Protection of Communal Intellectual Property Rights Through Geographical Indication System

This study aims to protect the original product/goods related to geographical conditions due to natural and/or human factors to be registered for protection through a Geographical Indication system that can be owned by the community communally. The research method used is normative juridical using secondary data. The law can be one of the tools to protect the regime of Geographical Indications by way of registration as regulated in Law Number 20 of 2016 concerning Marks and Geographical Indications. Article 53 reads: "Geographical Indications are protected after Geographical Indications are registered by the Minister". The main function of law is to protect the interests that exist in society. According to Roscou Pound, there are three interests that must be protected by law, namely: public interest, individual interest and interest of personality. Although most intellectual property rights protect individual property rights and individual interests, geographical indications are one that can be categorized as communal property rights

Urgensi Transfer Teknologi Melalui Lisensi Paten Dalam Perspektif Hukum di Indonesia

Indonesia sebagai negara berkembang membutuhkan investasi yang sesuai dengan perkembangan teknologi untuk mendukung transformasi perekonomian nasional dan mendukung alih teknologi untuk meningkatkan kualitas penguasaan dan pemanfaatan teknologi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa penting pelaksanaan transfer teknologi khususnya melalui paten dalam perspektif hukum positif di Indonesia pasca perubahan regulasi terhadap pelaksanaan transfer teknologi melalui lisensi paten setelah diberlakukannya omnibus law melalui Undang-Undang Nomor 11 Tahun 2020 Tentang Cipta Kerja. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian yuridis normatif dengan menggunakan data sekunder dengan teknik analisis kualitatif. Pendekatan peraturan perundang-undangan (statue approach) dilakukan dengan menelaah perubahan Pasal 20 dalam Undang-Undang Nomor 13 Tahun 2016 Tentang Paten yang dihapuskan melalui omnibus law. Ketentuan tersebut menghapuskan kewajiban paten yang terdaftar di Indonesia dalam membuat produk atau menggunakan proses dengan menunjang transfer teknilogi, penyerapan investasi dan/ atau penyediaan lapangan kerja. Meskipun terdapat keringanan yang diatur dalam Pasal 3 Permenkumham Nomor 39 Tahun 2018 bahwa pemegang paten diberikan jangka waktu 36 (tiga puluh enam) bulan sebelum pihak lain meminta lisensi wajib

Telah dilakukan penelitian tentang penetapan kadar campuran parasetamol dan kofein dalam sediaan tablet yang beredar dengan metoda spektrofotometri UV multikomponen. Spektrum dari kedua zat ini saling tumpang tindih satu sama lain sehingga dapat diukur dalam bentuk campuran dengan mengeliminasi dua persamaan. Tujuan Penulisan Laporan Akhir ini adalah untuk membuat Aplikasi Notifikasi Jadwal jam kerja dan jadwal Roster karyawan pada PT.Dizamatra Powerindo Kabupaten Lahat Berbasis Website Aplikasi ini dibangun untuk mengelola data informasi jam kerja dan roster karyawan sehingga karyawan dapat melihat informasi tersebut melalui email mereka masing-masing.proses tersebut dijelaskan pada laporan ini dalam bentuk desain rancangan menggunakan Usecase Diagram, Activity Diagram, Class Diagram dan Sequence Diagram yang dibangun dengan metode Waterfall dengan bahasa pemrograman PHP menggunakan Framework Codeigniter dan database MySQL . Dengan dibuatnya aplikasi ini diharapkan dapat mempermudah admin memberikan informasi mengenai jadwal jam kerja dan jadwal roster karyawan dan memudahkan karyawan dalam mendapatkan informasi mengenai jadwal jam kerja dan rosternya

Trends Research and Publication of Master Students in Science Education Program

College students' creativity can be seen based on the novelty of research. The main objective of this study was to analyze trends research and publicationof the master of science education at the State University of Surabaya. The descriptive qualitative method used  in this study. The data of this study collected by analyse the last five years research abstracts from 2015 to 2020. The data obtained were analyzed using a total sampling technique. Research trends and publication in the Master of Science education at the State University of Surabaya are mostly researching about the development of learning tools with qualitative-quantitative methods and research topics about innovative learning in the field of thinking skills. Some college student research uses curriculum topics, learning media, and assessments. While the publication trend is obtained by analyzing the publication of student articles resulting from the thesis based on the analysis of publications in the category of international and national journals. Department heads need policy recommendations in making decisions to improve research trends and college student publications. current study result implies that research trends in the Master of Science education at the State University of Surabaya require further innovation
