    Difficulties about parenting for working parents and how to stimulate the growth of children's development are a challenge to the business. Parents who entrust children expect to be well cared for by care for health. Griya Sehat Bayi dan Balita is an effort that provides comprehensive services to the needs of parents to monitor and develop the growth and development of infants or toddlers. The specific target this program is to provide a vehicle for universities to develop the application of technology in the health and nursing of infants/toddlers based on the results of research and community service. The service provided is a child care center with online CCTV service, assessment, and stimulation of growth and development of SPA for a toddler. Griya Sehat Bayi dan Balita gives job opportunities for alumni and becomes a place of internship for the student of STIKES Dirgahayu Samarinda. The daycare unit opened in March with a capacity of 10 children with four sitter-in. SPA units operate from May 2018 with a therapist, an admin, and four volunteers. The parent's evaluation of daycare in the 80% is satisfied and 20% stated very satisfyingly. Greeting, friendliness, speed of response and completeness of the facility is considered very satisfactory. Clarity type of service, cleanliness, and comfort is considered satisfactory by the customer

    Warm temperatures, humidity, and high rainfall are factors in the high incidence of infectious diseases in the tropics. This condition is certainly risky for children's health. COVID-19 pandemic also adds to the risk of endangering the health of children in the golden period. In the golden period, infants and toddlers need adequate nutritional intake. Many factors hinder the provision of nutrition (ASI), one of which is the COVID 19 pandemic. Inadequate nutritional intake can lead to suboptimal growth and development of children, decreased immunity. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of breastfeeding on nutritional status, and the frequency of children experiencing tropical diseases during the COVID 19 pandemic. Methods: Quantitative study with a categorical analytic research design. with a cross-sectional analytic approach. The sampling technique used a purposive sampling technique and the data collection tool was a questionnaire to measure the frequency of illness. Nutritional status measurement used anthropometric assessment. Conclusion: there is a significant relationship between breastfeeding and nutritional status and the frequency of illness in children. Recomedations:Therefore it is Important to campaign more intensively on the importance of breastfeeding for children's nutritional adequacy

    ABSTRAK Pemeriksaan pada masalah pertumbuhan dan perkembangan balita perlu menjadi perhatian khusus. Berdasarkan hasil diskusi dengan kader kesehatan anak pada tanggal 15 Agustus 2018 menunjukkan bahwa identifikasi gangguan pertumbuhan dan perkembangan balita penting untuk dilakukan masyarakat. Pendidikan kesehatan perlu dilakukan agar masyarakat memiliki pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam mengidentifkasi masalah dalam pertumbuhan dan perkembangan balita. Metode pelaksanaan program adalah penyuluhan dan pelatihan pada kader sebagai tangan panjang puskesmas untuk menggunakan instrumen pemeriksaan tumbuh kembang balita yang menggunakan Denver Development Screening Test (DDST). Bentuk kegiatan berupa dua kali penyuluhan dan empat kali praktik skrining DDST. Penyuluhan dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan kader tentang DDST. Peningkatan nilai post tes menunjukkan materi dapat diterima dengan baik. Pendampingan langsung dalam pemeriksaan anak yang memerlukan skrining tumbang, mahasiswa turut dilibatkan untuk menerapkan ilmu keperawatan anak dalam pemeriksaan tumbang. Kata kunci: Kader Posyandu, Tumbuh Kembang, Balita, Denver Development Screening Test (DDST)  ABSTRACTScreening for toddler growth and development needs to be of particular concern. The discussions' result with posyandu (integrated health center for toddler) cadres on August 15, 2018, was showed that screening for toddlers' failure of growth and development was essential to do in the community. Health education, training, and mentoring need to be done on cadres who organize posyandu activities. The program's method was counseling and training on cadres as an extended hand puskesmas (community health centers) to use the instrument of examination of the development of toddlers using the Denver Development Screening Test (DDST). The form of activity in the form of two counseling and four times the practice of DDST screening in the community. Counseling could increase cadres' knowledge about DDST. The increase in post-test scores suggests the material was well received. Direct assistance for cadres in the examination of children who require screening collapsed. Students were also involved in applying nursing knowledge in this activity.     Penggunaan complementary and alternative medicine pada penyakit hipertensi selama pandemi covid-19: The use of complementary and alternative medicine in hypertension disease during the covid-19 pandemic

    Hipertensi merupakan penyakit yang membutuhkan pengobatan yang lama dan dapat menimbulkan komplikasi pada organ vital tubuh. Salah satu tindakan nonfarmakologi yang sering dilakukan oleh penderita hipertensi adalah dengan menggunakan obat tradisional. Sejak pandemi COVID-19, masyarakat lebih memilih penggunaan obat tradisional untuk mengelola penyakit hipertensi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui penggunaan obat tradisional pada penyakit hipertensi selama pandemi Covid-19 Di Kelurahan Jawa Samarinda. Penelitian ini mengunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian menggunakan rancangan cross sectional study. Metode sampling yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling dengan jumlah responden adalah 65 responden. Analisa data menggunakan uji univariat. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa responden sebagian besar berusia 56-65 tahun, jenis kelamin perempuan, bekerja sebagai Ibu Rumah Tangga, tingkat sosial ekonomi rendah, tidak merokok, tidak pernah melakukan olahraga; memiliki riwayat keturunan hipertensi; dan lama menderita hipertensi 3-5 tahun. Sebelum pandemi Covid-19, sebanyak 33,8% responden menggunakan obat tradisional, tapi selama pandemi Covid-19 persentase responden yang menggunakan obat tradisional meningkat menjadi 43,1%. Faktor eksternal responden menggunakan obat tradisional karena rekomendasi dari keluarga/teman/tetangga (66%), sedangkan faktor internal karena menganggap obat tradisional lebih murah (60%). Jenis obat tradisional yang paling banyak digunakan oleh responden adalah mentimun (26%). Kesimpulannya, terdapat peningkatan penggunaan obat tradisional selama pandemik Covid-19.   Hypertension is a disease that requires a long treatment and can cause complications in the body's vital organs. One of the non-pharmacological actions that are often carried out by people with hypertension is using traditional medicine. Since the COVID-19 pandemic, people have preferred to use traditional medicines to manage hypertension. Objective: To determine the use of traditional medicine in hypertension during the Covid-19 pandemic in the Samarinda Java Village. This research used descriptive quantitative method with a cross-sectional study design. The sampling method used is purposive sampling with the number of respondents is 65 respondents. Data analysis using a univariate test. Results showed that most of the respondents were 56-65 years old, female gender, worked as housewives, low socioeconomic level, did not smoke, never did sports; have a hereditary history of hypertension; and have had hypertension for 3-5 years. Before the Covid-19 pandemic, 33.8% of respondents used traditional medicines, but during the Covid-19 pandemic, the percentage of respondents who used traditional medicines increased to 43.1%. External factors of respondents using traditional medicine because of recommendations from family/friends/neighbors (66%), while internal factors because they think traditional medicine is cheaper (60%). The most common type of traditional medicine used by respondents was cucumber (26%). In Conclusion, there is an increase in the use of traditional medicines during the Covid-19 pandemic.Hypertension is a disease that requires lifelong treatment. A non-pharmacological approach using Complementary And Alternative Medicine (CAM) is one of the treatments that is often used by Indonesian people. Complementary and alternative medicine is a non-specific term that refers to a variety of therapies that are not considered part of conventional medicine. The COVID-19 pandemic has caused a decrease in the number of community visits to health services, which may cause people to prefer using CAM to manage their hypertension. The purpose of this study was to determine the use of CAM in hypertension during the Covid-19 pandemic in Samarinda. This study uses quantitative methods with the type of research is descriptive analytic with cross sectional study design. The sampling method used was purposive sampling with 102 respondents. Data analysis using univariate test. The results of the analysis presented include frequency and percentage. The results found were that there was an increase in the use of CAM during the Covid-19 pandemic. During the Covid-19 pandemic the percentage of respondents using CAM increased to 50%. External factors were respondents using CAM because of recommendations from family/friends/neighbors (74%), while internal factors were because they considered CAM to have fewer side effects (49%). Herbal medicine is the most widely used type of CAM by respondents, namely 53% of respondents, and there are 24% of respondents who use massage procedures
