Corporate Strategic Management: A Proposal for the Use of Sustainability Performance Indicators

A sustentação do tema é uma das principais organizações, uma vez que a saúde é sustentável e alinhada com os indicadores sociais e ambientais para melhorar a imagem corporativa e a melhor vantagem competitiva. Por meio de componentes de Planejamento Estratégico de Negócios, contamos com as ferramentas de gerenciamento do Balanced Scorecard, é possível realizar as práticas do ambiente de produção com a implementação de metas e objetivos estratégicos, porém essa integração ainda não é traduzida como real meio ambiente e contraído pela atividade central da empresa dentro da perspectiva da sustentabilidade.Portanto, este estudo é baseado em uma estratégia de gestão baseada no Balanced Scorecard, que também considera os indicadores de desempenho de sustentabilidade, dentro da economia, dimensões sociais e ambientais, a fim de permitir que os gestores se desenvolvam e sigam a organização Planejamento Estratégico de Negócios e Gestão estática está funcionando no nível operacional de sustentabilidade desejável. Como metodologia, o estudo baseou-se em uma pesquisa qualitativa-quantitativa, exploratória e prescritiva. This paper aims to propose an Informational Monitoring Model that can support the business strategic management, in order to identify threats and opportunities, and strengths and weaknesses, providing the obtainment of important information for the preparation and monitoring of the Business Strategic Planning. Under the methodological aspect, it is a theoretical discussion based on literature that seeks to recover concepts related to Big Data and Intelligent Software Agent, identifying characteristics that if automated, can contribute to the process of search and analysis of relevant data and information for the preparation and monitoring of the Business Strategic Planning. Culture, education and water resources management: a literature review highlighting new research opportunities

Given that water is a conditioning and irreplaceable element to the existence of life on Earth, equally present and future populations also depend on water to ensure their continuity and economic activities, biological and sociocultural factors that develop. Based on a review of the scientific literature available in EBSCO and Web of Science databases, this study aimed to investigate and discuss the existing relationships between culture and education in the context of water resources management. We conducted a systematic literature review technique in conjunction with a bibliometric analysis with the support of Rayyan, Microsoft Excel, and VOSviewer software. For the data collection, we evaluated the sample regarding the number of annual publications, the mapping of publications, and the relations network between the keywords created to identify new trends and a research agenda. The results highlighted the complexity of the relationship between culture, education, and water resources, revealing the need to deepen and advance research on the subject. In the analysis, we identified the need to consider man as the leading actor in a new structure in which education will be the leading mobilizer for constructing a new cultural perspective on water resource management

Big Data and IoT applications: the use of Information and Communication Technologies to obtain a competitive advantage

Currently, the search for a competitive advantage is a reality in all business sectors. While several reports in the literature that address this theme, only a few discuss the relationship between competitive advantages and the implementation of Information and Communication Technologies. Thus, in the present study, we sought to investigate how the application of emerging ICTs, such as the IoT and Big Data, can provide a competitive advantage to organizations. To achieve this goal, we conducted a qualitative bibliographic survey of the literature, to identify and analyze the presently available publications on the subject of ICTs and organizational management. Additionally, we defined the elements that corroborated the conceptual construction of the results. Based on the literature, we were able to demonstrate that organizations that utilize Big Data and IoT applications can gain a competitive advantage over their competitors

Sustentabilidade e inovação: um estudo sobre a cidade de campinas - sp, brasil

Objective: To analyze the sustainability and innovation policies of the city of Campinas (SP), mapping the practices and policies of smart cities. Method: An exploratory and documentary research with a qualitative approach was carried out to elaborate this study. Main results: The study showed that Campinas has a wide range of smart city actions that aim at innovation with the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), having an important portfolio of achievements focused on technological innovation and sustainability. Relevance/originality: The study is unprecedented and important for highlighting smart city policies and strategies that can be implemented in Brazilian municipalities, as well as showcasing the city of Campinas (SP). Theoretical/methodological contributions: The study contributes to the discussion on smart cities, mainly by associating sustainability aspects with the use of urban innovation strategies.Con el rápido crecimiento urbano global, han surgido nuevas preocupaciones sobre las ciudades y sus formas de administración pública y conducta relacionadas con la sostenibilidad y las innovaciones, que son cada vez más bien consideradas a nivel mundial. En ese contexto, a través de una investigación exploratoria y documental,, este trabajo tiene como objetivo analizar la ciudad de Campinas - São Paulo y sus logros que llevaron al municipio a ganar notoriedad y lograr posiciones destacadas en los rankings, destacando varios logros relacionados con prácticas e iniciativas de sostenibilidad, digitalización y servicios inteligentes, mobilidad urbana y vocación por la tecnología.Objetivo: analisar as políticas de sustentabilidade e inovação da cidade de Campinas (SP), mapeando as práticas e políticas de cidades inteligentes. Método: Para elaboração deste estudo foi realizada uma pesquisa exploratória e documental com abordagem qualitativa. O CAMPO CIENTÍFICO DA SUSTENTABILIDADE: UM ESTUDO BIBLIOMÉTRICO

O principal desafio teórico suscitado aos autores foi saber se há na produção acadêmica elementos que justifiquem reivindicar para o campo científico da sustentabilidade sua independência e autonomia, sendo este seu principal objetivo. Metodologicamente, tratou-se de realizar uma pesquisa de base bibliográfica, de caráter exploratória e descritiva. A técnica utilizada para a coleta de dados, obtenção dos resultados e construção das respostas às questões postuladas foi a do estudo bibliométrico. Neste, o material coligido foi submetido a análise quantitativa, com levantamento das fontes primárias de informação circunscritas aos artigos publicados em periódicos científicos no recorte temporal de 2017 a 2021, compilação dos dados e metadados obtidos em cada fonte e a interpretação dos achados realizadas por meio do software de apoio para análises bibliométricas Bibliometrix. Os resultados do estudo mostraram que os autores, em termos quantitativos, mais produtivos na temática da sustentabilidade são de origem chinesa; verificou-se que Holanda, França, Reino Unido, Brasil, Portugal e Estados Unidos da América também contribuíram decisivamente para compor os 57.748 artigos analisados. Ao analisar as publicações, autores, revistas especializadas, países e instituições é possível sugerir que o campo científico da sustentabilidade já se encontra suficientemente consolidado

The main theoretical challenge posed to the authors was to find out if there are elements in academic production that justify claiming independence and autonomy for the scientific field of sustainability, which is its main objective. Methodologically, it was a matter of carrying out a bibliographical research, with an exploratory and descriptive character. The technique used for data collection, obtaining results and constructing answers to the posed questions was the bibliometric study. In this, the collected material was subjected to quantitative analysis, with a survey of the primary sources of information circumscribed to articles published in scientific journals in the time frame from 2017 to 2021, compilation of data and metadata obtained from each source and the interpretation of the findings carried out through of the support software for bibliometric analysis Bibliometrix. The results of the study showed that the authors, in quantitative terms, more productive in the theme of sustainability are of Chinese origin; it was found that the Netherlands, France, the United Kingdom, Brazil, Portugal and the United States of America also contributed decisively to compose the 57,748 articles analyzed.
