The digital age has ushered in a paradigm shift in self-expression and identity construction, with social network sites (SNSs) serving as vibrant canvases for individuals to shape and project their digital personality. This paper focuses on delving into the intricate components of digital identity on SNS, focusing on four key elements: identifiers, posts, profile photos, and selfies. Based on a descriptive and analytical method, this article attempts to draw up a detailed and nuanced analysis of the multiple facets of digital identity, thus providing a solid basis for in-depth understanding of this complex phenomenon in the specific context of social networks which technically regulate the representation of self. The results obtained show that the construction of a digital identity is framed by the architecture of SNSs, which incite users to manifest their selves, thus producing unlimited digital traces that reflect their personality traits. The results also provide an understanding of the structure of SNSs that aim to raise awareness of presenting a positive self-image in the digital world

The digital age has ushered in a paradigm shift in self-expression and identity construction, with social network sites (SNSs) serving as vibrant canvases for individuals to shape and project their digital personas. This article delves into the intricate components of digital identity on SNS, focusing on four key elements: identifiers, posts, profile photos, and selfies. User identifiers, which can be real names or pseudonyms, offer the initial gateway to establishing an online presence. The choice of an identifier signifies a conscious decision to reveal or conceal one's true identity, reflecting the growing complexities of identity management in the digital realm. Posts, the textual and visual content shared on SNS, serve as platforms for self-expression, enabling users to convey thoughts, emotions, and beliefs. These posts often undergo text analysis, unveiling the user's personality traits and emotional states, thus contributing to a comprehensive understanding of digital identity. Profile photos, representing users in a visual form, go beyond mere images ; they are semiotic clues of the individual's personality and appeal, with studies demonstrating associations between facial features and personality traits.  The selfie, a burgeoning digital phenomenon, provides insights into self-perception and a quest for recognition. Research has shown that selfies often mirror genuine personality traits, shedding light on users' self-esteem and emotional inclinations. This exploration of the components of digital identity in the context of SNS illuminates the complex interplay between user choices, self-expression, and societal interactions in our increasingly interconnected digital world. Understanding these elements is vital for comprehending the multifaceted nature of contemporary digital identities

This paper addresses the effect of being bilingual on the process of learning a particular foreign language. In other words, it seeks to illuminate the positive aspects of bilinguals over monolinguals while learning foreign languages. Based on several studies in the field of language acquisition, it has been revealed that bilinguals tend to be more experienced and capable than monolinguals by virtue of their rich linguistic and cultural repertoire that they possess. A group of bilingual and monolingual students at the university were sampled to find out the effect of bilingualism on the process of learning foreign languages. Questionnaires along with some tests were the main instruments employed in the analysis so as to examine the primary discrepancies between bilinguals and monolinguals in the learning outcomes. The findings highlight and account for the positive impact of being bilingual. Keywords: Bilingualism, Theories of bilingualism, Monolinguals, Effect of bilingualism. The Internet is an interesting source of information for many people today. Many studies investigated the Internet as a means of communication but little attention was given to its role in enhancing political awareness and civic engagement among the youth. Recently the interest in politics is noticeably on the increase, especially among the youth in several countries. This article aims at describing and explaining the role of exposure to the Internet news in promoting political awareness and citizenship among the youth, by providing the Moroccan context as a case study. Over the last decades, communication has become much easier, smoother and less expensive thanks to the Information Communication Technologies (ICT). The Internet as a valuable public sphere provides several avenues that encourage the youth to involve in different disciplines such as education, economics, and politics. Moreover, the advancement of technology has invaded different areas in life; a case in point is the irresistible dominance of the Internet use in the age of digital news and information. Roughly all different types of traditional media, such as television news, radio news programs, magazine advertorials and newspaper articles have extended its version into this new sophisticated field, namely the Internet. Thus, based on an exhaustive review of literature, this article addresses some interesting issues related to civic engagement, the Internet use and political awareness among the youth. Eventually the article ends with some critical insights and directions for prospective research. This qualitative study investigates the impact of formative assessment practices on English language teaching and learning outcomes in Morocco. Classroom observations with English language teachers and students were conducted to examine the use and effects of formative assessment practices. While English language teachers in Morocco had limited knowledge and use of formative assessment practices, the study found that their use had a significant positive effect on student learning outcomes. The effective implementation of formative assessment practices could help to improve the quality of English language teaching and learning in Morocco. The study provides insights into the benefits of using formative assessment practices in the Moroccan context and offers recommendations for their effective implementation in the English language classroom. This research could inform and guide policy and practice in English language teaching in Morocco and other similar contexts, contributing to improved outcomes. English language teachers and policymakers in Morocco can use the findings to enhance the quality of English language teaching and learning in their classrooms and institutions

In recent decades, drought has become a significant phenomenon attributed to climate change variability. Its long-term repercussions can lead to substantial agricultural, hydrological, social, and economic consequences. This study uses the Standardized Precipitation Index (SPI) to assess drought in Morocco’s SoussMassa watershed, revealing a significant decline in annual precipitation and highlighting the region’s increased drought susceptibility. Specifically, we analyzed data from five weather stations: Amaghouz (1978-2016), Amsoul (1979-2016), Immerguen (1971-2016), Lamded (1982-2016), and Taroudant (1967-2016) using statistical methods recommended by the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) for annual rainfall records. Additionally, we applied the SPI over a 12-month period to identify dry and wet years. Our analysis reveals alternating dry and wet phases, characterized by an overall decline in annual precipitation
