Tinjauan Penerapan Sistem Manajemen Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (SMK3) (Studi Kasus: Pembangunan Gedung Living World Pekanbaru)
Pekanbaru is the capital city of the Riau province where it\u27s heading to metropolis, so development both hospitals, hotels and shopping malls city are growth rapidly. The construction of the Living World Pekanbaru, located in Soekarno-Hatta street, by lifting the concept of lifestyle center. This project has a number of employees more than 400 people, and the number of works that is four times larger than minimum the government regulations which increased the risk of workplace accidents. In order to reduce this risk, it is necessary implemented SMK3 in the project. The research method is using quantitative method and then the univariate analysis descriptive method and qualitative method. Questionnaire was taken from 400 workers and 27 staff of the projects with reference to Government Rule number 50 of 2012. As a result, The implementation SMK3 reached 71,49% included in the category GOOD. SMK3 audit assessment for building project Living World Pekanbaru has reached 94 % and is at SATISFY category. Audit SMK3 which produces 3 criteria do not correspond minor and 6 major criteria for inappropriate. The Calculation of cost analysis tools and equipment procurement project K3 is equal to Rp.88.009.203,00 or 0,0002% of the entire value of the project contract. Kajian Teknis Sistem Konversi Pneumatis Energi Gelombang Laut Menggunakan Tanki Bertekanan Dan OWC (Oscillating Water Column)
Semakin tahun populasi penduduk di Indonesia selalu meningkat sehingga kebutuhan konsumsi energi listrik begitu tinggi. Di Indonesia, pembangkit listrik banyak menggunakan bahan bakar fosil sebagai bahan bakar utama, padahal potensi energi alternatif dan ramah lingkungan di Indonesia dapat dimaksimalkan, misalnya energi gelombang laut. Pada penelitian ini difokuskan pada evaluasi kinerja sistem pembangkit listrik tenaga gelombang laut menggunakan tanki bertekanan dan multiple OWC (Oscillating Water Column). Pada percobaan yang telah dilakukan, dengan tekanan 4.5 bar pada tanki bertekanan dengan volume 0.5 m3, putaran yang dihasilkan generator adalah 1876 rpm dan daya luaran generator yang dihasilkan adalah 168 watt. The Effect of Desferoxamine on Bone Healing of Tibial Fracture with 2 Mm Defect in Sprague Dawley Rat
Introduction.Desferoxamine is one of iron chelating drugs. With the chelation of iron, phosphatidylinositol -3- kinase inhibitor is inhibited so that the release of endothelial nitric oxide synthesis phosphorylation is uninhibited. We examined whether addition of desferoxamine would lead to fracture healing enhancement. Material and methods. Twenty four Spargue Dawley mice were used in the study. Their tibias were fractured and 2 mm defect were created. The fractures were then fixated using intramedullary K-wire. They were then allocated into four groups: group I received nothing, group II, III, and IV received desferoxamine since the first, fifteenth, and twenty second day respectively. The radiological and histological scores were measured at the sixth week and analyzed using ANOVA test.Results.There were significant differences in radiological and histological scores among groups. (p = 0.024 and p = 0.007 respectively)Conclusions.Addition of desferoxamine since the fifteenth but not after the twenty second days enhanced fracture healing

The mainly target of the operational of pole and line is skipjack tuna. Pole and line is a type of fishing gear that consist of pole, line and hook. The purpose of this research were to analyze the effect of artificial bait's colours against total catch, to analyze the effect of type of live bait against total catch, and to analyze the interaction between the colours of artificial bait and live bait against total catch. The research was done in March-April 2012 in PPI Dufa-dufa Ternate. The research was used experimental fishing methods which have two variables they are: the color of artificial bait and live bait with 4 types of treatment. Normality test and ANOVA test by SPSS 16.0 was employed to analyze data.. The results of this research showed that the difference colours of artificial bait and live bait was effected the total catch of skipjack tuna it was seen from the total catch of anchovy artificial red bait as much as 544, and the total catch of anchovy artificial green bait fish as much as 329, the total catch of scad mackerel artificial red bait as much as 425 and the total catch of scad mackerel artificial green bait as much as 272. ANOVA test results showed that using pole and line with anchovy live bait and artificial red bait is better to be used

Acrylamide is a substance that can cause cancer on human and is neurotoxic. Acrylamide is formed due to high temperature heating of foods that contains carbohydrates and amino acids. Carbohydrates and amino acids are the major compounds that contained in coffee beans. This study aims to determine the levels of acrylamide in ground coffee and instant coffee that have different process of manufacture. Method of analyze of acrylamide were perfomed by HPLC (High Performance of Liquid Chromatography) method using mobile phase that consists of phosphoric acid : acetonitrile : aquabides (1:5:94 v/v/v), the stationary phase was Sunfire C18 column (150 x 4.6 mm, 5μm), and the flow rate was 0-15 mL/minute and the detection using UV 202 nm. The result of the study was validation of method that provide the linearity 0.999 (range 2-20 μg/mL), LOD of 0.94 μg/mL and LOQ of 2.86 μg/mL, the precision with RSD of 0.47%, and accuracy for ground coffee of 91-94% and instant coffee of 99-102%. The study found acrylamide levels in ground coffee and instant coffee were 7.03 ±0.01 μg/g dan 5.71 ± 0.03 μg/g respectively. These levels were considered safe for up to 16 g for consume of coffee
