the Visegrad Four Countries in the European Market of ICT Services
Purpose – to assess the integration and management of the formation and implementation of the competitive advantages of the Visegrad Four countries in the European market of information, computer, telecommunication (ICT) services based on their analysis in the individual market segments.
Design/Method/Research approach - this study aims to determine the presence and nature of the competitive advantages of countries in the European ICT services market based on the calculation of export specialization indicators, to establish factors for their growth and effective implementation based on the results of structural, regressive, comparative analysis and synthesis.
Findings. It has been suggested that the introduction of the European rules for market organization stimulated the building-up in the Visegrad Four countries of their competitive advantages in the European ICT services market through innovative investment resources, effective management of private, public sector and International investors and personnel.
Practical implications. The accession of Eastern European countries to the European digital market and digital space requires a generalization of the experience of the Visegrad four countries and the identification of factors, directions and priorities of the national policy for the development of the ICT sector.
Originality/Value. Scientific novelty of the study - based on the calculation of the comparative advantage index, different integration and effectiveness of managing the competitive advantages of the Visegrad Four countries, primarily the sphere of IC services to the European market (relatively high - in the Czech Republic due to state financing, moderate – in Poland due to financial support from the state, in Slovakia due to private investment in R&D, low – in Hungary), this situation requires a balanced innovation and investment strategy of the countries in the future, the training of a sufficient number of qualified IT specialists, stimulation of private investment in R&D and business cooperation with the sphere of knowledge by means of tax and administrative incentives, facilitating the transition of small and medium-sized businesses on the principles of economics 4.0.
Paper type – empirical
Treatment of inflammatory diseases of the throat
Inflammatory diseases of the upper respiratory tract are very widespread. There is a brief description and guidelines for the treatment of various forms of laryngitis. Inhalation antibiotic therapy is an effective method of local anti-inflammatory therapy in the comprehensive treatment of inflammatory diseases of the larynx
