"Ce n\u2019est pas seulement un langage de femme" : la voix f\ue9minine \ue9touff\ue9e de Marie de l\u2019Incarnation
La focalisation r\ue9cente des gender studies sur les \ue9crits spirituels des femmes dans les colonies, religieuses ou d\ue9votes fournit des pistes d\u2019analyse int\ue9ressantes pour relire l\u2019\u153uvre de Marie de l\u2019Incarnation. Son destin, en effet, est semblable \ue0 celui d\u2019autres femmes de l\u2019\ue9poque op\ue9rant dans des contextes religieux, auxquelles on ne reconna\ueet pas un statut d\u2019auteur, m\ueame si elles jouent un r\uf4le de plus en plus important au sein de l\u2019\uc9glise. Invit\ue9es, ou parfois oblig\ue9es par d\u2019autres autorit\ue9s eccl\ue9siastiques, des hommes, \ue0 relater leur exp\ue9rience et donc \ue0 utiliser le \u2018je\u2019 de l\u2019\ue9criture, elles ne sont pas reconnues en tant qu\u2019auteurs. Jusqu\u2019aux ann\ue9es 1930, les \ue9crits de l\u2019Ursuline n\u2019\ue9taient connus qu\u2019\ue0 travers les nombreuses biographies qui, pendant les si\ue8cles, ont aliment\ue9 une litt\ue9rature d\ue9vote ayant grandement contribu\ue9 \ue0 l\u2019\ue9riger en personnage fondateur de l\u2019histoire du Qu\ue9bec catholique. Encore \ue0 l\u2019\ue9poque actuelle cet itin\ue9raire, marqu\ue9 par l\u2019entreprise apostolique au Canada que Marie aussi estimait d\u2019\uabextraordinaire, [...] \ue9loign\ue9e de [s]a condition et sans exemple\ubb, n\u2019a pas cess\ue9 d\u2019attirer l\u2019attention sur la femme et sur son \u153uvre, sans toutefois entra\ueener une approche textuelle globale de son \u153uvre. \uc0 travers l\u2019analyse des Retraites de la V\ue9n\ue9rable M\ue8re Marie de l\u2019Incarnation, religieuse ursuline, avec une exposition succincte du \u201cCantique des cantiques\u201d (1682) nous nous proposons de d\ue9gager l\u2019\u153uvre du carcan de gloses qui l\u2019a enserr\ue9 pendant des si\ue8cles et de faire \ue9merger les traits d\u2019une \ue9criture f\ue9minine profond\ue9ment originale.

Grazie a una serie di recenti riletture, influenzate da un cambiamento di prospettiva che privilegia la relazione e l\u2019interazione allo studio del singolo oggetto, i testi dei missionari cattolici in Canada possono essere considerati come testimonianza di un\u2019esperienza coloniale ed umana che fu caratterizzata dal meticciato e dall\u2019ibridazione e che modific\uf2 in maniera essenziale lo sviluppo della nostra civilt\ue0.
The texts of the Catholic missionaries in Canada are an extraordinary anthropological, historical, but above all literary testimony of the Europeans' meeting with the otherness represented by the natives of the New World. The new readings, introduced in the essays devoted to the Nouvelle-France, allow us to consider this corpus as a testimony of a colonial and human experience that was characterized by miscegenation and hybridity and which fundamentally modified, in an essential way, the development of our civilization
Lāusage de la photo dans la creĢation autobiographique au feĢminin en contexte colonial Une nouvelle forme dāagentiviteĢ ?
ReĢsumeĢ Carole BeĢnitah et Zineb SeĢdira, artistes dāorigine marocaine et algeĢrienne, Marie Cardinal, LeiĢla Sebbar, et HeĢleĢne Cixous, eĢcrivaines "francĢ§aises" neĢes en AlgeĢrie, ont recours dans leur Åuvre aĢ la photographie pour interroger leur meĢmoire personnelle et lāhistoire coloniale. Selon le proceĢdeĢ du palimpseste et de la steĢreĢoscopie, en creusant derrieĢre la surface des images, ces creĢatrices parviennent aĢ faire ressortir des nÅuds latents propres de la socieĢteĢ coloniale, fortement patriarcale. La deĢfinition des traits communs de la poeĢtique de ces eĢcrivaines et artistes corrobore notre hypotheĢse quāil existe dans la litteĢrature contemporaine en francĢ§ais un courant d'Åuvres "autophotogynobiographiques" dont le commun deĢnominateur est donneĢ par le reĢinvestissement de la photographie de la part des artistes : percĢ§ue moins comme un document ou un teĢmoignage, celle-ci active une nouvelle narration, deĢcapante, incisive, qui permet aĢ chaque autrice de devenir aussi une actrice.
Abstract Carole BeĢnitah and Zineb SeĢdira, artists of Moroccan and Algerian origin, along with Marie Cardinal, LeiĢla Sebbar, and HeĢleĢne Cixous, "French" writers born in Algeria, use photography in their work to explore their personal memories and colonial history. Employing the techniques of palimpsest and stereoscopy, by delving beneath the surface of the images, these female creators manage to bring to light latent knots inherent to the strongly patriarchal colonial society. Defining the common features of the poetics of these writers and artists corroborates our hypothesis that within contemporary French literature, there is a trend of "autophotogynobiographical" works, unified by the reappropriation of photography by the female artists. Perceived less as a document or testimony, photography here activates a new narrative that is incisive and corrosive, enabling each female author to also become an actor

CONVERSATION āEN ARCHIPELāAVEC MAYLIS DE KERANGAL
La carrieĢre litteĢraire de Maylis de Kerangal, commenceĢe en 2000 (Je marche sous un ciel de
traiĢne) sāest poursuivie avec la publication dāune quinzaine dāouvrages de fiction dont les plus
ceĢleĢbres sont Corniche Kennedy (2008), Naissance dāun pont (2010) et ReĢparer les vivants (2014)
qui ont obtenu des prix prestigieux en France et aĢ lāeĢtranger; les deux derniers ont eĢteĢ porteĢs
aĢ lāeĢcran en 2016. Ces romans, ainsi que Tangente vers lāest (2012), AĢ ce stade de la nuit (2014),
Un monde aĢ porteĢe de main (2018) et CanoeĢs (2021) ont eĢteĢ traduits en italien et publieĢs chez
Feltrinelli. Le titre de cette conversation sāinspire du dernier recueil de lāauteure francĢ§aise, Archipel,
paru en 2022 qui regroupe vingt-deux textes, fictions, reĢcits et essais parus entre 2007 et
2022; la meĢtaphore de lāarchipel renvoie, en meĢme temps, aĢ des formes diffeĢrentes quāexploite
Maylis de Kerangal au sein desquelles il est possible de deĢceler une profonde uniteĢ. Parmi les
multiples theĢmatiques preĢsentes dans lāoeuvre de lāeĢcrivaine, extreĢmement riche et encore in
fieri, on aborde quelques questions de poeĢtique centrales dans ses textes: la notion dāeĢcriture
comme traduction; la voix au point de vue theĢmatique et de la narration; le rapport de lāauteure
aĢ ses personnages. Par une narration deĢtailleĢe qui utilise un vocabulaire speĢcialiseĢ, Maylis de
Kerangal entraiĢne ses lecteurs dans des univers polyphoniques eĢvocateurs, leur permettant
de peĢneĢtrer lāaĢme de multiples personnages dont ils partagent les eĢmotions et les sensibiliteĢs.
LāeĢcriture puissante de Maylis de Kerangal fournit, ainsi, au roman contemporain les moyens
pour preĢserver sa force narrative et rester vital, meĢme dans un univers meĢdiatique domineĢ par
lāimage. Cette conversation a eu lieu aĢ UniversiteĢ dāUdine le 21 mars 2023 dans le cadre de la
XXIXe eĢdition du Festival Dedica de Pordenone consacreĢ aĢ lāauteure francĢ§aise.
In Conversation with Maylis De Kerangal: Exploring the Archipelago of Her Writing
The literary career of Maylis de Kerangal, which began in 2000 with Je marche sous un ciel de
traiĢne, has continued with the publication of around fifteen works of fiction, the most famous
being Corniche Kennedy (2008), Naissance dāun pont (2010), and ReĢparer les vivants (2014),
which have received prestigious awards in France and abroad. The last two were adapted into
films in 2016. These novels, along with Tangente vers lāest (2012), AĢ ce stade de la nuit (2014),
Un monde aĢ porteĢe de main (2018), and CanoeĢs (2021), have been translated into Italian and
published by Feltrinelli. The title of this conversation is inspired by the French authorās latest
collection, Archipel, released in 2022, which brings together twenty-two texts, including fiction,
stories, and essays published between 2007 and 2022. The metaphor of the archipelago
simultaneously refers to the different forms explored by de Kerangal, within which it is possible
to discern a profound unity. Among the numerous themes present in the writerās incredibly
rich and ongoing work, some central poetic questions in her texts are addressed: the concept of
writing as translation, the role of voice both in theme and narration, and the authorās relationship
with her characters. Through detailed writing that employs specialized vocabulary, Maylis de
Kerangal immerses her readers in evocative polyphonic narrative worlds, allowing them to delve
into the souls of multiple characters, sharing their emotions and sensitivities. Maylis de Kerangalās
powerful writing thus equips contemporary novels with the means to preserve their narrative
strength and remain vibrant, even in a media-dominated world where images prevail. This conversation
took place at the University of Udine on March 21, 2023, as part of the 29th edition of
the Dedica Festival in Pordenone dedicated to the French author
Autobiografie fototestuali al femminile nella letteratura francese contemporanea
Lāarticolo prende in esame lāinserimento della fotografia nel testo autobiografico contemporaneo francese secondo una prospettiva di genere e diacronica, a partire dagli esordi, rintracciabili nellāopera di Claude Cahun Aveux non avenus (1930), fino al contemporaneo. Lāobiettivo ĆØ di riconoscere le peculiaritĆ di questa produzione e individuarne i nuclei semantici nellāambito della letteratura francese al femminile dagli anni Novanta. Lāanalisi dellāopera delle scrittrici che si sono servite dellāimmagine per coniugare memoria coloniale e memoria personale ā ĆØ il caso di Marie Cardinal, LeĆÆla Sebbar, HĆ©lĆØne Cixous e Colette Fellous ā e di quelle la cui prospettiva ĆØ piĆ¹ personale, intimista, come Annie Duperey, Silvia Baron Supervielle, Chantal Akerman, Annie Ernaux, Marie Ndiaye, Anne-Marie Garat, Marie Desplechin e Catherine Cusset ha messo in rilievo la presenza di unāimportante costante formale e tematica: il modello dellāalbum fotografico e del suo layout nel fototesto autobiografico contemporaneo. Tale modello consente alla scrittura di focalizzarsi sul minuscolo e sul quotidiano di vite secondarie che diventano cosƬ protagoniste, al centro di unāattenzione e una partecipazione caratteristiche della cultura femminile del care. Abbiamo inoltre scorto nellāinterrogazione dellāalbum famigliare un modello a cui questi testi si ispirano e nella scrittura banale e inespressiva una delle modalitĆ che ne accomuna la poetica, al punto da poter parlare di unāautofotobiografia al femminile nella letteratura francese contemporanea che potremmo definire, coniando un neologismo, āautofotoginobiografia
