There\u27s a Little Spark of Love Still Burning
[Verse 1] There was a fire burning in my heart, Burning for years and for years Your love and kisses gave that flame a start, I put it out with my tears; You don’t remember, I can’t forget, That old affection lives with me yet, I keep on longing, to my regret, I know I can’t forget.
[Chorus] There’s a little spark of love still burning, And yearning in my heart for you, There’s a longing there for your returning, I want you! I do! So come, come to my heart again, Come, come, set that love a flame, For there’s a little spark of love still burning, and yearning for you.
[Verse 2] I left you laughing I said goodbye, Laughing but nobody knew How much relief I found when I could cry, I cried my heart out for you; I’ve loved you more than you’ll ever know, Tho’ years have passed I’ve wanted you so, Bring back the old love, let new love grow, come back and whisper low.
[Chorus
The Topology of a Bubble in dry Foam
The topological structure of such a bubble requires two necessary conditions. Firstly, Euler’s relation between the numbers of its (surface) areas, its (Plateau) borders, and its nodal points (vertices) must be fulfilled. Secondly, always three borders on its surface meet at each nodal point. These conditions allow certain sets of areas with different numbers of borders. However, only when those areas can form a correct net of borders connected by nodal points at a sphere then a bubble topology for such a set has been realized. With forced T1 and inverse T2 processes and by the use of computer programs real topologies have been obtained for bubbles with area numbers up to 16. Their construction out of the computer data is illustrated. A special classification scheme among bubbles of equal area number as well as the appearance of topological isomers are discussed
A transparent disk containing dense scratch marks along concentric circles in a disordered sequence is hit by light from the sun. If you look at it with both eyes, then the illusion of a bright band appears to you. It always runs from the sun through the space to the center of the circles and from there onward to the foreground. Moving or inclining the disk will simultaneously change the course of the band. The occurrence of this 3D-illusion is explained and described by formulas. A connection with the so-called “Poisson`s Spot” will be discussed. Finally we show, that by using CD- or DVD-disks this 3D-illusion can be obtained as a colorful bright band

Sharing a Mental Number Line Across Individuals?:The Role of Body Position and Empathy in Joint Numerical Cognition
A growing body of research shows that the human brain acts differently when performing a task together with another person than when performing the same task alone. In this study, we investigated the influence of a co-actor on numerical cognition using a joint random number generation (RNG) task. We found that participants generated relatively smaller numbers when they were located to the left (vs. right) of a co-actor (Experiment 1), as if the two individuals shared a mental number line and predominantly selected numbers corresponding to their relative body position. Moreover, the mere presence of another person on the left or right side or the processing of numbers from loudspeaker on the left or right side had no influence on the magnitude of generated numbers (Experiment 2), suggesting that a bias in RNG only emerged during interpersonal interactions. Interestingly, the effect of relative body position on RNG was driven by participants with high trait empathic concern towards others, pointing towards a mediating role of feelings of sympathy for joint compatibility effects. Finally, the spatial bias emerged only after the co-actors swapped their spatial position, suggesting that joint spatial representations are constructed only after the spatial reference frame became salient. In contrast to previous studies, our findings cannot be explained by action co-representation because the consecutive production of numbers does not involve conflict at the motor response level. Our results therefore suggest that spatial reference coding, rather than motor mirroring, can determine joint compatibility effects. Our results demonstrate how physical properties of interpersonal situations, such as the relative body position, shape seemingly abstract cognition
