PENDIDIKAN MULTIKULTUR DALAM PEMBELAJARAN PENDIDIKAN AGAMA KATOLIK DAN BUDI PEKERTI SEBAGAI UPAYA MENGHARGAI KEBERAGAMAN SISWA KELAS VII E SMP NEGERI 13 PONTIANAK
This study aims to describe the learning process and inhibiting factors of Multicultural Education in Catholic Religious Education and Character Education learning in Class VII E of SMP Negeri 13 Pontianak. Using a qualitative descriptive method with interview and documentation techniques, the study involved one Catholic Religious Education teacher, four students, and one principal as data sources. The results of the study indicate that multicultural education has been integrated into learning even though there is no specific theme about multicultural education. Teachers insert values of respect for differences in gender, ethnicity, culture, and religion in the learning process. Teachers also act as role models by showing an attitude of respecting differences inside and outside the classroom. The main inhibiting factors are the lack of facilities and infrastructure such as narrow rooms, the unavailability of tables, chairs, blackboards, and learning books, and the lack of socialization activities about multicultural education. This study recommends improving facilities and infrastructure and the intensity of socialization to optimize multicultural education in schools
TBUKAE TABUA SEBAGAI SIMBOL EKARISTI: INKULTURASI TRADISI ATONI PAH METO DALAM LITURGI KAMIS PUTIH DI LINGKUNGAN SANTO ALEXANDER OELNITEP
This article examines Tbukae Tabua, a communal eating ritual in the Atoni Pah Meto culture, as an inculturated expression of the Eucharist during the Holy Thursday liturgy. Using Alfred Schutz’s social phenomenology, this qualitative field study explores the subjective experience of Catholic communities in Oelnitep, who perceive the shared meal not merely as a cultural practice but as a spiritual event rooted in their Lebenswelt. Data were collected through interviews and field observations during Holy Week 2025. The findings have indicated that Tbukae Tabua has become a living symbol of faith: reinforcing relationships, embodying mutual love, and enriching the understanding of Christ’s sacrificial love. PERSEPSI KAUM MUDA TENTANG HIDUP RELIGIUS DAN KAITANNYA DENGAN ANJURAN PAUS FRANSISKUS DALAM DOKUMEN CHRISTUS VIVIT
Penelitian ini berangkat dari permasalahan yang dihadapi Gereja Katolik saat ini, yaitu rendahnya panggilan hidup beragama di kalangan generasi muda. Kekhawatiran penulis ini tentu beralasan karena hanya sedikit generasi muda yang tertarik dengan gaya hidup monastik yang bagi mereka monoton dan membosankan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui sejauh mana minat dan minat generasi muda terhadap kehidupan beragama. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggali data dari responden yang merupakan siswa SMA Negeri 1 Mempawah Hulu. Kuesioner penelitian ini dibuat mengikuti nilai-nilai yang dianjurkan oleh Paus Fransiskus dalam Dokumen Chistus Vivit. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 84,54% responden tertarik untuk mempelajari lebih lanjut tentang kehidupan beragama. Meskipun secara umum mereka tertarik dengan kehidupan monastik, namun faktanya gaya hidup yang mereka pilih sangat berbeda dengan gaya hidup religius, hanya 67,94% pilihan mereka yang menjawab benar. Selain itu, terdapat hal yang menjadi tantangan bagi mahasiswa, mengapa mereka tidak memilih kehidupan beragama, umumnya karena tidak ingin meninggalkan teman dan keluarga, namun demikian 71,24% responden bersedia menghadapi tantangan tersebut. Penelitian ini masih mempunyai banyak kekurangan, antara lain metode analisis data yang digunakan, serta keterbatasan waktu dan jarak sehingga menyebabkan proses pengumpulan data terkesan terburu-buru. Saran bagi peneliti selanjutnya agar menggunakan metode penelitian yang bervariasi, baik teknik analisis data maupun metode. Peneliti selanjutnya juga disarankan untuk melihat peran orang tua dalam menentukan pilihan masa depan anak
UPAYA MENGHADAP PEMBELAJARAN 4.0 DAN SOCIETY 5.0 PERSPEKTIF KI HADJAR DEWANTARA
This study aims to explore Ki Hadjar Dewantara's thoughts on addressing the challenges of Learning 4.0 and Society 5.0, as well as their relevance in the context of modern education. The research method used is a literature study with a qualitative approach, analyzing ideas about the Fourth Industrial Revolution, Society 5.0, and Dewantara's concepts through primary and secondary sources. The findings indicate that the concept of education based on learning freedom and a balance between technology and humanistic values remains relevant in the digital era and technology-based society. This study is expected to enrich educational discourse by emphasizing the importance of building character and culture in technology-based learning processes, thereby producing learners who are not only digitally intelligent but also have a strong sense of nationalism and character
MOTIVASI BELAJAR BAHASA INGGRIS PADA MAHASISWA SEKOLAH TINGGI PASTORAL SANTO PETRUS KEUSKUPAN ATAMBUA
This article describes the motivation to learn English for students of Saint Peter Pastoral College of Atambua Diocese, where there is still a mindset that they are prepared to become Catholic Religious Education teachers, not English teachers. As a result, English, which is a unifying language in the international world, is less attractive to students. The purpose of this study is to determine the level of motivation to learn English for students at Saint Peter Pastoral College of Atambua Diocese. This study apply the descriptive qualitative research design. The subjects of this study were several batches of students at the Saint Peter Pastoral College of Atambua Diocese consists of 100 students from four decanates (Belu, Malaka, Kefamenanu, and Mena) in the Atambua Diocese area and 25 students represent each decanate as samples. The data shows that there were 25 (100%) respondents from Belu decanate who found English is interesting, they get motivated to learn and use it to interact, 24 (94%) students from Malaka decanate, 19 (76%) students from Kefamenanu decanate and 19 (76%) students from Mena decanate who found English as an interesting subject to learn. As conclusion, the sample of 25 students from the Belu decanate (100%) all have higher motivation in learning English and can apply it in daily communication
MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN BAHASA ANAK USIA DINI 5-6 TAHUN (Studi tentang Pra dan Post Penerapan Metode Labatu di Kelompok Bermain Santo Vincentius A Paulo Kupang)
This research aims to evaluate children's language abilities before and after implementing the Labatu method, identify supporting and inhibiting factors, and measure the effectiveness of the method. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach to describe the influence of the Labatu method in improving the language skills of young children aged 5-6 years in the Santo Vincentius A Paulo Kupang Playgroup. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation, and data analysis. The research results showed that before implementing the Labatu method, children experienced limited vocabulary, difficulty in forming sentences, and low understanding of expressive and receptive language. On the other hand, after effectively implementing the Labatu method, it was proven that children's language skills had significantly increased in terms of vocabulary, speaking ability and understanding of instructions. This method is considered to really support holistic learning, creating a pleasant learning environment and encouraging social interaction as well as the active role of parents and teachers in supporting the language development of children aged 5-6 years at the Santo Vincentius A Paulo Kupang Playgroup
PENGARUH PENERAPAN UNDANG-UNDANG PERLINDUNGAN ANAK TERHADAP PEMBERIAN PUNISHMENT KEPADA PESERTA DIDIK DI SMAK SINT CAROLUS KUPANG
This study aims to examine the effect of the implementation of the Child Protection Law on the practice of giving punishment at Sint Carolus Catholic High School, Kupang. This study uses a quantitative method with a descriptive correlational approach. The results of data analysis using descriptive techniques indicate that the implementation of the Child Protection Law at Sint Carolus Catholic High School, Kupang is very good (93.13%) and the giving of punishment is very good (90.21%). In addition, the results of a simple linear regression analysis show a significant positive effect between the implementation of the Child Protection Law and the giving of punishment (regression coefficient = 0.922, p < 0.05). Even though there is an effect between these two variables, the most important thing to note is that the use of punishment in education must be educational and not exceed the limits regulated by the Child Protection Law. This finding illustrates that although punishment at Sint Carolus Catholic High School, Kupang is implemented well, it is necessary to continue to monitor it so as not to violate children's rights. The implications of this study suggest the need for a more careful approach in giving punishment in order to be in accordance with the objectives of educating and protecting children
PERAN KATEKIS VOLUNTEER MENURUT DEKRIT APOSTOLICAM ACTUOCITATEM ARTIKEL 6 DALAM HIDUP MENGGEREJA ORANG MUDA KATOLIK DI PAROKI SANTO FRANSISKUS ASISI MAMSENA
Volunteer catechists are people who voluntarily become proclaimers of God's word, people who are very concerned about the development of the Church. On the basis of that call, all members of God's people have the right and obligation to participate in the duties of the Church. The focus of this research is on volunteer catechists, especially in the Church's five duties, namely Koinonia or living in fellowship, Liturgya or living in prayer/worship, Diakonia or living in service, Kerygma or living to preach, Martirya or living to give testimony. This study uses a qualitative descriptive design with a field study design, by obtaining data through observation, interviews and documentation. The findings show that in St. Francis of Assisi Mamsena Parish, there is a shortage of catechist workers who hinder the development of the Church through various existing activities, such as choir training, worship in the ward, SEKAMI activities, faith building and so on. So OMK is not interested and has no awareness of his duties as a member of the Church. Thus, volunteer catechists answer existing problems with all their abilities and knowledge such as being able to train choirs, lead worship without priests, build faith with SEKAMI children, make pilgrimages with OMK, become movers in the environment, coordinators in several activities in the Church. So that OMK can emulate and emulate volunteer catechists as members of the Church who are able to carry out the Church's pancatask.
UPAYA PEMBINA DALAM MENINGKATKAN PARTISIPASI AKTIF HIDUP MENGGEREJA ORANG MUDA KATOLIK DI PAROKI ST. YOHANES PAULUS II NAMO PECAWIR-TUNTUNGAN
This research examines the efforts of coaches to increase active participation in OMK church life at the Namo Pecawir Paroki St. John Paul II Namo Pecawir-Tuntungan station. The purpose of this study was to find out the efforts of coaches to increase the active participation of young Catholics in church life. This type of research is qualitative research. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews and documentation. Informants are divided into three parts, namely key informants, main informants and additional informants. The number of informants in this study amounted to 6 people, of which 1 coach, 1 coordinator, 1 church administrator and 3 young Catholics. The result is that the coach's efforts to increase active participation in OMK church life have been carried out and are running well. The efforts of OMK coaches and church life have been good, but in practice it should be further improved and developed again in various activities. Especially in mutual cooperation activities, environmental prayer, liturgical officers, and deepening of faith. The presence of OMK must be further enhanced to support the development of church life. The coach's efforts in providing direction, accompanying, and becoming a friend for OMK are further enhanced so that they have a good influence on the development of OMK

Education is a conscious effort by humans to shape themselves to become quality human beings. This means that education is an important element in life that humans must pursue. The fact that education is an important element means that education must receive special attention from humans themselves. The Indonesian people realize the importance of education. The National Education System is one of the realities found in Indonesia. This system firmly, clearly and systematically regulates all the dynamics of Indonesian education. The existence of the Education System needs to be realized that this system is a legal product. Furthermore, the National Education System is viewed from various perspectives, one of which is the view of modern educational philosophy. Modern educational philosophy seeks to see the extent to which the National Education System exists. The aim of this article is to examine the existence of a national education system within the framework of modern educational philosophy. The research method used is library research. The data collection technique used was to examine all the sources the author obtained in the form of book texts and research journals. The results of the discussion are a study of the National Education System as a legal product. Another result is a study of educational philosophy, the formulation of educational philosophy and the relevance of the modern educational philosophy paradigm to the National Education System.
