Low-energy Scattering of (DDˉ)±(D^{*}\bar{D}^{*})^\pm System and the Resonance-like Structure Zc(4025)Z_c(4025)

In this paper, low-energy scattering of the (DDˉ)±(D^{*}\bar{D}^{*})^\pm meson system is studied within L\"uscher's finite-size formalism using Nf=2N_{f}=2 twisted mass gauge field configurations. With three different pion mass values, the ss-wave threshold scattering parameters, namely the scattering length a0a_0 and the effective range r0r_0, are extracted in JP=1+J^P=1^+ channel. Our results indicate that, in this particular channel, the interaction between the two vector charmed mesons is weakly repulsive in nature hence do not support the possibility of a shallow bound state for the two mesons, at least for the pion mass values being studied. This study provides some useful information on the nature of the newly discovered resonance-like structure Zc(4025)Z_c(4025) observed in various experiments.Comment: 11 pages, 6 figures. arXiv admin note: substantial text overlap with arXiv:1403.131

Exploration and Practice of Blended Teaching Model Based Flipped Classroom and SPOC in higher University

    Get PDF
SPOC is characterized by improving teaching effectiveness. Currently open teaching mode is the popular trend, which is mainly related to several aspects: how to carry out teaching practice by using MOOC proprietary, high-quality online teaching resources in open education, that is, deep integration of curriculum resources and teaching design. On the basis of SPOC development, combined with open education analysis of SPOC with instructional design theory and philosophy from flipped classroom as a guide, the present research try to propose instructional design model based on flipped classroom, including design of teaching content system, design of personalized learning strategies, design of teaching activities and teaching evaluation system. Four designs above contribute to the effective implementation of the open teaching activities based on the blended model of flipped classroom and SPOC teaching, so as to enhance the quality of education. ABSTRACT This paper is intended to introduce optimal geometrical parameter matching obtained by using water flow simulation on the box-type specimen and blasting tests on the sector-type specimen for the short dump-diffuser of an annular combustion chamber, sad some special problems occurring in practice, such as, the effects of the factors --the head of flame tube, inlet cap, inlet support strut, splitting flow cone, air drawn from the wall surface and inlet velocity profiles on diffuser performance and its flow status, the obtained results provide the foundation for its practical application

Surgical Incision Induces Anxiety-Like Behavior and Amygdala Sensitization: Effects of Morphine and Gabapentin

The role of affective dimension in the postoperative pain is still poorly understood. The present study investigated the development of anxiety-like behavior and amygdala sensitization in incisional pain. Using hind-paw incision model in rats, we showed that surgical incision induced the anxiety-like behavior as determined by elevated plus-maze and open-field tests. Intraperitoneal (IP) morphine administration reversed mechanical allodynia and anxiety-like behavior in a dose-dependent manner. Gabapentin also partially reduced incision-evoked mechanical allodynia and anxiety-like behavior in a dose-dependent manner. After incision, the expression of phosphorylated cAMP response elements (CRE-) binding protein (p-CREB) was transiently upregulated in the central and basolateral nuclei in the bilateral amygdala. The upregulation of p-CREB was inhibited by morphine and gabapentin. The present study suggested that surgical incision could induce anxiety and amygdala sensitization that can be inhibited by morphine and gabapentin. Thus treatment of surgery-induced affective disturbances by morphine and gabapentin may be a potential important adjunct therapy in the postoperative pain management

The prevalence of autism spectrum disorders in China: A comprehensive meta-analysis

    Get PDF
There are conflicting prevalence estimates of autism spectrum disorders (ASDs) in mainland China (China thereafter). This study is a comprehensive meta-analysis of the pooled prevalence of ASDs in the general population in China. Study investigators independently conducted a systematic literature search of the following databases: PubMed, EMBASE, PsycINFO, China National Knowledge Infrastructure, Chinese biomedical literature service system, and Wan Fang. Studies reporting prevalence of ASDs and autism in Chinese population were identified and analysed using the Comprehensive Meta-Analysis program with the random effects model. Forty-four studies were included in the meta-analysis comprising 2,337,321 subjects of whom 46.66 % were females. The mean age of subjects ranged from 1.6 to 8 years. Based on diagnostic criteria the pooled prevalence of ASDs was 39.23 per 10,000 (95% CI: 28.44-50.03 per 10,000, I2=89.2%); specifically, the prevalence of autism was 10.18 per 10,000 (95% CI: 8.46-11.89 per 10,000, I2=92.5%). Subgroup analyses revealed significant difference in the prevalence of ASDs between genders (72.77 per 10,000 in males vs. 16.45 per 10,000 in females). In conclusion, the prevalence of ASDs and autism in China was found generally lower than those reported in other countries. Further studies are needed to clarify the variation in prevalence
