    The study was conducted to analyze how the shaping of honest character and the responsibility of learners in the process of Catholic High School Deli Murni, Medan. This study demonstrates that 1) learners can learn and work on tasks independently through learning videos and power points given by teachers and honest learners can be seen when they are active in the proven learning by asking, the teacher must respond in teaching, having teachers repeat the given material, 2) the responsibility of learners in learning seen through the zoom application meeting is seen as learners come into zoom meetings without being late, giving assignments on time, using modest clothing during the study and carrying out prayer switch schedules both before and after class. Implementation of the Catholic learning process in zoom meetings is seen when 3) teachers begin learning with a conception activity of opening prayer, greeting learners and missionaries to see readiness for lessons. 4) the teacher's core activity shares the material screen with learners and allows learners to ask about given material. 5) the end of the teacher's learning gives conclusions and duties to learners as reflections during the learning process

    Nilai-Nilai Keagamaan Katolik Dalam Pembentukan Moral Anak Di Paroki Santo Yosef Delitua

    Abstract: This study aims to describe the implementation of children's moral education by parents in Paroki Santo Yosef Delitua. The research applies descriptive qualitative method by using interview, observation and documentation by 7 (seven) rayons/areas of the Paroki Santo Yosef Delitua. The description of the implementation of moral education for children by parents at the Paroki Santo Yosef Delitua is related from several aspects. This aspect shows the implementation of children's moral education by parents. The first aspect is related to parents having an understanding and knowledge of the importance of children's moral education. Parents are the first and foremost educators of children. Thus, parents become moral role models for children. The second aspect is related to parental support to be realized in words. Furthermore, the third aspect, namely the implementation of children's moral education by parents, is reflected in daily life, namely the freedom of will, responsibility, and the linkage of moral and Christian moral norms which are manifested in everyday life. Adapun gambaran pelaksanaan pendidikan moral anak oleh orangtua di Paroki Santo Yosef Delitua terkait dari beberapa aspek. Aspek tersebut menunjukkan pelaksanaan pendidikan moral anak oleh orangtua. Aspek yang pertama terkait dengan orangtua memiliki pemahaman dan pengetahuan tentang pentingnya pendidikan moral anak. Orangtua adalah pendidik pertama dan utama anak. Dengan demikian orangtua menjadi teladan moral anak. Aspek kedua terkait dengan dukungan orangtua untuk direalisasikan dalam wujud nyata bukan hanya kata-kata saja. Selanjutnya, aspek ketiga yakni pelaksanaan pendidikan moral anak oleh orangtua tercermin dalam kehidupan sehari-hari yakni kebebasan kehendak, tanggungjawab, serta keterkaitan norma moral dan moral kristiani diwujudnyatakan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari

    The objective of this study is to describe the implementation of children's faith education by parents in Paroki Santo Yosef Delitua. This study applies the descriptive qualitative method by  using interview, observation and documentation. Thus parents become role models in developing children's faith. Although the implementation is recognized by the parents, it has not been carried out optimally and has not covered all the activities of family members. Lacking time of parents and chilhdren to sit together from morning to evening as the most factor that make the implementation of the children's faith education does not run well.  However, it can be concluded that parents have understood the purpose of Catholic marriage where husband and wife are being together in the sacrament of marriage for the purpose of birth and education of children. Children who are believed as the crown of God must be guided and educated according to the Catholic faith. The family is the first and foremost educator of children. Thus, parents carry out their duties and responsibilities as a Catholic family. Penelitian ini bertujuan menggambarkan pelaksanaan pendidikan iman anak oleh orangtua di Paroki Santo Yosef Delitua. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan menggunakan teknik wawancara, pengamatan dan dokumentasi di tujuh wilayah Paroki Santo Yosef Delitua. Orangtua menjadi teladan dalam pengembangan iman anak. Pelaksanaan pendidikan iman anak tersebut terwujud dalam bentuk kegiatan berdoa bersama yang ditandai dengan tanda salib sebagai orang katolik, mendengarkan nyayian rohani dan membaca buku rohani serta kitab suci, memfasilitasi bakat anak serta berperan aktif dalam kegiatan rohani di gereja, sosial gereja dan retret (pedalaman iman) orang muda katolik. Meskipun pada pelaksanaanya diakui oleh orangtua belum terlaksana secara maksimal dan belum mencakup pada keseluruhan aktifitas anggota keluarga. Faktor penyebabnya adalh kurangnya waktu bersama misalnya untuk berdoa bersama. Orangtua telah memahami tujuan perkawinan katolik dimana suami dan istri dipersatukan dalam sakramen perkawinan untuk tujuan kelahiran dan pendidikan anak. Anak yang merupakan mahkota dari Tuhan wajib dibimbing dan dididik sesuai dengan iman katolik. Keluarga merupakan pendidik pertama dan utama anak. Dengan demikian, orangtua menjalankan tugas dan tanggungjawabnya sebagai keluarga katolik
