Implementation of E-Learning in to OHS Education
AbstractDevelopment in the field of science and technology affects the interest of the elements of educational innovations. The application of information technologies (IT) is associated with their dynamic usage on not only in real life, but also in the education. It is necessary to take advantage of the younger generation interest in working with information technologies. The focus of the work with computer is to streamline and optimize selected phases of teaching. The improving of school education results in raising educational level. The education, as important part of the development process, has its relevant position. The educational content, knowledge, abilities and skills, must be usable in further studying and in the daily practice. To follow OHS rules in chemical laboratory means the establishment of theoretical knowledge, skills development and appropriate safety habits. E-learning technologies afford the creation of really innovative authentic learning tasks oriented on compliance of OHS principles. In this article we presented the example of one OHS topic oriented on injuries in chemical laboratory with using e-learning
SPATIAL VARIABILITY OF CHEMICAL PROPERTIES IN EUTRIC CAMBISOLS
The work is focused on the valuation of the impact of relief on the difference values of the chemical parameters of Eutric Cambisols, and to specifying correlation between observed properties of soils. The soils samples were collected in the autumn 2011 in the central part of Slovakia, on the neovulcanites of Kremnické vrchy Mts. We determined soil pH, the total content of organic carbon, the content of labile carbon, the content of potentially mineralizable nitrogen, the content of inorganic form of nitrogen, the sum of basic cations, the cation exchange capacity, hydrolytic acidity and base saturation. The values of soil pH in the monitored soil type were in the range from 6.3 to 7.2, the content of humus in the range 1,51 to 6.76%, the ratio of labile forms of carbon and nitrogen in the range from 15.53 to 80.92. When we observed the content of nitrate nitrogen and ammonium nitrogen in soil samples we found out that the content of nitrate nitrogen was 1.5 times (54.5 %) bigger on the slope and 1.1 times (10.5 %) bigger on the plain then the content of ammonium nitrogen. In statistical assessment of the variability of soil chemical parameters regard to selected types of relief (plain, slope) we found out a significant difference between the content of organic carbon (p = 0.021) and also the content of labile forms of carbon and nitrogen. The values of chemical parameters of soil were not affected only by shapes of relief, but also by higher level of groundwater. Positive relationship was found between the content of organic carbon and labile form of nitrogen in the soil samples (r = 0.747; p < 0.01). We also found a positive correlation between the content of labile forms of carbon and nitrogen (r = 0.600; p < 0.05)
The monitoring of selected heavy metals content and bioavailability in the soil–plant system and its impact on sustainability in agribusiness food chain
This study assisted in identifying and preventing the increase in heavy metals in soil and winter wheat. Its accumulation can affect cultivated crops, quality and crop yields, and consumers' health. Selected heavy metals were analyzed using the GTAAS method. They were undertaken on selected heavy metals content (Cd, Cu, Pb, and Zn) in arable soils at three sites in Slovakia and their accumulation in parts of cultivated winter wheat. Our study showed that the limit value of Cd in soil samples was exceeded in the monitored arable soils from 2017-2019. The average content values of Cu and Zn did not exceed the limit values, even in Pb values (except for the spring period). The analyses also showed that the heavy metals content for plants bioavailable in soil did not exceed the statutory critical values for Cd, Cu, and Zn's average content values. However, Pb content exceeded permitted critical values. Heavy metals bioaccumulation (Zn, Cu) was within the limit values in wheat. Analyzed Cd content in wheat roots and Pb content were determined in all parts of wheat except grain. The study showed that grain from cultivated winter wheat in monitored arable soils is not a risk for consumers.Cultural and Educational Grant Agency (KEGA) of the Ministry of Education, Science, Research, and Sport of the Slovak Republic [015UKF-4/2022]; European CommunityEuropean Commission [26220220180]; Slovak Research and Development AgencySlovak Research and Development Agency [APVV-14-0446]European Commission, EC: 26220220180; Ministerstvo školstva, vedy, výskumu a športu Slovenskej republiky: 015UKF‐4/2022; Narodowe Centrum Nauki, NCN: 2017/25/N/ST10/00909; Agentúra na Podporu Výskumu a Vývoja, APVV: APVV‐14‐0446; Kultúrna a Edukacná Grantová Agentúra MŠVVaŠ SR, KEG
WdroŜenie nowych trendów w zakresie szkolenia BHP dla przyszłych nauczycieli chemii
Neustále sa zvyšujú požiadavky súčasnej spoločnosti obsiahnuté v spoločenskej
funkcii a v základných cieľoch jednotlivých typov a druhov škôl. Pri formovaní
všestranne rozvinutej spoločnosti škola zohráva veľmi dôležitú úlohu. Úlohy
kladené na školu cieľavedome zvýrazňujú vzdelávaciu a výchovnú zložku
edukačného procesu, realizovanú vo vyučovaní jednotlivých disciplín napr.
chémie. Predpokladom dobrých výsledkov v disciplíne akou je chémia, je práve
zručnosť a obratnosť v laboratórnych technikách. Vykonávané pracovné operácie
v laboratórnych podmienkach sú podmienené výchovou a vzdelávaním k BOZP.
Poznanie, spojené s praktickou činnosťou, ku ktorému študent – budúci učiteľ
chémie pristupuje dostatočne aktívne, samostatne a tvorivo, sa stáva hlbším,
trvalejším a lepšie aplikovateľným.
Z didaktického hľadiska ide o požiadavku rozvíjania zručností a návykov nielen
a poranenia.
ochrany zdravia a dodržiavania zásad bezpečnej práce nielen v rámci školského
vzdelávania, ale v rámci celoživotného vzdelávania.Current social requirements included within the social function and basic
objectives of single school types and levels are steadily increasing. The educational
institution plays a very important role in the process of forming a generally
developed society. Roles are targeted at the instructional and educational
elements of the process included in single subjects, e. g. chemistry. As the chemistry
is an experimental science, laboratory skills are expected. The applied work
operations running under laboratory conditions are influenced by the OHS education
and instruction. The process of cognition supported by practical activities,
which the pregraduate student approaches actively, independently and creatively,
provides outcomes of higher quality, durability and is easily applicable in
the field of OHS education. From the didactic point of view it regards to the
requirement of developing knowledge and skills not only on theoretical bases. It
is obligatory for each student working in the laboratory to have basic knowledge
of danger relating to the work done. The danger of fire, explosion or injury may
appear in the chemical laboratory. That is the reason why the OHS education is
required. Relating to this, the importance of OHS education is increasing, which
provides optimal conditions for learning and thus increases the effectiveness of
pregraduate chemistry teachers knowledge.
The aim of the paper is to emphasize the importance of OHS education and
to keep the defined rules not only within the school education, but also in the
lifelong learning.Aktualne wymogi społeczne względem szkół poszczególnych poziomów
i typów ciągle rosną. Szkolnictwo wyŜsze odgrywa bardzo waŜną rolę w procesie
kształtowania rozwiniętych społeczeństw. Kształcenie studentów odbywa się
przez rozwój wiadomości i umiejętności z poszczególnych przedmiotów. Chemia
i higieną pracy w edukacji wzrasta. Znajomość i przestrzeganie
zasad BHP zapewnia optymalne warunki nauki, a skuteczność dydaktyczna nauczycieli
OSH as a Motivation Factor in ŠVOČ Works
V príspevku poukazujeme na dôležitosť zvyšovať záujem mladých ľudí
o oblasť BOZP a následne rozvíjať ich vedomosti a odborne rásť v danej oblasti.
a prezentovať svoje odborné názory v rámci tvorivých vedeckých prác. Pretože
chémia ako disciplína má experimentálny charakter a mnohé odborné práce si
In the article we present how important is to increase an interest of young
people in zone of OSH, with this is connected their knowledge and special
growth in this zone. Participation in ŠVOČ (Student Scientific Work) is one of
the opportunities which allow young people scientific thinking and presentation
their special opinions through scientific works. Chemistry has an experimental
character and a lot of scientific works need research in laboratory and because of
this fact is very important to increase an interest of young generation in following
rules of OSH
Prehlbovanie a rozširovanie vedomostí mení postoje k prostrediu.
Environmental education is the key component of tool, for the preservation of the environ-ment, which can increase knowledge. Dissemination and increasing of knowledge is leading to improved attitudes to environment. Attitudes are changing behaviour of people. Environmental education is frequently undertaken as a conservation intervention designed to change the attitudes and behaviour of recipients. Much conservation education is aimed at children and students, with the rationale that they might influence the attitudes of their parents, who will consequently change their behaviour. Our paper provides the first strong support for the suggestion that environmental education can be transferred between generations and indirectly induce targeted behavioural changes. The aim of the paper is to inform pupils, students, teachers and future teachers with on-line innovative study materials contained in the e-learning course prepared under the KEGA Project (Cultural and Educational Grant Agency) No. 044UKF-4/2017. This project describes treatment of the surrounding environment and countryside and suggests a way to prevent it. The training topics of the course analyse the situation, look for solutions and the basics to improve the current state of the environment. The course focuses on the chemical nature of waste and waste management from the point of view of educational work and its application in practic
