Autorka przedstawia modelowe ujęcie roli pedagogów w opiece logopedycznej. Czyni to z punktu widzenia czynnego zawodowo logopedy i nauczyciela akademickiego. Jednocześnie prezentuje opinie studentów kierunku pedagogika w tej kwestii. Na kanwie powyższych rozważań ustosunkowuje się do treści logopedycznych w kształceniu pedagogów. Wychowanie postrzega jako pomoc w rozwoju bio-psycho-społecznym, które odnosi się do człowieka od narodzin po starość. A więc wychowanie to także pomoc w rozwoju języka i doskonaleniu umiejętności językowych człowieka na różnych etapach życia. Secondary speech therapy prophylaxis aimed at children with low birth weight – a part of research

In the paper, the results of the study of secondary speech therapy prophylaxis aimed at children with low birth weight (preterm babies and babies born at term but with intrauterine growth retardation). The study group consisted of 187 children with a birth weight below 2500 g. Low birth weight is one of the risk factors for various developmental disorders, including disorders of the development of language communication. That is why early identification of the first symptoms of language acquisition (speech development) disorders is so important. Speech therapy care in the opinions of parents of children with impaired speech development. Reports from the study

Speech therapy care is primarily the diagnosis and therapy of speech disorders. Properly functioning speech therapy care allows you to meet the needs of people of different ages and with different types of speech disorders. The article gives the results of own research on the assessment of the availability and quality of speech therapy care. The test group were parents of children between the age of infancy till adolescence period who have participated in the speech therapy. The questionnaire survey was used to conduct the research. The survey was voluntary and anonymous. The research was conducted on the territory of Lodz and in the surrounding area. Speech screening examinations as an example of activity in the field of speech‑language therapy

Logopaedics prevention consists in the prevention and early detection of speech disorders to provide adequate therapeutic action, limiting or eliminating the negative effects of language‑related abnormalities. As a part of speech‑language prophylaxis the speech‑language screening is provided. It aims at identifying persons requiring in‑depth speech diagnosis. The article presents the results of speech screening of pupils of grades I–III in one of primary schools in Łódź. Some practical conclusions drawn from the research are also presented.Profilaktyka logopedyczna polega na zapobieganiu, a także wczesnym wykrywaniu zaburzeń mowy, by wprowadzić adekwatne działania terapeutyczne, ograniczające lub eliminujące negatywne skutki nieprawidłowości w zakresie komunikacji językowej. W ramach profilaktyki logopedycznej prowadzi się badania przesiewowe mowy, których celem jest wytypowanie osób wymagających pogłębionej diagnozy logopedycznej. W artykule zaprezentowano wyniki badań przesiewowych mowy uczniów klas I–III jednej ze szkół podstawowych w Łodzi. Voice Disorders and the Covid–19 Pandemic

The article is devoted to voice disorders as resulting from the COVID–19 disease. The author presents the pathomechanism of dysphonia in people infected with the SARS‑CoV–2 coronavirus. She discusses the most common symptoms of voice disability as a result of this pathogen infection and outlines speech therapy diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. The author also draws attention to the risk of vocal abnormalities linked to COVID–19, namelyremote working that became widespread during the pandemic period and the accompanying increased vocal effort.Artykuł poświęcono zaburzeniom głosu w następstwie choroby COVID–19. SLI or DLD? Changes in Terminology of Speech Disorders with Ambiguous Etiology in the Context of Polish Educational Law

The article has been devoted to speech disorders of unclear ambiguous cause. There are many alternative terms for this type of language communication disorder in the literature. One of them is SLI (specific language impairment). According to the arrangements of international experts it is recommended to depart from SLI to DLD (developmental language disorder). The article presents the rationale behind this solution. At the same time, the consequences of the lack of terms in Polish educational law that define speech disorders occurring without a clear cause were discussed.Artykuł poświęcono zaburzeniom mowy o niejasnej/niejednoznacznej przyczynie. W literaturze przedmiotu funkcjonuje wiele określeń tego typu zaburzeń komunikacji językowej. Jednym z nich jest SLI (specyficzne zaburzenie rozwoju językowego).
