Switching a spin-valve back and forth by current-induced domain wall motion
We have studied the current-induced displacement of a domain wall (DW) in the
permalloy (Py) layer of a Co/Cu/Py spin valve structure at zero and very small
applied field. The displacement is in opposite direction for opposite dc
currents, and the current density required to move DW is only of the order of
10^6 A/cm^2. For H = 3 Oe, a back and forth DW motion between two stable
positions is observed. We also discuss the effect of an applied field on the DW

Reconstructing Supersymmetry at ILC/LHC
Coherent analyses of experimental results from LHC and ILC will allow us to
draw a comprehensive and precise picture of the supersymmetric particle sector.
Based on this platform the fundamental supersymmetric theory can be
reconstructed at the high scale which is potentially close to the Planck scale.
This procedure will be reviewed for three characteristic examples: minimal
supergravity as the paradigm; a left-right symmetric extension incorporating
intermediate mass scales; and a specific realization of string effective

The Heavy Quark Form Factors at Two Loops
We compute the two-loop QCD corrections to the heavy quark form factors in
case of the vector, axial-vector, scalar and pseudo-scalar currents up to
second order in the dimensional parameter . These terms are
required in the renormalization of the higher order corrections to these form

Reconstruction of Fundamental SUSY Parameters
We summarize methods and expected accuracies in determining the basic
low-energy SUSY parameters from experiments at future ee linear
colliders in the TeV energy range, combined with results from LHC. In a second
step we demonstrate how, based on this set of parameters, the fundamental
supersymmetric theory can be reconstructed at high scales near the grand
unification or Planck scale. These analyses have been carried out for minimal
supergravity [confronted with GMSB for comparison], and for a string effective

Heavy quark form factors at two loops in perturbative QCD
We present the results for heavy quark form factors at two-loop order in
perturbative QCD for different currents, namely vector, axial-vector, scalar
and pseudo-scalar currents, up to second order in the dimensional
regularization parameter. We outline the necessary computational details,

Doramectin e levamizole no controle dos helmintos de bovinos no início da estação seca.
Sessenta bovinos da raça Canchim, com idade aproximada de 15 meses e mantidos em pastagem de Brachiaria decumbens Slapf, foram distribuídos aleatoriamente em três tratamentos (l) com 20 animais cada, para controle de nematódeos gastrintestinais (TI- controle; Tj; Dorameclin, ml(/50kg/peso vivo, correspondendo a 200,ug/kg; e TJ Levamizole e ml(/40kg/peso vivo, equivalente a 3, 75mg do princípio ativo por quilograma de peso) A aplicação foi feita via parenteral, Subcutânea, sendo as infecções verminóticas obtidas naturalmente a pasto, O experimento foi realizado na fazenda Canchim, base física do Centro de Pesquisa de Pecuária do Sudeste (CPPSE), em São Carlos, SP, de abril a ,junho de 1995. Foram avaliados o peso corporal (PC), número de ovos por grama de fezes (OPG) e volume corpuscular médio (VCM), por seis períodos (P): 0, 14, 28, 42, 56 e 70 dias pós-dosificação. O modelo de análise incluiu, além da média, os efeitos de T: de P e da interação T x P. A partir dos 14 dias de avaliação, 0 Doraqmectin foi o que apresentou o menor OPG (P0,05) entre esses dois grupos a partir dos 42 dias. Os animais tratados apresentaram ganho de peso semelhantes (P>0,05) até o 42. dia Quanto ao controle, observou-se redução no ganho de peso (P0,05) entre si em toda a fase experimental, observando-se no entanto, valores inferiores (P,0,05) desta variável a partir dos 28 dias no grupo controle
Rapid prototyping and tooling in the manufacture of mould elements for large parts
In the last two decades the advances in rapid prototyping and tooling (RPT) technologies made possible the use of materials alternative to steel in some mould components. They also have allowed novel fabrication strategies and new ways of thinking on the production of injection moulds for short series of plas-tics parts. These technologies induced a new generation of toolmaking techniques. In the scope of the devel-opment project Hybridmould 21 the pros and cons of some RPT technologies were studied to fabricate moulding blocks and inserts for hybrid injection moulds for large plastics parts. Essentially, the studies aimed at finding the best solution for quick production and compliance with specific product requirements, such as complex features, complex cooling layout and large size (around 1 m2) in short production series.
