    The survey on aquaculture capacity of Ghar-Khatlo dam reservoir in Zanjan province

    Qhar-khetlu dam reservoir is in the central part of Ijrud city of Zanjan province with a reservoir volume of 500000 and a water volume of 900000 cubic meters, covering an area of 6 hectares and containing 3500 hectares of the watershed in order to control seasonal floods, drinking water in the village, strengthening the aquifers of the area and As a water supply in the dry seasons, 120 hectares of agricultural land was planted for irrigation.Study of this water source with the aim of measuring biological and non-biological factors, determination of aquaculture production and Fish release capacity and fishing capacity for optimal use of fishery management in Zanjan province was done in 2006.The results of hydrochemical analysis of the water of Qharkhetlu dam reservoir showed that the minimum and maximum temperature of water ranged from 4.5 to 26 ° C, the pH of the water was 4.7 to 8.8, the dissolved oxygen was 7.7 to 12.2 mg, the total water hardness fluctuation was 154 194 mg/L and electrical conductivity of 272 to 390 micrometers per square centimeter, the water transparency was 25 to 380 centimeters.In this study, six phytoplankton classes with 31 genera and 3 classes of zooplankton with 14 genera were obtained. The abundance of phytoplanktons was counted from 150,000 to 206,000 per liter, and the average chlorophyll a, 1.10 micrograms, was estimated. The frequency of zooplanktons were 32 to 132 per liter, as well as the mean of 544 per square meter of macrobenthos.By comparing of the physical, chemical and biological factors and also the results of previous studies of this water source, the conditions for the introduction of warm water and cold water fishes including silver carp, big head carp, rainbow trout out and native fishes including species of Barbus and Capoeta genera are suitable.     In recent years, similar symptoms to sheath rot complex (SH C) and grain discoloration (GD) has been observed in paddy fields Pathogenic strains were often isolated from samples with the symptom of longitudinal brown to reddish brown necrosis 5 mm wide extending the entire length of flag leaf sheath. Over 800 strains were isolated from collected samples and tested for pathogenicity on rice and/or hypersensitivity on tobacco or pelargonium. Pathogenic strains were isolated from 20.28% samples which contained only 5.3%of total strains. Eighty two strains comprising 72 strains from plants showing symptoms of sheath rot and grain discoloration, five strains from diseased seedling and five standard strains were analyzed for phenotypic studies. Pseudomonas-specific primers were used to confirm identification of the genus.On the basis of phenotypic characters and genus specific primers, the strains belonged to genera Acidovorax and Pseudomonas. Cluster analysis of 67 biochemical characters grouped 70 selected strains into seven distinct cluster and six groups with one member. The results confirmed that pathogenic strains associated with SH C and GD in Iran (Mazandaran province) belong to Acidovorax avenae subsp avenae (2.32%), Pseudomonas putida (2.32%), Pseudomonas marginalis (6.65%), Pseudomonas syringae (76.7%) and two unidentified species of Pseudomonas (13.95%).     Abstract Psyllid species, including the potato psyllid (PoP) Bactericera cockerelli (Sulc) (Triozidae) serve as host and vector of “Candidatus Liberibacter spp.” (“Ca. Liberibacter”), which also infects diverse plant hosts, including citrus and tomato. Psyllid transmission of “Ca. Liberibacter” is circulative and propagative. The time of “Ca. Liberibacter” acquisition and therefore vector life stage most competent for bacterial transmission varies by pathosystems. Here, the potato psyllid-“Ca. Liberibacter solanacearum” (CLso) pathosystem was investigated to dissect CLso-prophage interactions in the tomato plant and PoP-psyllid host by real-time quantitative reverse transcriptase amplification of CLso genes/loci with predicted involvement in host infection and psyllid-CLso transmission. Genes/loci analyzed were associated with (1) CLso-adhesion, -invasion, -pathogenicity, and -motility, (2) prophage-adhesion and pathogenicity, and (3) CLso-lysogenic cycle. Relative gene expression was quantified by qRT-PCR amplification from total RNA isolated from CLso-infected 1st–2nd and 4th–5th nymphs and teneral adults and CLso-infected tomato plants in which CLso infection is thought to occur without SC1-SC2 replication. Gene/loci expression was host-dependent and varied with the psyllid developmental stage. Loci previously associated with repressor-anti-repressor regulation in the “Ca Liberibacter asiaticus”-prophage pathosystem, which maintains the lysogenic cycle in Asian citrus psyllid Diaphorina citri, were expressed in CLso-infected psyllids but not in CLso-infected tomato plants

    ABSTRACT: In order to evaluate the yield and morpho-phenological traits of sesame cultivars and lines under drought conditions, 16 genotypes were evaluated in two separate experiments, under drought stress of season's end and non-stress conditions in a randomized complete block design with three replications in crop year [2008][2009]. The results showed that the cultivars and lines were different in both conditions for yield and morpho-phenological traits. Under drought stress of season's end conditions, the yield of sesame genotypes declined from 853 to 564 kg/ha. The lines of "TS-3" and "Darab 14" in nonstress conditions, had the highest grain yield but in stress conditions cultivars of "Darab14" and "Sistan local", had the highest grain yield. Although phenological traits of cultivars and lines were not statistically significant in drought stress of season's end, but the change process was decreasingly

    Structural and functional neuroimaging of late-life depression: a coordinate-based meta-analysis

    Several neuroimaging studies have investigated localized aberrations in brain structure, function or connectivity in late-life depression, but the ensuing results are equivocal and often conflicting. Here, we provide a quantitative consolidation of neuroimaging in late-life depression using coordinate-based meta-analysis by searching multiple databases up to March 2020. Our search revealed 3252 unique records, among which we identified 32 eligible whole-brain neuroimaging publications comparing 674 patients with 568 controls. The peak coordinates of group comparisons between the patients and the controls were extracted and then analyzed using activation likelihood estimation method. Our sufficiently powered analysis on all the experiments, and more homogenous subsections of the data (patients > controls, controls > patients, and functional imaging experiments) revealed no significant convergent regional abnormality in late-life depression. This inconsistency might be due to clinical and biological heterogeneity of LLD, as well as experimental (e.g., choice of tasks, image modalities) and analytic flexibility (e.g., preprocessing and analytic parameters), and distributed patterns of neural abnormalities. Our findings highlight the importance of clinical/biological heterogeneity of late-life depression, in addition to the need for more reproducible research by using pre-registered and standardized protocols on more homogenous populations to identify potential consistent brain abnormalities in late-life depression
