    The aim of this research is to analyze whether high school physics teaching materials which used in grade XI in the District of North Indralaya already represent the Scientific Literacy themes , as well as obtain information on the scope of science of teaching materials in the form of books used in schools in the district of North Indralaya. This research was done using physics teaching materials in the form of books used in grade XI in the District of North Indralaya, namely in SMAN 1 North Indralaya and SMA PGRI. The research found out that the books used in high schools in the District of North Indralaya already represent scientific literacy themes with an average emergence percentage of 59.62 % for the themes of scientific literacy as a knowledge of science, 33.57 % for the themes of literacy sciences as a way of investigating , 5.73 % for the themes of scientific literacy sciences as a way of thinking, and 1.08 % for the themes of the interaction of science, technology with society.     DEVELOPMENT OF STUDENT WORKSHEETS (LKS) BASED LEARNING CYCLE 5E ON MAIN MATERIAL ELASTICITY AND HOOKE’S LAW CLASS X HIGH SCHOOL

    Has successfully developed the student worksheets (LKS) 5E learning cycle based on the subject matter and Hooke's law of elasticity class X SMA valid and practical. The process of developing student worksheet (LKS) through the steps of research development model based product development Rowntree, include: (1) the planning stage of the needs analysis worksheets, requirements analysis learning cycle 5E, analysis of material needs elasticity and Hooke's law (2) stage the development of the formulation of learning objectives, development topics, the drafting, production prototypes, and (3) the evaluation stage. At this stage of the evaluation, researchers used a model formative evaluation Tessmer and tailored to the needs of researchers, namely: (1) self-evaluation; (2) The expert review; (3) one-to-one; and (4) small group. Data collection techniques used in the form walkthrough (validation expert lecturer and teacher of physics), the questionnaire responses of students, and student activity observation. The results of the research development of student worksheet (LKS) showed that the results of the validation stage of expert reviews, the average ratings of 88.20 validator (category very valid), meaning the student worksheet (LKS) product developed by the researchers included in the category of very valid. The results of the questionnaire responses of students at the stage of one-to-one shows the average percentage of 82.37% (practical categories), and at the stage of a small group showed that average percentage of 90.88% (the category of very practical), means the student worksheet (LKS)product had a very practical according to student responses. The average percentage of student activity by 90% (the excellent category), meaning the student worksheet (LKS)product is excellent when used in learning physics. Based on the results of the study concluded that the student work product sheet (LKS) 5E learning cycle based on the subject matter and Hooke's law of elasticity class X SMA developed was valid and practical

    Peningkatan Respon Imun Udang Vaname (Litopenaeus vannamei) Melalui Kombinasi Vitamin D3, Mineral Ca Dan Mg Pada Pakan

    Udang vaname merupakan biota perikanan yang tidak memiliki kekebalan tubuh spesifik. Sehingga dalam teknis pembudidayaan udang lebih menerapkan prinsip pencegahan terhadap serangan penyakit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat peningkatan respon imun udang vaname melalui penghitungan jumlah total hemosit dan pengamatan perbedaan jenis hemosit yang dipelihara selama 60 hari. Pengujian dilakukan dengan perlakuan kombinasi vitamin D3, mineral Ca dan Mg (Hyperol) pada pakan antara lain kontrol (pemeliharaan udang tanpa suplementasi Hyperol) dan pemeliharaan udang dengan penambahan suplementasi Hyperol pada pakan sebanyak 0,25 mL/kg pakan (A); 0,5 mL/kg pakan (B); 0,75 mL/kg pakan (C); dan 1 mL/kg pakan (D). Hasil terbaik yang didapatkan adalah perlakuan dengan penambahan suplementasi Hyperol 1 mL/kg pakan dengan jumlah total hemosit 65,41±1,90 x 106 sel/mL. Hal ini menunjukkan penggunaan Hyperol 1 mL/kg pakan dapat meningkatkan respon imun pada udang vaname. Vannamei shrimp is fisheries commodity who doesn’t have specific immunity in their body, so principle of prevent against disease was the most important thing to be applied in shrimp farming techniques. The aims of this study is to see an increase in the immune response of vannamei shrimp through counting the total number of hemocytes and observing the different types of hemocytes maintained for 60 days. Tests were carried out with a combination treatment of vitamin D3, minerals Ca and Mg (Hyperol) on the feed, including controls (raising shrimp without Hyperol supplementation) and rearing shrimp with the addition of Hyperol supplementation to feed as much as 0.25 mL/kg feed (A); 0.5 mL/kg feed (B); 0.75 mL/kg feed (C); and 1 mL/kg feed (D). The best results obtained were treatment with the addition of 1 mL/kg Hyperol supplementation with a total hemocyte count of 65.41 ± 1.90 x 106 cells/mL. This shows that the use of Hyperol 1 mL/kg of feed can increase the immune response in vannamei shrimp.

    The Use of Hydrogen Peroxide and Ionic Silver (Smart Care®) to Reduce Vibrio sp. Population

    Vibrio sp. adalah bakteri patogen penyebab wabah penyakit yang mematikan dan paling berbahaya dalam budidaya udang. Kandungan Hidrogen Peroksida dan ion silver dalam Smart Care® memiliki manfaat sebagai bekterisidal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas Hidrogen Peroksida dan ion silver (Smart Care®) dalam menurunkan populasi bakteri Vibrio sp. Kepadatan populasi Vibrio sp. diamati dengan perbedaan dosis pemberian Smart Care® yaitu 0 mg/L; 2 mg/L; 3 mg/L; 4 mg/L; dan 5mg/L. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kombinasi hidrogen peroksida dan ion silver (Smart Care®) secara signifikan mengurangi kolonisasi Vibrio sp. Mulai dari dosis 2 mg/L memiliki efektifitas yang baik dalam menurunkan populasi Vibrio sp. selama 72 jam
