Globalization and unemployment in Pakistan

This study analyzes the impact of globalization on unemployment in Pakistan, using annual data for the period 1980 to 2013. Using the ARDL econometric framework, we find that the economic, political and social aspects of globalisation differ in their effects. The data suggest that political and social integration, whilst beneficial in the short run, increase the long run expected unemployment rate. Economic integration appears to be only marginally beneficial in the short run; it is significantly beneficial in the long run but cointegration with the other aspects of globalisation means that it cannot fully counteract their undesirable long-run effect

Emerging Threat: Monkeypox Virus - Unraveling the Challenges and Preparedness

Monkeypox is a DNA virus that belongs to the family of smallpox, with an incubation period of seven to 14 days and may last up to 21 days1. The Virus replicates on reaching the host cells, from where it spreads to lymph nodes and then to distant organs. The symptoms include fever, lymphadenopathy, and mucocutaneous lesions. The infection does not spread during the incubation period but may spread on being symptomatic to drying of scabs. Generalized q-integral Inequalities using (h ̄-m) and (α-m) convexities

In this paper certain inequalities are established for q-h-integrals by applying definitions of two types of convex functions. The Hermite-Hadamard inequality in different variants for q-h-integrals is given by using (h ̄-m)- and (α-m)-convex functions. Some well-known q-integral inequalities for several types of convex functions are deduced

On commutativity of quotient semirings through generalized derivations

This research article aims to study quotient MA-semirings determined by the prime ideals. Derivations are important tools to study algebraic structures. We establish some theorems on commutativity of quotient MA-semirings under certain differential identities. Results of this paper are extensions of many well known facts of this topic
