    Educational assessment standards were prepared in order to complete the assessment standards. This study aims to describe the ability of teachers in assessment of thematic learning. Based on the results of the research, which shows the performance evaluation based on the curriculum 2013, has not been fully implemented by Shanta 1 SD Negeri Malang and MI Nurul Islam sub district of Tajinan. The obtained data will be very useful for determining measures or policies relating to the assessment standards, which in turn is expected to improve the quality of the school

The learning model is composed of a device and guide student learning. Obtaining the model begins with a literature study, observations were made during this study, the analysis then compiled draft design model and continued with limited testing in class 1A.The results of the trials, it is known that the draft model prepared still need to be refined, especially in the student guide. This is because at the time of trial, the guidelines are still not able to guide students in learning. Sentences in the guide is still biased. In interviews, students feel bothered utilizing the student guide. In addition to its unusual use as well as user guide manual is not so clear. But overall, this model is useful to be one of the guidelines in determining the measures or policies related to improving the quality of learning in SD Muhammadiyah Malang 9, especially in a class test.Keywords: Models of Learning, character education, Thematic Learnin

    Peningkatan Pemahaman Konsep Pecahan Pembelajaran Tema Cuaca Melalui Model Cooperative Learning Tipe Stad Dan Media Origami Pada Kelas 3a Sdn Purwantoro 2 Malang

    Kurangnya pemahaman siswa terhadap konsep pecahan berdampak pada rendahnya hasil nilai siswa dalam materi perbandingan pecahan. Penanaman konsep pecahan harus diutamakan agar siswa dapat menyelesaikan permasalahan tentang perbandingan pecahan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep pecahan dalam tema cuaca pada siswa kelas 3A SDN Purwantoro 2 Malang melalui model pembelajaran cooperative learning tipe STAD dan menggunakan media origami. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang menerapkan model Kemmis dan Taggart. Subyek pada penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas 3A SDN Purwantoro 2 Malang yang berjumlah 25 siswa. Pada penelitian ini, pengumpulan data melalui tes awal, tes akhir tindakan, observasi, dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini meliputi tahapan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, verifikasi data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Sesuai dengan penelitian yang telah dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa : pemahaman siswa dalam membandingkan pecahan melalui model cooperative learning tipe STAD dan media origami siswa kelas 3A SDN Purwantoro 2 Malang mengalami peningkatan

    Analysis of Islamic Values on the Mathematics Learning in the Elementary School Teacher Education Department

    Elementary Teacher Education Department, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education of UMM is one of educational institution to create prospective elementary teacher. This department implements Islamic values in academic activities. One of academic activities is mathematics learning. The purpose of this paper is to analyze islamic values values on the mathematics learning for primary teacher candidates. Islamic values include honesty values, responsibility, discipline and careness. Analysis of the implementation is done by using a qualitative approach and the type is descriptive. The data sources are lecturers and primary teacher candidates. While the instruments used are interview sheets, observation  guideline and documentation studies. The results of the analysis analysis of islamic values on the mathematics learning for Elementary School Teacher Education Department will be one of the guidelines for improving the quality of prospective elementary teacher in the future. &nbsp

    Analysis of Planning, Implementation, Assessment of Learning From Home Strategies During the Covid-19 Pandemic in Private Elementary Schools

    The impact of the COVID-19 virus is so significant. Efforts have been taken to handle the impacts on various fields, including in-field education. The Indonesian government has established three policies in education, one of which is learning from home. This article analyzes the planning, implementation, assessment of learning from home strategies during the COVID-19 pandemic in private elementary schools. The research was conducted qualitatively, and the type of research was descriptive. The instruments of this research were interviews, indirect observations, and documentation studies. The research subjects were two principals, two teachers, two students, two guardians of students from each elementary school, i.e., Muhammadiyah 9 Elementary School and Bani Hasyim Islamic Elementary school, both in Malang, East Java, Indonesia. Among the research subjects, the Principal of each school is the key informant in this study. The results of the analysis show that the lesson planning already includes the use of lesson plans. However, communication with students and parents is done through PANDAWA applications and daily learning scenarios, which contain materials, teaching materials, LKPD, and assessment questions. The implementation of learning is carried out synchronously and asynchronously. The learning assessment is conducted by sending questions using various applications such as Edmodo, Quilgo, Google Classroom, and the PANDAWA website. Various forms of innovation in learning services while learning from home are key parts in improving the quality of private elementary schools
