Introduction: Marital satisfaction affected mental and physical health, life satisfaction, career success, and social communications, and is one the most important indices of life satisfaction. Among all the factors relating to the marriage, the marital adjustment has a special place in the study of marriage and family relationships. Identity development is conceptualized as a process beginning in adolescence and peaking in the early adulthood period during which one explores and commits to possibilities in interpersonal relationship. During this time, young adults are determining the importance of parental, marital, and career life roles. The aim of this study was to determine the relationship between identity styles with marital satisfaction and identification of predicting factors on marital satisfaction centers of city councils of Tehran, Iran. Methods: This was a correlational cross-sectional study. The population includes all couples referring to city councils in the 10th and 11th zones. Participants' duration of marriage was between 1 and 10 years. In this study, a total of 200 couples were selected using convenience cluster sampling, and the questionnaires were given and distributed to them in health homes, cultural centers of Tehran municipal. Tools of study were Enrich marital satisfaction questionnaire and Identity Style questionnaire. Questionnaires were collected and data were entered in SPSS software ver. 18 and analyzed. Descriptive tests, Pearson correlation test, and Multivariate Regression Test were used for description and analysis of data. Results: The mean age of samples in this study was 31.60 years old with standard deviation of 5.12 years (Ranged between 20- 44 years). Demographic data had normal distribution (P<0.05). One-way ANOVA analysis showed that there was significant relationship between the age of men and marital satisfaction (P= 0.01). Univariate Linear Model showed that there was no significant correlation between literacy (P=0.908) and occupation (P=0.629) with marital satisfaction. There was a significant relationship between marital satisfaction with normative and commitment styles (P<0.05) but there was no significant relation between this and informative and diffuse/avoidant styles (P>0.05). Linear regression analysis showed that only commitment style of identity can predict the marital satisfaction significantly

Floods are among the hazards that affect millions of people around the world every year. The northern region of Iran has also faced numerous floods in recent decades and has caused a lot of damage to urban and rural areas. The northern regions of Iran have also experienced numerous floods in recent decades and have caused extensive damage to urban and rural areas. This study aimed to prepare a map of flood-prone areas by fuzzy method and to validate various maps downstream of the Neka River catchment in eastern Mazandaran. After the flood of 2019, the location of the areas that were affected by the flood was recorded in points. Data were randomly divided into two parts: training and validation 70% and 30%. Based on 70% of the observational data, fuzzy relationships of different information layers were determined, including elevation, slope, distance from the river, precipitation, lithology, and land use. After fuzzification of layers, using 9 different fuzzy operators, the layers overlapped and flood hazard maps were obtained. The validity of the resulting maps was performed using 30% of flooded points and the same number of non-flooded points by ROC method and Cohen's Kappa index. The results showed that operators of fuzzy Gamma 0.9, 0.8, and 0.7, had the highest accuracy of respectively. According to the map of the fuzzy Gamma 0.9, 15.7% of the area is in the very high and high class and 30% of rural and urban areas of the catchment are in these danger zones

An Investigation into the Relationship between Knowledge Management Infrastructures and Organizational Intelligence in Research Centers of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology

This study investigates the relationship between knowledge management infrastructures and organizational intelligence in two research centers of Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, namely Iranian Research Institute for Information Science and Technology and Institute for Humanities and Cultural Studies. The research is a survey in descriptive manner. Using two validated questionnaires related to knowledge management infrastructures and organizational intelligence, the research was conducted among 175 faculty members and staff of the two research centers. Collected data were then analyzed by SPSS and PLS software. Factor analysis showed a high factor loading related to the two main variables and all of the items indicated goodness of fit of the questions. Variance mean ratio between two variables was higher than 0.5 indicating a high convergent validity. R squares for organizational intelligence showed fitness of structural equating model. Goodness of fit for Iranian Research Institute for Information Science and Technology was 0.642 lower than Institute for Humanities and Cultural Studies with 0.645. Path analysis indicated a significant relationship between two variables by 95% degree of confidence accepting the two research hypothesis. By comparison, knowledge management infrastructures was more correlated with organizational intelligence in Institute for Humanities and Cultural Studies than Iranian Research Institute for Information Science and Technology. Knowledge management infrastructures in Iranian Research Institute for Information Science and Technology predicted organizational intelligence by 0.826 percent while in the Institute for Humanities and Cultural Studies by 0.848 percent

Iran’s Representation in news Discourse: A Corpus-driven Analysis of NOW Database

    Get PDF
The main thrust of the present study was to explore the ideological perspective based on which the monolithic word “Iran” was presented in NOW (News on the Web) as the largest online news corpora. Having resorted to both corpus linguistics and critical discourse analysis, the word “Iran” was explored in terms of collocates, their categories, context and micro- as well as macro-discursive structures inspired by Van Dijk’s (2006) model. It was shown that most of the collocates have indexed “Iran” mainly in relation to “conflict” and “violence” while others were, in effect, supporting the threatening role played by Iran in the middle-east and in the world. The study also revealed that the representation of “Iran” is in line with “other-negative representation” ideology employed unanimously by the news on web (NOW) which attempts to represent, reproduce and control the way “Iran” is depicted by manipulating lexical, structural, semantic and syntactic features

The Correction of a Void Contract in Jurisprudence and Law of Iran

    Get PDF
"Voidness" is a status on which no legal effect is exercised according to the law. Although this status is contrary to the rule in Islamic law, it has significant examples in Islamic law. An examination in jurisprudential and legal books shows that scholars of jurisprudence and law have tried to reduce the scope of this legal status and reduce its examples by creating institutions such as withdrawal of the contract, the principle of correctness and the theory of spiritual commonality. In this regard, according to the examples of correction of void contracts in Islamic law, we can reach a comprehensive and complete theory called "correction of void contracts", which on the one hand compared to similar comprehensive institutions and on the other hand It has far fewer problems than such institutions. Correction of a void contract means that a void contract is corrected by removing the invalid causes or changing and transforming the annulled elements of the contract. In this research, we intend to examine the aspects of this theory and to assess its validity in the balance of jurisprudence and law. The result shows that there is no serious problem in correcting a void contract from a jurisprudential and legal point of view, and this legal act can be considered as one of the legal theories along with other institutions limiting the scope of voidness

EXPERIMENTAL STUDIES ON CONGO RED ADSORPTION BY TEA WASTE IN THE PRESENCE OF SILICA AND Fe2O3 NANOPARTICLES

In this work, the adsorption of the anionic dye, Congo red (CR), from aqueous solution by using tea waste (TW) has been carried out at 30 °C. The equilibrium sorption isotherms and kinetics were investigated. The equilibrium adsorption was studied by the Langmuir and Freundlich models of adsorption. The experimental results manifested that the Langmuir isotherm was the best model for the adsorption of CR by TW and implied the monolayer adsorption of CR on TW with the adsorption capacity of 40.6 mg/g at 30 °C. The kinetic data resulted from batch experiments were analyzed using pseudo-first-order and pseudo-second-order models. It was found that pseudo-second-order model provided the best fit for the experimental data (R2>0.99). The results illustrated that both silica and Fe2O3 nanoparticles increased the adsorption of CR on TW by about 5% and 10% at 30 °C, respectively. The results suggested that TW should be a potential low-cost adsorbent for the removal of CR from aqueous solution
