HD 80606: Searching the chemical signature of planet formation
(Abridged) Binary systems with similar components are ideal laboratories
which allow several physical processes to be tested, such as the possible
chemical pattern imprinted by the planet formation process. Aims. We explore
the probable chemical signature of planet formation in the remarkable binary
system HD 80606 - HD 80607. The star HD 80606 hosts a giant planet with 4 MJup
detected by both transit and radial velocity techniques, being one of the most
eccentric planets detected to date. We study condensation temperature Tc trends
of volatile and refractory element abundances to determine whether there is a
depletion of refractories that could be related to the terrestrial planet
formation. Methods. We carried out a high-precision abundance determination in
both components of the binary system, using a line-by-line strictly
differential approach, using the Sun as a reference and then using HD 80606 as
reference. We used an updated version of the program FUNDPAR, together with
ATLAS9 model atmospheres and the MOOG code. Conclusions. From the study of Tc
trends, we concluded that the stars HD 80606 and HD 80607 do not seem to be
depleted in refractory elements, which is different for the case of the Sun.
Then, the terrestrial planet formation would have been less efficient in the
components of this binary system than in the Sun. The lack of a trend for
refractory elements with Tc between both stars implies that the presence of a
giant planet do not neccesarily imprint a chemical signature in their host
stars, similar to the recent result of Liu et al. (2014). This is also in
agreement with Melendez et al. (2009), who suggest that the presence of
close-in giant planets might prevent the formation of terrestrial planets.

A new Viola (Violaceae) from the Argentinian Andes
Viola beati, a hitherto unknown species of V. sect. Andinium (Violaceae) is described and illustrated. It is an inconspicuous, diminutive, perennial forb currently known from only one locality in NW Argentina. We draw attention to its morphology, ecology, rarity and endemism. Renormalized coordinate approach to the thermalization process
We consider a particle in the harmonic approximation coupled linearly to an
environment. modeled by an infinite set of harmonic oscillators. The system
(particle--environment) is considered in a cavity at thermal equilibrium. We
employ the recently introduced notion of renormalized coordinates to
investigate the time evolution of the particle occupation number. For
comparison we first present this study in bare coordinates. For a long ellapsed
time, in both approaches, the occupation number of the particle becomes
independent of its initial value. The value of ocupation number of the particle
is the physically expected one at the given temperature. So we have a Markovian
process, describing the particle thermalization with the environment. With
renormalized coordinates no renormalization procedure is required, leading

Signatures of rocky planet engulfment in HAT-P-4. Implications for chemical tagging studies
Aims. To explore the possible chemical signature of planet formation in the
binary system HAT-P-4, by studying abundance vs condensation temperature Tc
trends. The star HAT-P-4 hosts a planet detected by transits while its stellar
companion does not have any detected planet. We also study the Lithium content,
which could shed light on the problem of Li depletion in exoplanet host stars.
Conclusions. The exoplanet host star HAT-P-4 is found to be ~0.1 dex more metal
rich than its companion, which is one of the highest differences in metallicity
observed in similar systems. This could have important implications for
chemical tagging studies, disentangling groups of stars with a common origin.
We rule out a possible peculiar composition for each star as lambda Boo, delta
Scuti or a Blue Straggler. The star HAT-P-4 is enhanced in refractory elements
relative to volatile when compared to its stellar companion. Notably, the
Lithium abundance in HAT-P-4 is greater than in its companion by ~0.3 dex,
which is contrary to the model that explains the Lithium depletion by the
presence of planets. We propose a scenario where, at the time of planet
formation, the star HAT-P-4 locked the inner refractory material in
planetesimals and rocky planets, and formed the outer gas giant planet at a
greater distance. The refractories were then accreted onto the star, possibly
due to the migration of the giant planet. This explains the higher metallicity,
the higher Lithium content, and the negative Tc trend detected. A similar
scenario was recently proposed for the solar twin star HIP 68468, which is in
some aspects similar to HAT-P-4. We estimate a mass of at least Mrock ~ 10
Mearth locked in refractory material in order to reproduce the observed Tc

Magnetic, electronic and vibrational properties of metal and fluorinated metal phthalocyanines
The magnetic and electronic properties of metal phthalocyanines (MPc) and
fluorinated metal phthalocyanines (FMPc) are studied by means of spin
density functional theory (SDFT). Several metals (M) such as Ca, all first
d-row transition metals and Ag are investigated. By considering different open
shell transition metals it is possible to tune the electronic properties of
MPc, in particular the electronic molecular gap and total magnetic moment.
Besides assigning the structural and electronic properties of MPc and
FMPc, the vibrational modes analysis of the ScPc\textendash ZnPc series

Then You Fall Off : Youth Experiences and Responses to Transitioning to Homelessness
Introduction: This study aims to broaden our understanding of the experience of homelessness and unstable housing in youth. While quantitative research highlights risk factors associated with experiencing homelessness as a youth, little qualitative research has been conducted to explore the lived experience of this transition to homelessness or unstable housing and how youth respond to becoming homeless. This study utilizes data from youth descriptions of their experiences to understand the context of the transition to homelessness and how youth manage this transition.
Methods: A qualitative study with a quantitative component was conducted with a nonprobability sample of homeless youth aged 14-24 recruited from shelters, drop-in centers, and magnet events in a large urban area in the Southwest. Four qualitative researchers used content analysis to assess themes that emerged related to transitions to homelessness.
Results: A predominately minority (88%) sample of sheltered (67%) and unsheltered (33%) youth (n=64) described their experience of and responses to transitioning to homelessness. Three main themes emerged relating to transitioning to homelessness; family homelessness, histories of foster care, and non-supportive family processes. Youth described how these experiences manifested and influenced their transition into homelessness. In response to homelessness three dominant themes emerged; self-reliance, hope, and resilience.
Discussion: The data highlight the unique issues of homeless youth and how they respond to circumstantial challenges. While homeless youth experience lifetime adversities that lead to homelessness, they respond to these circumstantial challenges with self-reliance, hope, and maintaining resilience. Interventions aiming to facilitate health behaviors and improve self-sufficiency in homeless youth should tap into these positive responses to improve self-care strategies, service utilization, and help homeless youth reduce risk behaviors
Improvement and analysis of a pseudo random bit generator by means of cellular automata
In this paper, we implement a revised pseudo random bit generator based on a
rule-90 cellular automaton. For this purpose, we introduce a sequence matrix
H_N with the aim of calculating the pseudo random sequences of N bits employing
the algorithm related to the automaton backward evolution. In addition, a
multifractal structure of the matrix H_N is revealed and quantified according
to the multifractal formalism. The latter analysis could help to disentangle
what kind of automaton rule is used in the randomization process and therefore
it could be useful in cryptanalysis. Moreover, the conditions are found under
which this pseudo random generator passes all the statistical tests provided by
