    A manufacturing factory that produce travel bags focused on export market with increasing demand, need to improve the product quantity to fulfil the production target. Initial survey found out that the factory cannot meet the target. This situation was caused by some factors, as: lack of machines and ineficiency of the factory location order. This paper includes analysis of factory location order using Travel Chart method which is performed manually and using QS software to get more accurate results. The objective is to minimize material handling so that realization of the production target determined can be optimized. By adding 1 (one) machine for hot forming, the production quantity can be increased and the new facility location order showed reduction of sum of momen from 949459 to 775494.

    Relationship between Knowledge and Family Support Regarding Hypertension with Blood Pressure Control in Elders

    Background: Hypertension is one of the degenerative diseases that have frequently been found among the group of elders. If hypertension goes uncontrolled, then it might escalate and cause complication. The level of knowledge for both of patients and their families in terms of preventive actions toward hypertension complication is expected to be able to control blood pressure. Among the hypertension patients, the role of family support is very important in order to maintain and to control that the blood pressure will not increase and to return it to the normal state. In relation to this background, the objective in conducting this study was to analyze the relationship between knowledge and family support regarding hypertension with blood pressure control among the elders with hypertension in the Sangkrah Center of Public Health, City of Surakarta. Subjects and Method: This was an analytic observational study with cross sectional design. This study was conducted in Sangkrah Community Health Center in the City of Surakarta on November 2016. A total sample of 147 elders were selected for this study by purposive sampling. The dependent variable in this study was blood pressure and was measured by sphygnomanometer. The independent variables were knowledge and family support and were collected by a set of questionnaire. The data analyzed by logistic regression. Results: Family knowledge (OR= 0.38; 95% CI= 0.13 to 1.08; p= 0.070) increased the likelihood of blood pressure control. Elders who came from family with good knowledge regarding hypertension had 0.4 times better blood pressure control in comparison to those who came from family with poor knowledge regarding hypertension. Family support (OR= 0.43; 95% CI= 0.18 to 1.02; p= 0.046) increased the likelihood of blood pressure control. Elders with good family support had 0.4 times better blood pressure than those who had poor family support. Conclusion: Family knowledge and family support increase the probability of blood pressure control among elders with hypertension. Keywords: knowledge, family support, blood pressure control, elder

Pendekatan pembelajaran adalah cara umum dalam memandang pembelajaran. Sedangkan strategi pembelajaran adalah ilmu dan kiat di dalam memanfaatkan segala sumber belajar yang dimiliki dan/atau yang dapat dikerahkan untuk mencapai tujuan pembelajaran yang telah ditetapkan. Metode mengajar adalah berbagai cara kerja yang bersifat relatif umum yang sesuai untuk mencapai tujuan pembelajaran tertentu dan teknik pembelajaran adalah ragam khas penerapan suatu metode sesuai dengan latar penerapan tertentu. Teknik pembelajaran mengambarkan langkah-langkah penggunaan metode mengajar yang sifatnya lebih operasional.     Compensation is everything that will be received by a person as remuneration for the work she/he has done, either directly or indirectly. Assessment of labor productivity is almost always automatically associated with the rules and regulations of individual salary increases and bonus distribution. Result of the analysis indicates work environment played a very important role for the improvement of labor productivity with r2 = 0.933 (93.3%), and t 8.158 and t table 0.30. Result of the hypothesis testing of the effect of compensation onemployee and lecturer productivity (r2=0.933 or 93.3 % with t 3.729 and t table of 0.30) means compensation had a very strong influence. Result of the hypothesis testing of the effect of competence on employee and lecturerproductivity shows r2= 0.933 or by 93.3%, with t 4.014 and t table 0.30. Result of the analysis shows the correlation between work environment and labor productivity is equal to 0.769, means it had a fairly high correlation. The correlation between compensation and labor productivity by 0.482 is moderate. The correlation between competence and labor productivity by 0509 is moderate. The determination determination is equal to 0.933 means that employee and lecturer productivity was influenced by work environment, compensation, and competency in the amount of 0.933 (93.3%); while the 6.7% remaining was influenced by other variables outside the research. The regression function resulted from the analysis is Y = -0.026 + 0.548 X1 + 0.260 X2 + 0.281 X3

    Sumberbrantas is an Agroindustrial village in Malang, East java, with the main commodities are potatoes. One of the farmer groups engaged in potatoes agricultural sector is Anjasmoro farmer groups III. This farmer groups special program is perform independently potato seeding in the greenhouse. But, this process is not optimal because of less lighting so the potatoes seed produced susceptible to disease and has a small size. Therefore, we innovate to apply LUMOS technology. LUMOS is an automatic lighting system based on photoperiodic. The purpose of this program is to determine a method of designing, manufacturing, Lumos application influences and effective way of socialization. Lumos has a size of 25m × 5m. there are 4 18 watt lights, there are control Box size 15cm × 21cm × 5cm, and can be used for 5 years. Making Lumos begins with assembly hardware, sensor calibration and software development. The results showed that potatoes produced has a diameter of 8.128 mm and a mass of 31.3 grams greater than before. This technology is able to produce potatoes seed up to 7,000 seeds/period and profit reached Rp 20,169,000.00 annually. It is expected that this technology into a technology demonstration for other potato farmers in Indonesia

    Zinc whisker growth from electroplated finishes – a review

    Electroplated zinc finishes have been associated with the electronics industry for many years as a result of their excellent corrosion resistance and relatively low cost. They are normally applied onto ferrous products to provide corrosion protection in a range of different environments. However, the formation of spontaneously grown whiskers on zinc-electroplated components, which are capable of resulting in electrical shorting or other damaging effects, can be highly problematic for the reliability of long life electrical and electronic equipment. The growth of zinc whiskers has been identified as the cause of some electrical and electronic failures in telecommunications and aerospace-based applications, with consequences ranging from mild inconvenience to complete system failures. Investigators have been striving to address the problems induced by whisker growth since 1940s. However, most research effort has been focused on tin whiskers, especially following European Union environmental legislation that restricted the use of lead (Pb), which when alloyed with tin (3–10% by weight) provided effective tin whisker mitigation. Compared with tin whisker research, much less attention has been paid to zinc whiskers. A number of mechanisms to explain zinc whisker growth have been proposed, but none of them are widely accepted and some are in conflict with each other. The aim of this paper is to review the available literature in regard to zinc whiskers, to discuss the reported growth mechanisms, to evaluate the effect of deposition parameters and to explore potential mitigation methods. This paper presents a chronologically ordered review of zinc whisker-related studies from 1946 to 2013.     Investigation of whisker growth from alkaline non-cyanide zinc electrodeposits

    Electroplated zinc finishes have been widely used in the packaging of electronic products for many years as a result of their excellent corrosion resistance and relatively low cost. However, the spontaneous formation of whiskers on zinc electroplated components, which are capable of resulting in electrical shorting or other damaging effects, can be highly problematic for the reliability of long-life electrical and electronic equipment. This work investigated the mechanism for whisker growth from zinc electrodeposited mild steel substrates. The incubation time for whisker growth from the surface of nodules on the surface of the electrodeposit was considerably reduced compared with that from the planar deposit surface. Recrystallisation of the as-deposited columnar structure was observed at the whisker root. This result is consistent with some recent whisker growth models based on recrystallisation. There was no evidence of iron-zinc (Fe-Zn) intermetallic formation at the iron/zinc (Fe/Zn) interface or within the zinc coating beneath the whiskers
