FPGA-based operational concept and payload data processing for the Flying Laptop satellite
Flying Laptop is the first small satellite developed by the Institute of Space Systems at the Universität Stuttgart. It is a test bed for an on-board computer with a reconfigurable, redundant and self-controlling high computational ability based on the field pro- grammable gate arrays (FPGAs). This Technical Note presents the operational concept and the on-board payload data processing of the satellite. The designed operational concept of Flying Laptop enables the achievement of mission goals such as technical demonstration, scientific Earth observation, and the payload data processing methods. All these capabilities expand its scientific usage and enable new possibilities for real-time applications. Its hierarchical architecture of the operational modes of subsys- tems and modules are developed in a state-machine diagram and tested by means of MathWorks Simulink-/Stateflow Toolbox. Furthermore, the concept of the on-board payload data processing and its implementation and possible applications are described
Aplikasi Pembelajaran Penyortiran Menggunakan Algoritma Super Sort Berbasis Mobile
Entanglement detection with trace polynomials
We provide a systematic method for nonlinear entanglement detection based on
trace polynomial inequalities. In particular, this allows to employ
multi-partite witnesses for the detection of bipartite states, and vice versa.
We identify witnesses for which linear detection of an entangled state fails,
but for which nonlinear detection succeeds. With the trace polynomial
formulation a great variety of witnesses arise from immamant inequalities,
which can be implemented in the laboratory through randomized measurements
Computationally efficient cardiac views projection using 3D Convolutional Neural Networks
4D Flow is an MRI sequence which allows acquisition of 3D images of the
heart. The data is typically acquired volumetrically, so it must be reformatted
to generate cardiac long axis and short axis views for diagnostic
interpretation. These views may be generated by placing 6 landmarks: the left
and right ventricle apex, and the aortic, mitral, pulmonary, and tricuspid
valves. In this paper, we propose an automatic method to localize landmarks in
order to compute the cardiac views. Our approach consists of first calculating
a bounding box that tightly crops the heart, followed by a landmark
localization step within this bounded region. Both steps are based on a 3D
extension of the recently introduced ENet. We demonstrate that the long and
short axis projections computed with our automated method are of equivalent
quality to projections created with landmarks placed by an experienced cardiac
radiologist, based on a blinded test administered to a different cardiac
radiologist
Modelling And Visualizing Knowledge On The Reference System And Varations Based On The Model Of PGE – Product Generation Engineering For Decision Support
In 2019, Dyson had to cancel its ambitious electric car project after having already 500 Million pounds spent. This example shows how difficult it is to assess the consequences of decisions on development targets as cost, risk, and innovation potential. Knowledge about references, variation types and their impact on development targets can help to increase the maturity of the decision basis. The model of PGE - product generation engineering describes these interrelations using the reference system. This contribution deals with the question of how knowledge about the impact of variation types and characteristics of reference system elements on new product generations can be made usable through modelling and visualization. Therefore, characteristics of reference system elements and their impacts on common development targets are collected through literature research. To process this knowledge base in technical information systems, an Entity-Relationship data model is developed. Through the implementation of a VR visualization, the data model is validated and a first visualisation approach is shown. The findings of this work can be used to systematise research on impact factors in PGE and to develop further digital methods
