    This Community Service aims to organize a Teaching Basic Skills Refreshment Training for teachers of ibtidaiyyah Madrasah in Ambulu Jember, besides that the training participants are able to master the concept of basic teaching skills of teachers as a prerequisite for the implementation of the independent learning program in the classroom, and participants are able to change the views and attitudes of teachers who have a feudal character to the character of humanism teachers. The method used in this community service is to use the lecture method, question and answer and practice or direct simulation. The results of this programs findings obtained are that teachers in carrying out learning must have the ability of teaching skills which include first the skills of opening and closing lessons. Secondly, the skill of explaining the lesson. Third, the skill of asking. Fourth, skills give reinforcement. Fifth, the skill of holding variations.     Habituation in education is very much needed because psychologically, students model more behavior or figures they idolize, including their teachers. Habituation is also no less important in learning activities. This is because any knowledge or behavior gained by habituation will be very difficult to change or eliminate it so that this method is very useful in educating children. Moral development activities for students are carried out at Dharma Wanita Sumberrejo Kindergarten through the habituation method of learning Islamic Religious Education (PAI). The research method used is a service method that describes the phenomenon that occurs as it is, data sources are obtained through school leaders, teachers and parents of children. The analysis is carried out with reference to the stages of tabulation, coding and giving meaning to the data. The results of the service show that the implementation of child moral development through the habituation method already contains the main teachings of Islam, namely Akidah (faith), Sharia (Islamic) and Akhlak (Ihsan). The method of habituation given by means of getting used to the behavior or moral attitude of the child repeatedly and continuously. In addition to the habituation carried out by teachers in schools, the role of parents is actually important for children's habituation in practicing Islamic teachings that have been taught through habituation in schools, but this role will not be maximized when parental involvement is not full on the development of children's behavior and morals

    Pembentukan karakter merupakan pendidikan awal dan mendasar dalam membentuk karakter peserta didik. Pembentukan karakter merupakan istilah yang semakin mendapatkan pengakuan dari masyarakat Indonesia saat ini. Apalagi dengan dirasakannya ketimpangan hasil pendidikan yang dilihat dari perilaku lulusan pendidikan formal saat ini, seperti korupsi, perkembangan seks bebas di kalangan remaja, narkoba, perkelahian, pembunuhan, dan perampokan oleh mahasiswa. Sehingga upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk memperbaiki permasalahan tersebut tidak terlepas dari pendidikan karakter. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan konsep pembentukan karakter dalam perspektif Musthafa Al Ghalayaini dalam bukunya Idhatun Nasyi'in. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kepustakaan. Temuan penelitian ini adalah perspektif pembentukan karakter Musthafa Al-Ghalayaini bahwa pendidikan merupakan upaya penanaman akhlak mulia dalam jiwa seorang peserta didik dan kebutuhan untuk menyiratkan dengan nasehat dan bimbingan. Nilai-nilai karakter yang terkandung di dalamnya adalah Ikhlash, Sabar, Kesejahteraan Rakyat, Kemuliaan, Agama, Kebohongan dan Kebenaran, Tolong Bantu, Kemurahan Hati, Usaha dan Tawakal. Relefansi pembentukan karakter menurut Musthafa Al-Ghalayaini sesuai dengan pendidikan karakter di Indonesia
