Development of c-means Clustering Based Adaptive Fuzzy Controller for A Flapping Wing Micro Air Vehicle
Advanced and accurate modelling of a Flapping Wing Micro Air Vehicle (FW MAV)
and its control is one of the recent research topics related to the field of
autonomous Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs). In this work, a four wing
Natureinspired (NI) FW MAV is modeled and controlled inspiring by its advanced
features like quick flight, vertical take-off and landing, hovering, and fast
turn, and enhanced manoeuvrability when contrasted with comparable-sized fixed
and rotary wing UAVs. The Fuzzy C-Means (FCM) clustering algorithm is utilized
to demonstrate the NIFW MAV model, which has points of interest over first
principle based modelling since it does not depend on the system dynamics,
rather based on data and can incorporate various uncertainties like sensor
error. The same clustering strategy is used to develop an adaptive fuzzy
controller. The controller is then utilized to control the altitude of the NIFW
MAV, that can adapt with environmental disturbances by tuning the antecedent
and consequent parameters of the fuzzy system.Comment: this paper is currently under review in Journal of Artificial

Tanggung Jawab Negen Sanan Tua Sebagai Kewajiban Sosial Masyarakat Adat Menurut Awig-awig Desa Pakraman (Studi Desa Pakraman Tegalcangkring Kabupaten Jembrana Provinsi Bali)
The duties that followed with responsibility for negen sanan tua in Pakraman Tegalcangkring Village are usually incurred by every son of the family. The duties include (1) the duty for ancestor and (2) the social duty as indigenous community at Pakraman Village. In pursuance of the philosophy of Tri Hita Karana, the duties that followed with responsibility are the duty of negen sanan tua to the deceased father (passed away) and the duty for being customary citizen to represent the social duty of indigenous community. The objective of research is to describe, to analyze and to discover duties which are followed by responsibility for negen sanan tua as the social duty of indigenous community. This legal research is empirical law research. The approach is sociolinguistic to describe the behavior of indigenous community which signifies their life and the obedience of this community to the prevailed custom sanction subjected to the deviant indigenous citizen. Result of research indicates that custom rules (awig-awig) that prevails in Pakraman Tegalcangkring Village, as stated in Sarga III Pawos 7, has required every indigenous citizen (krama adat) to implement their social duties. These duties involve physical duty (ayah-ayahan) and pecuniary duty (uron-uron / peson-peson). Such duties represent a precondition for a status as indigenous citizen (krama adat). The rite of pengabenan (cremation) is conducted based on philosophical values that the deceased will return to the Creator (God All Mighty). This ceremony also manifests the reciprocal relationship across indigenous citizens (krama adat). The gathering can also help to produce a balancing life or a harmony. The deviator against these duties being as indigenous citizen (krama adat) will be subjected to the custom sanctions, either fine (pecuniary) or moral condemn, to enforce the curative effect for all indigenous citizens (krama adat) in Pakraman Tegalcangkring Village
PAC: A Novel Self-Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Controller for Micro Aerial Vehicles
There exists an increasing demand for a flexible and computationally
efficient controller for micro aerial vehicles (MAVs) due to a high degree of
environmental perturbations. In this work, an evolving neuro-fuzzy controller,
namely Parsimonious Controller (PAC) is proposed. It features fewer network
parameters than conventional approaches due to the absence of rule premise
parameters. PAC is built upon a recently developed evolving neuro-fuzzy system
known as parsimonious learning machine (PALM) and adopts new rule growing and
pruning modules derived from the approximation of bias and variance. These rule
adaptation methods have no reliance on user-defined thresholds, thereby
increasing the PAC's autonomy for real-time deployment. PAC adapts the
consequent parameters with the sliding mode control (SMC) theory in the
single-pass fashion. The boundedness and convergence of the closed-loop control
system's tracking error and the controller's consequent parameters are
confirmed by utilizing the LaSalle-Yoshizawa theorem. Lastly, the controller's
efficacy is evaluated by observing various trajectory tracking performance from
a bio-inspired flapping-wing micro aerial vehicle (BI-FWMAV) and a rotary wing
micro aerial vehicle called hexacopter. Furthermore, it is compared to three
distinctive controllers. Our PAC outperforms the linear PID controller and
feed-forward neural network (FFNN) based nonlinear adaptive controller.
Compared to its predecessor, G-controller, the tracking accuracy is comparable,
but the PAC incurs significantly fewer parameters to attain similar or better
performance than the G-controller.Comment: This paper has been accepted for publication in Information Science

Effect of Learning Style on Learning Outcomes with Mediator Variable Learning Motivation
The learning outcomes of the economic subjects of State High Schools in Cirebon City are still low; this indicates that students in following the learning process have not been able to achieve the competencies that have been set. The low average national examination and midterm exam scores on economic subjects show that the expected learning outcomes have not been achieved. The study aims to determine the effect of student learning styles on learning outcomes in economic subjects with learning motivation as mediator variables. The research method used is an explanatory survey using a questionnaire as a data collection tool. The population in this study were 1,036 students with a sample of 311 students using the stratified proportional random sampling technique. Data analysis techniques use path analysis. The results of the study showed that (1) Learning style had an effect on learning motivation; (2) Learning styles affect learning outcomes; (3) Learning styles affect learning outcomes through learning motivation.
