Analisis Human Interest Pada Pameran Foto Karya Mahasiswa Fakultas Ilmu Komunikasi Dan Bahasa Ubsi

Journalistic photography is one of the categories in the art of photography. The expertise to produce journalistic photographic works is a demand for communication students who are in the Faculty of Communication Science and Language University of Bina Sarana Informatika. One of the assessments of their work is to exhibit journalistic photography. Human Interest is one of the values of news in journalism so that the human interest element becomes part of the value-taking process. The problem in this research is how is the human interest in the exhibition of photojournalism students Faculty of Communication and Language University Bina Sarana Informatika, using the semiotic analysis of Barthes? The study uses a descriptive qualitative method with data analysis techniques in the form of literature and documentation studies. The results showed that photojournalism was able to display the human interest element so that it became self-interest for the viewer. In addition, the photographs displayed have meaningful meaning and message in the community.AbstractFotografi jurnalistik merupakan salah satu kategori dalam seni fotografi. Keahlian menghasilkan karya fotografi jurnalistik merupakan tuntutan bagi mahasiswa komunikasi yang berada di lingkungan Fakultas Ilmu Komunikasi dan Bahasa Universitas Bina Sarana Informatika. Salah satu penilaian hasil karya mereka adalah dengan melakukan pameran fotografi jurnalistik. Human interest merukan salah satu nilai berita dalam jurnalistik sehingga unsur human interest menjadi bagian pada proses pengambilan nilai tersebut. Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana unsur human interest pada pameran foto jurnalistik mahasiswa Fakultas Ilmu Komunikasi dan Bahasa Universitas Bina Sarana Informatika dengan menggunakan analisis semiotika Barthes? Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik analisis data berupa studi kepustakaan dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa foto jurnalistik mampu menampilkan unsur human interest sehingga menjadi ketertarikan sendiri bagi audiens yang melihatnya. Selain itu foto-foto yang ditampilkan memiliki makna dan pesan yang berarti di masyarakat

MESSAGE DESIGN LOGIC PRODUKSI KARYA FOTOGRAFI : (KAJIAN SEMIOTIKA SOSIAL KARYA FOTOGRAFER ULLY ZOELKARNAIN)

Fotografer Ully Zoelkarnain sebagai pekerja seni kreatif murni dan seni komersial, berpijak pada dua tarikan keadaan. Dengan masalah dua tarikan pemikiran logika desain pesan berdasarkan idealisme pribadi dan pesanan, pada konsep makna foto yang harus dikoordinasikan dengan cermat. Penelitian bertujuan mengungkap logika desain pesan pada makna foto konteks portrait fullbody-shot karya fotografer Ully Zoelkarnain, sebagai seniman murni dan seniman komersial dalam bekerja. Menganalisis logika pesan dari hasil konsep makna karya foto berupa pemikiran ekspresif fotografer dan pemikiran permintaan. Metode analisis deskriptif digunakan teori semiotika sosial dengan konsep Metafungsi dalam bahasa gambar untuk mengungkap makna pesan, kemudian hasil makna pesan dianalisis keterkaitannya dengan premis pada teori Message design logic, dan metode triangulasi dengan narasumber. Tiga subjek foto merepresentasikan makna struktur naratif terkait dengan hasil logika desain ekspresif dan retorika pada pemikiran pesan makna foto. Satu subjek foto merepresentasikan makna struktur konseptual dengan hasil logika desain konvensional pada konsep bersama pengguna foto. Tiga Logika desain pesan dalam sebuah foto karya fotografer tidak semua akan dimunculkan, tergantung dari konteks produksi pesan pada foto tersebut

Corruption is a pervasive global problem with detrimental effects on economic performance, political stability and community integration. Corruption has provided its own moment for the mass media which includes electronic mass media and printed mass media today to be used as the latest news which is called the Headline (headline). One of the news that discusses the new corruption case is the case of Social Assistance Funds (Bansos) at the Ministry of Social Affairs. The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) which has appointed the Minister of Social Affairs (Mensos) Juliari Batubara as a suspect in the corruption of social assistance (Bansos) for residents affected by the Covid 19 pandemic. The method in this study uses a qualitative description which aims to describe systematically, factually, and accurately about news on the corruption case of Social Affairs Minister for Social Affairs Juliari Batubara in Kompas.Com and BBCIndonesia.com with framing Robert Entman analysis. The results of this study are based on the results of the framing analysis in this study, it is very clear that the role of the media is not limited to conveying information, the times demand the media to play the role of 'watch dog' or guard dog and control for the government and related institutions in formulating every policy. for the benefit of society.
