Digitalization management system of Russia’s federal cities focused on prospective application throughout the country

    No full text
The spread of digital technology around the world is accompanied by the uneven development of digitalization processes on the territory of different countries. Russia is no exception. The problem of digitalization management in the Russian Federation must be solved by building an effective system of its management. In order to implement digitalization management throughout the country, it is necessary, first of all, to establish this process on the territory of federal cities: Moscow, St. Petersburg and Sevastopol. Federal cities have all opportunities for building an effective system of digitalization management which in the future could be applied in other Russia’s regions without any serious failures and significant losses. The review and assessment of trends in the current development of digitalization in Russia’s cities of federal importance, the identification of priority digital technologies and priority areas of digitalization in them, the evaluation of their digital life level indicates the unresolved issues of digitalization management in the cities under consideration. A competent organization of digitalization management in federal cities based on the proposed directions will ensure the successful development of digital transformation processes within their territories, and other Russia’s regions will be able to adopt their experience in the future

Business Education: Global Trends and Prospect

Business education in the world is developing at a fairly high pace. The reason for this is the possibility of exchanging experience between different countries in the field of entrepreneurial technologies, as well as the need to improve the relationship between the "scientific minds" of different countries. In this regard, the leading educational institutions of the world develop and implement various training programs aimed at improving the skills of students in the field of marketing, management, the world economy, as well as International economic relations. International business education should be studied from the perspective of measuring the effect of Internationalization of business schools and training programs by offering International training courses, foreign exchanges, subsidiaries, knowledge exports, various types of cooperation

4-Azidocinnoline—Cinnoline-4-amine Pair as a New Fluorogenic and Fluorochromic Environment-Sensitive Probe

A new type of fluorogenic and fluorochromic probe based on the reduction of weakly fluorescent 4-azido-6-(4-cyanophenyl)cinnoline to the corresponding fluorescent cinnoline-4-amine was developed. We found that the fluorescence of 6-(4-cyanophenyl)cinnoline-4-amine is strongly affected by the nature of the solvent. The fluorogenic effect for the amine was detected in polar solvents with the strongest fluorescence increase in water. The environment-sensitive fluorogenic properties of cinnoline-4-amine in water were explained as a combination of two types of fluorescence mechanisms: aggregation-induced emission (AIE) and excited state intermolecular proton transfer (ESPT). The suitability of an azide–amine pair as a fluorogenic probe was tested using a HepG2 hepatic cancer cell line with detection by fluorescent microscopy, flow cytometry, and HPLC analysis of cells lysates. The results obtained confirm the possibility of the transformation of the azide to amine in cells and the potential applicability of the discovered fluorogenic and fluorochromic probe for different analytical and biological applications in aqueous medium

Study of Structure of Industrial Acid Hydrolysis Lignin, Oxidized in the H2O2-H2SO4 System

<p>Products of oxidation of industrial acid hydrolysis lignin in the H2O2-H2SO4 system were studied using 13C NMR (in solution and solid state), MALDI-MS, and MS(ESI) techniques. Oxidation of hydrolysis lignin leads to the opening of aromatic rings of lignin, yielding carboxylic groups. Alkyl aryl ether linkages (β-O-4-bonds) between lignin phenyl propane units are not significantly affected by the oxidation. The structure of oxidized hydrolysis lignin is proposed. The basic structural unit of oxidized hydrolysis lignin is a muconic acid derivative.</p

Sputnik V Effectiveness against Hospitalization with COVID-19 during Omicron Dominance

Mass vaccination campaigns against COVID-19 affected more than 90% of the population in most developed countries. The new epidemiologic wave of COVID-19 has been ongoing since the end of 2021. It is caused by a virus variant B.1.1.529, also known as &ldquo;Omicron&rdquo; and its descendants. The effectiveness of major vaccines against Omicron is not known. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of the Sputnik V vaccine. The main goal is to assess its protection against hospitalization in the period of Omicron dominance. We conducted our study based on a large clinical center in Moscow (Russia) where 1112 patients were included. We used the case-population method to perform the calculations. The data we obtained indicate that the Omicron variant causes at least 90% of infections in the studied cohort. The effectiveness of protection against hospitalization with COVID-19 in our study was 85.9% (95% CI 83.0&ndash;88.0%) for those who received more than one dose. It was 87.6% (95% CI 85.4&ndash;89.5%) and 97.0% (95% CI 95.9&ndash;97.8%) for those who received more than two or three doses. The effectiveness in cases of more severe forms was higher than for less severe ones. Thus, present study indicates the high protective efficacy of vaccination against hospitalization with COVID-19 in case of Omicron lineage
