Identification of BMP15 Exon 2 for Fecundity Traits by PCR-RFLP and Nucleotide Sequencies in Kejobong Goat

Kejobong goat is known as prolific and high productivity goat breed in Indonesia. PCR-RFLP and sequencing technique was established in the present study to accomplish the polymorphisms of Bone Morphogenetic Protein 15 (BMP15) gene exon 2 on Kejobong goat does. The blood samples was collected from 48 Kejobong does which were selected based on their litter size. The size of PCR amplification of BMP15 gene exon 2 was 837 bp. The product of PCR-RFLP technique digested by HinfI enzyme showed that the samples were monomorphic. Authentication result using nucleotide sequencing found 4 substitution (A391G, C464G, T828C and C830G), 1 alignment gap (site 817) and 1 insertion nucleotide (site 822). This mutations caused 6 haplotypes formatted. The mutants of BMP15 exon 2 on Kejobong goats indicated that this breed had their own mutation controling the prolific trait. The phylogenetic tree build on the sequences of BMP15 gene exon 2 of Kejobong goats was grouped into 3 clusters. The alignment gap indicated to be the specific marker for the prolific trait (duplet) in Kejobong goat. The particular insertion site could be the recognition site of Kejobong goat based on BMP15 exon 2

The purpose of this study is to determine the influences of professionalism, Emotional Spiritual Quotient (ESQ), and Locus of Control on Dysfunctional Behavior with the Performance of Internal auditor as an intervening variable. The study is conducted in State Development Audit Agency, South Sumatra Province. This study has employed associative research methods to determine the relationship of correlation or causal relationship between variables. The sampling technique used is saturated sample or census for 110 internal auditors with varying degrees, but with just 52 eligible respondents processed and tested further. The analysis of data used a structural equation model with a Partial Least Square approach coupled with Smart PLS Software 3.0. The results showed that the professionalism, ESQ, and locus of control are directly related to dysfunctional behavior, and to the performance of internal auditor as a variable support for dysfunctional behaviors’ internal auditor in South Sumatra. In effect, high professionalism, ESQ, and Locus of Control could lead to effective performance for internal auditors and, hence, deter fraud.     Keywords: professionalism, ESQ (Emotional Spiritual Quotient), locus of control, performance, reception dysfunctional behavio

Ethnic diversity makes Indonesia rich in diverse cultures. Indonesia\u27s geographical differences can enrich cultural treasures. Including as shadow puppets, the traditional arts in Indonesia. Shadow puppets are more developed in the central and eastern Java.Making educational game aims to introduce culture to the Indonesian shadow puppets especially children who will be the next generation. Because of the erosion of indigenous Indonesian culture with foreign cultures. So with more applicable learning methods, it is hoped the public, especially children - children can be more interested in getting to know their own culture.Based on that, the authors attempted to solve the above problems by providing solutions to help bring genuine Indonesian shadow puppets to children. Through these educational games, children will get information about shadow puppets playing and not get bored because it comes with images, text, animation, video, and sound that allows users to interact

The purpose of this research was to identify the effect of health education of cardiac rehabilitation exercise to knowledge and ability of early mobilization in patients with Congestive Heart Failure (CHF). This study used pra-experimental methods with pre and post-test without control. This research was conducted at Flamboyan ward Arifin Achmad Hospital Pekanbaru with 30 respondents. This research used purposive sampling technique. Measuring instrument of this research used questionnaire and observation sheet. The analysis used univariate and bivariate with using wilcoxon test. The results showed the effect of health education of cardiac rehabilitation exercise to knowledge with ρ value 0,004 and ability of early mobilization in patients with Congestive Heart Failure (CHF) with ρ value 0,000. It is recommended to the hospital to include cardiac rehabilitation exercise program so that patients can do early mobilization activities within there capabilities for hospitalize

The liquid waste of palm oil containing high nutrients and can be used as a source of nutrients for growth microalgae such as Chlorella sp. A research aims to understand the effects of palm oil liquid waste addition in the media toward the growth of Chlorella sp. has been conducted from May – July 2016. The culture was conducted for 20 days. There were 4 treatment applied, namely P0 (0% waste), P1 (20% waste), P2 (25% waste) and P3 (30% waste). Parameters measured were the abundance and biomass of Chlorella sp., temperature, pH, nitrate, and phosphate. Result shown that the best growth of Chlorella sp. was in the P1, the abundance was 61.45 × 105 cells/ml and the biomass was 0.36 g/l. During the research, the nutrient available in the media decreased, from 1.13 to 0.09 mg/l (nitrate) and from 3.54 to 0.48 mg/l (phosphate). This fact indicates that the nutrient have been used for growing the microalgae. Based on data obtained, it can be concluded that the palm oil liquid waste can be used as a source of nutrients for Chlorella sp
