    Get PDF
The Present Age is known as the age of knowledge while knowledge-based economy is emerging. So using and developing knowledge management in these circumstances is necessary. Being success in applying knowledge management requaires knowledge management maturity evaluation. This evaluation helps identifying and passing the barriers within knowledge management. There are several models suitable in evaluating knowledge management maturity and we must choose among them. In these models various dimensions have been considered for maturity while all dimensions have an equal weight meanwhile differences among organizations are almost neglected. In this research after finding the basic framework, FANP method has been used and by polling expert opinion the ellements of framework were localized for Ansar Bank while different weights allocated through its dimensions. Finally localized framework has been presented in 5 levels and 54 dimensions in order to set priorities within each layer. This could lead to greater accuracy in determining the banks maturity due to environmental conditions. This method can be used for localizing the evaluation of knowledge management maturity in other organizations

    Get PDF
Colchicine overdose is uncommon; however, it can cause serious adverse effects and even death. Colchicine inhibits microtubule polymerization, causing mitotic spindle disruption. Ingesting ˃0.5 mg of colchicine per kilogram bodyweight causes severe adverse effects and can even be fatal. Therefore, colchicine toxicity must be accurately monitored and managed. In this case report, we described a 21-year-old woman who attempted suicide by the ingestion of an estimated 30 mg colchicine. She was admitted to the hospital due to severe abdominal and chest pain, vomiting, lethargy, and weakness. The patient was medicated with ondansetron, apotel, antibiotics, platelet transfusions, sodium phosphate, calcium gluconate, calcitriol, desmopressin acetate, Granulocyte-Colony Stimulating Factor (G-CSF), and sodium bicarbonate. Fortunately, through the appropriate medical treatment, the signs and symptoms of colchicine toxicity were relieved and the patient survived despite the high colchicine serum level

Most of large companies have allocated plenty of resources to knowledge management because they believe Knowledge and its management is a foundation for creating competitive advantages in organizations. However, implementing knowledge management projects in an organization requires essential organizational changes. In this paper, success factors of knowledge management are extracted from literature review on papers represented between 1997 and 2009.Then the factors are categorized and effective factors in each group are determined. Results are finalized by a panel of experts in Iran and effective and critical success factors of knowledge management are determined for Iranian organizations.Final results show that from 12 effective success factors of knowledge management, four one’s including knowledge strategy, management support, motivational encouragements and strong technical infrastructure are critical ones. It is obvious that continuous attention of management to these factors and appropriate investment are vital for the success of knowledge management in organizations

A Novel Movie Recommendation System with Iterated Truncated Singular Value Decomposition (ITSVD)

    Get PDF
Recommendation systems are one of the most essential tools for e-commerce intelligence. These systems with different types of data filtering methods are able to offer the best recommendations from a multitude of selectable items. Collaborative Filtering is the most widely used method of filtering data to make recommendations. One of the advanced models for predicting ratings in the Collaborative Filtering is the Singular Value Decomposing (SVD). In this paper, an optimized model of the film recommending system based on the SVD method is developed, which while reducing the dimensions of the matrices and the volume of computations and memory, and with iteration replacement method, has appropriate accuracy compared with other methods. For this research, a set of 100k Movie Lens datasets and Python programming have been used. Evaluation of error rate with root mean square error (RMSE) and mean absolute error (MAE) value shows a good improvement over similar methods in other references.v

    Get PDF
The emergence of a wide range of digital technologies has fundamentally changed the nature, process and outcomes of innovation. Researchers emphasize the distinction between digital innovation and traditional innovation and consider it necessary to theorize in this field due to the novelty of the concept of digital innovation. In this research, in an inductive way with the aim of conceptualizing and identifying the main dimensions of digital innovation in industrial organizations, first, using the systematic literature review approach, related articles were examined in the period from 2014 to 2022, and 48 articles were selected for analysis. Then, using the grounded theory approach, open, axial, and selective coding procedures were performed. According to this, the main dimensions of digital innovation were categorized in the form of a paradigm model include causal factors (13 categories under the 4 main dimensions of digital industrial platform and technology management, digital innovation ecosystem management, intelligent processes, digital structure and organization), contextual factors, intervening factors, strategies, and consequences. Also, by reviewing the definitions and identified dimensions, a novel definition for digital innovation in industrial organizations was presented. The resulting theoretical framework, in addition helping further conceptualization of this phenomenon, can be used in the design of organizations' digital innovation maturity models

    Get PDF
Background: The term phytobezoar refers to a trapped mass in the gastrointestinal tract caused by the agglomeration of indigestible ingested plant materials, including fibers, skins, and seeds. A persimmon phytobezoar is formed after the frequent consumption of persimmons. The clinical manifestations of persimmon phytobezoars are similar to other phytobezoars and depend on the localization and size of the trapped mass.Case Presentation: Here, we presented a 57-year-old male with persimmon phytobezoars, which finally led to small bowel obstruction. The patient was referred to the emergency room with complaints of severe abdominal pain and frequent vomiting. The patient underwent laparotomy surgery that led to the removal of a portion of his ileum. Conclusion: Overindulgence in taking persimmon can lead to formation of phytobezoar and subsequent obstruction of small intestinal. Persimmon phytobezoars are difficult to break up into pieces because of containing tannins, cellulose, hemicellulose, and lignin

    Get PDF
Introduction: Cardiovascular diseases are the leading cause of mortality worldwide. Despite the importance of early diagnosis and advances in medicine, one-third of Myocardial Infarction (MI) cases remain undiagnosed. Biomarkers are a reflection of the physiologic function and pathologic changes in the body. Saliva is a refined plasma that can replace blood to facilitate and accelerate the diagnosis process given the benefits of its collection and storage. The present study aimed to investigate the correlation between serum and saliva hs-CRP and Irisin concentration in MI patients.Materials and Methods: In this case-control study, 46 cases were selected including 24 acute MI and 22 controls. The serum and saliva samples were collected and the amount of Irisin and hs-CRP was measured in each sample in the specialized biochemistry laboratory of Mashhad Medical School. Data were analyzed using SPSS (version 22) by Pearson correlation coefficient test (P<0.05).Results: The concentration of Saliva Irisin was significantly lower in the patient group than that in the control group (P=0.021). The levels of serum and salivary hs-CRP were significantly higher in the patient group than those in the control group (for both P<0.001). The concentration of marker in saliva significantly increased as the concentration of marker increased in serum (P<0.001).Conclusion: Measurement and reduction of salivary Irisin concentrations can be a reliable criterion for diagnosing and predicting MI. The concentration of hs-CRP in saliva and serum is directly related to MI

    Get PDF
Erythema Multiforme (EM) is a hypersensitivity reaction that can be triggered by an infection or particular medications. Erythema multiforme minor (EM minor) represents localized skin lesions with minimal or no mucosal involvement. Only a few case of EM associated with risperidone are found in the scientific literature. In this case report, the administration of the risperidone resulted in the rapid appearance of skin lesions. Erythematous lesions were recovered upon discontinuation of the drug and no new skin lesion was observed. A 52-year-old male patient was admitted to the psychiatry hospital because of developing schizophrenic symptoms. At the time of admission, risperidone was added to her previous drug regimen. Two weeks later, the patient returned with a complaint of progressively increasing rashes over his body. The patient was diagnosed with EM minor. The prescribed risperidone was discontinued due to its side-effect profile and the patient’s drug regimen was changed entirely to the olanzapine, haloperidol, and topical clobetasol. At one month follow up visit, his skin lesions were satisfactorily controlled
