The effect of supersymmetric CP phases on Chargino-Pair Production via Drell-Yan Process at the LHC
We compute the rates for pp annihilation into chargino-pairs via Drell-Yan
process taking into account the effects of supersymmetric soft phases, at
proton-proton collider. In particular, the phase of the mu parameter gains
direct accessibility via the production of dissimilar charginos. The phases of
the trilinear soft masses do not have a significant effect on the cross

Fermi Surface of CrV across the Quantum Critical Point
We have measured de Haas-van Alphen oscillations of CrV, , at high fields for samples on both sides of the quantum critical
point at . For all samples we observe only those oscillations
associated with a single small hole band with magnetic breakdown orbits of the
reconstructed Fermi surface evident for . The absence of oscillations
from Fermi surface sheets most responsible for the spin density wave (SDW) in
Cr for is further evidence for strong fluctuation scattering of these
charge carriers well into the paramagnetic regime. We find no significant mass
enhancement of the carriers in the single observed band at any . An
anomalous field dependence of the dHvA signal for our crystal at
particular orientations of the magnetic field is identified as due to magnetic
breakdown that we speculate results from a field induced SDW transition at high

Factorization and polarization in linearized gravity
We investigate all the four-body graviton interaction processes:
, , and with
as an elementary particle of spin less than two in the context of linearized
gravity except the spin-3/2 case. We show explicitly that gravitational gauge
invariance and Lorentz invariance cause every four-body graviton scattering
amplitude to be factorized. We explore the implications of this factorization
property by investigating polarization effects through the covariant density

Shot Noise and Full Counting Statistics from Non-equilibrium Plasmons in Luttinger-Liquid Junctions
We consider a quantum wire double junction system with each wire segment
described by a spinless Luttinger model, and study theoretically shot noise in
this system in the sequential tunneling regime. We find that the
non-equilibrium plasmonic excitations in the central wire segment give rise to
qualitatively different behavior compared to the case with equilibrium
plasmons. In particular, shot noise is greatly enhanced by them, and exceeds
the Poisson limit. We show that the enhancement can be explained by the
emergence of several current-carrying processes, and that the effect disappears
if the channels effectively collapse to one due to, {\em e.g.}, fast plasmon

Cohomological non-rigidity of generalized real Bott manifolds of height 2
We investigate when two generalized real Bott manifolds of height 2 have
isomorphic cohomology rings with Z/2 coefficients and also when they are
diffeomorphic. It turns out that cohomology rings with Z/2 coefficients do not
distinguish those manifolds up to diffeomorphism in general. This gives a
counterexample to the cohomological rigidity problem for real toric manifolds
posed in \cite{ka-ma08}. We also prove that generalized real Bott manifolds of
height 2 are diffeomorphic if they are homotopy equivalent
Current-voltage scaling of a Josephson-junction array at irrational frustration
Numerical simulations of the current-voltage characteristics of an ordered
two-dimensional Josephson junction array at an irrational flux quantum per
plaquette are presented. The results are consistent with an scaling analysis
which assumes a zero temperature vortex glass transition. The thermal
correlation length exponent characterizing this transition is found to be
significantly different from the corresponding value for vortex-glass models in
disordered two-dimensional superconductors. This leads to a current scale where
nonlinearities appear in the current-voltage characteristics decreasing with
temperature roughly as in contrast with the behavior expected

Study of CP Property of the Higgs at a Photon Collider using
We study possible effects of CP violation in the Higgs sector on
production at a -collider. These studies are performed in a
model-independent way in terms of six form-factors which
parametrize the CP mixing in the Higgs sector, and a strategy for their
determination is developed. We observe that the angular distribution of the
decay lepton from produced in this process is independent of any CP
violation in the vertex and hence best suited for studying CP mixing in
the Higgs sector. Analytical expressions are obtained for the angular
distribution of leptons in the c.m. frame of the two colliding photons for a
general polarization state of the incoming photons. We construct combined
asymmetries in the initial state lepton (photon) polarization and the final
state lepton charge. They involve CP even ('s) and odd ('s) combinations
of the mixing parameters. We study limits up to which the values of and
, with only two of them allowed to vary at a time, can be probed by
measurements of these asymmetries, using circularly polarized photons. We use
the numerical values of the asymmetries predicted by various models to
discriminate among them. We show that this method can be sensitive to the
loop-induced CP violation in the Higgs sector in the MSSM.Comment: 15 pages, 9 figures added one referenc
CP Violation in Tau Slepton Pair Production at Muon Colliders
We discuss in detail signals for CP violation in the Higgs boson and
tau-slepton sectors through the production processes , where label the two
slepton mass eigenstates in the minimal supersymmetric standard model. We
assume that the soft breaking parameters of third generation sfermions contain
CP violating phases, which induce CP violation in the Higgs sector through
quantum corrections. We classify all the observables for probing CP violation
in the Higgs boson and slepton sectors. These observables depend on the
initial muon beam polarization, where we include transverse polarization
states. If the heavy Higgs bosons can decay into tau slepton pairs, a complete
determination of the CP properties of the neutral Higgs boson and
--slepton systems is possible. The interference between the Higgs boson
and gauge boson contributions could also provide a powerful method for probing
CP violation, if transversely polarized muon beams are available. We show in
detail how to directly measure CP violation in the tau slepton system, under
the assumption that the neutral Higgs mixing angles are determined through the

The neutralino projector formalism for complex SUSY parameters
We present a new formalism describing the neutralino physics in the context
of the minimal supersymmetric model (MSSM), where CP violation induced by
complex and parameters is allowed. The formalism is based on the
construction of neutralino projectors, and can be directly generalized to
non-minimal SUSY models involving any number of neutralinos. It extends a
previous work applied to the real SUSY parameter case. In MSSM, the method
allows to describe all physical observables related to a specific neutralino,
in terms of its
CP eigenphase and three complex numbers called its "reduced projector
elements".
As the experimental knowledge on the neutralino-chargino sectors will be
being accumulated, the problem of extracting the various SUSY parameters will
arise. Motivated by this, we consider various scenarios concerning the
quantities that could be first measured. Analytical disentangled expressions
determining the related SUSY parameters from them, are then derived, which also
