    Implementation of the Introduction to the School Field at FKIP University of Lampung

    One of the abilities and qualifications of prospective teachers is the result of their participation in the School Field Introduction (PLP) program. PLP is expected to be one of the efforts to prepare competent and prospective teacher candidates in the world of work. Field experience in teacher education programs helps students grow and develop as teachers. Field experience, an important component of teacher preparation. PLP aims to strengthen students' academic abilities in education and learning through activities in schools. The method used is descriptive qualitative with interview instruments and drawing conclusions. Sources of data are student teacher candidates who do PLP in schools in Bandar Lampung. The subjects in the study were student teacher candidates who held PLP in schools in Bandar Lampung. The research subject selection technique used snowball sampling technique. The results of this study, the PLP activity planning indicators are carried out by procedurally making activity agendas in the form of circulars addressed to students, heads of study programs and heads of departments, collaborating with the Education Office, determining partner schools, placing placements, preparing orientation and debriefing materials. implementation indicators during the Coronavirus Disease (Covid-19) emergency period, teaching exercises and extracurricular assistance cannot be optimal because most of the implementation is online. And the indicators for the assessment of components and weights of the PLP assessment consist of: 10% attendance on campus and schools and 40% Oral Examination by PLP supervisors

    The Effectiveness of Guided Inquiry Learning Model to Improve Science Literacy Skills and Students Self Efficacy on AcidBase Materials

    This research was aimed to gain an information about the effectiveness of guided inquiry learning model in improving students' science literacy and self efficacy on acid-base material. This research method is a quasi-experimental with pretest postest control group design. The population in this study were all students of class XI MIA SMA Negeri 3 Metro of the 2019/2020 school year. Sampling on this study are XI MIA 2 as the experimental class and XI MIA 3 as the control class. The effectiveness of guided inquiry learning model was analyzed using the two mean difference test at n-Gain and the effect size test on students' science literacy and self efficacy. The results showed that  guided inquiry learning model had a "large" effect on improving students' science literacy and self efficacy with effect size about 89,01% and 93,28%. The conclusion of this research is the guided inquiry learning model is effective for improving student's science literacy and self efficacy.Keywords: acid-base, science literacy, self efficacy, guided inquiry learning model Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan informasi mengenai efektivitas model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dalam meningkatkan kemampuan literasi sains dan efikasi diri siswa pada materi asam basa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen dengan pretest-posttest control group design. Populasi yang digunakan yaitu seluruh kelas XI MIA SMAN 3 Metro tahun ajaran 2019/2020. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah kelas XI MIA 2 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan XI MIA 3 sebagai kelas kontrol. Efektivitas model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing di analisis menggunakan uji perbedaan dua rata-rata pada n-Gain dan uji effect size terhadap kemampuan literasi sains dan efikasi diri siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model inkuiri terbimbing memiliki pengaruh “besar” dalam meningkatkan kemampuan literasi sains dan efikasi diri siswa dengan effect size sebesar 89,01% dan 93,28%. Pada penelitian ini diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi sains dan efikasi diri siswa pada materi asam basa.Kata kunci: asam basa, literasi sains, efikasi diri, model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing

    Efektivitas Model POGIL untuk Meningkatkan Self Confidence dan Penguasaan Konsep Larutan Penyangga Peserta Didik

    This study aims to describe the effectiveness of the POGIL model to increase students' self-confidence and mastery of the buffer solution concept. The research sample was taken using cluster random sampling technique, obtained class XI IPA 3 as the experimental class and XI IPA 4 as the control class. This study used a quasi-experimental method with pretest-posttest control group design. The POGIL model is said to be effective if it shows a significant difference in the value of n-Gain self confidence and students' mastery of concepts between the experimental class and the control class. The results showed that the POGIL model was effective in increasing students' self-confidence and mastery of the buffer solution concept.Keywords: POGIL models, self confidence, mastery of concepts, buffer solution Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan efektivitas model POGIL untuk meningkatkan self confidence dan penguasaan konsep larutan penyangga peserta didik.     This research aimed to describe the validity (eligibility), practicality, and effectivity of student worksheet as development product. The research used Research and Development method and the subject of the research was student worksheet. Student worksheet can be measured from the results of expert validation. Student worksheet can be seen from the results of the feasibility assessment, teacher and students responses. Student worksheet can be seen from the results of the assessment of student activity, self-efficacy, and increasing mastery of concepts. The result showed that student worksheet were valid (eligible), practicable, and effective to develop self-efficacy and mastering the concept.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan validitas (kelayakan), kepraktisan, dan keefektivan LKS yang dikembangkan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode Research and Development dengan subyek penelitian yaitu LKS. Kelayakan LKS dapat diukur dari hasil validasi ahli. Kepraktisan LKS dilihat dari penilaian keterlaksanaan, penilaian guru, dan respon siswa. Keefektivan LKS dapat dilihat dari hasil penilaian aktivitas siswa, efikasi diri, dan peningkatan penguasaan konsep. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa LKS valid (layak), praktis, dan efektif digunakan untuk meningkatkan efikasi diri dan penguasaan konsep.Kata kunci: LKS, multipel representasi, SiMaYan

    Analisis Keterampilan Berpikir Lancar Pada Materi Larutan Elektrolit Nonelektrolit Menggunakan Inkuiri Terbimbing

    This research aimed to describe fluency thinking skill in electrolyte nonelectrolyte subject matter by using guided inquiry learning model for high, intermediate and low groups of student. The subject were students of class X1 SMA Negeri 2 Metro. This research used the pre-experimental method, a one-shot case study design, and data analysis using statistic descriptive. The results showed that fluency thinking skill in high level group 57,14% were excellent, 28,57% were good, and 14,29% were enough. In the intermediate level group, 17,65% were excellent, 70,59% were good, and 11,76% students were enough. In the low level group, 14,29% were excellent, 28,57% were good, and 57,14% students were enough. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keterampilan berpikir lancar pada materi larutan elektrolit nonelektrolit menggunakan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing untuk siswa kelompok tinggi, sedang, dan rendah. Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X1 SMA Negeri 2 Metro. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pre-eksperimen, desain one shot case study, dan analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan siswa dalam berpikir lancar pada kelompok tinggi 57,14 % siswa berkriteria sangat baik, 28,57% siswa berkriteria baik dan 14,29% berkriteria cukup. Pada kelompok sedang 17,65% siswa berkriteria sangat baik, 70,59% siswa berkriteria baik, 11,76% siswa lainnya berkriteria cukup. Pada kelompok rendah 14,29% siswa berkriteria sangat baik, 28,57% siswa berkriteria baik, dan 57,14% siswa lainnya berkriteria cukup.

    PENGARUH PRE LECTURE QUIZ DALAM MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN BERPIKIR KREATIF DAN PENGUASAAN KONSEP SISWA

    This research was aimed to describe the effect of pre lecture quiz in improving creative thinking skill and student concept mastery. The research method used was quasi-experimental with pretest-posttest control group design. The sample selection was done by purposive sampling, and XI IPA 3 is obtained as experimental class and XI IPA 1 as control class. The chemical material taught in this research is Arrhenius acid base. The effect of pre lecture quiz was measured based on a simple regression test. The results of a simple regression test at a significance level of 0.05 showed a positive linear influence of the pre lecture quiz on creative thinking skill and student concept mastery, with a contribution of 16.9% influenced by the pre lecture quiz.Keywords: Arrhenius acid base, creative thinking, pre lecture quiz Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh pre lecture quiz dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kreatif dan penguasaan konsep siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan pretest-posttest  control  group  design.  Pemilihan sampel dilakukan secara purposive sampling, dan diperoleh kelas XI IPA 3 sebagai kelas eksperimen serta kelas XI IPA 1 sebagai kelas kontrol.  Materi kimia yang diajarkan pada penelitian ini adalah asam basa Arrhenius.  Pengaruh pre lecture quiz diukur berdasarkan uji regresi sederhana.  Hasil uji regresi sederhana pada taraf signifikansi sebesar 0,05 menunjukkan adanya pengaruh linier positif dari pre lecture quiz terhadap keterampilan berpikir kreatif dan penguasaan konsep siswa, dengan kontribusi sebesar 16,9% dipengaruhi oleh pre lecture quiz. Kata kunci: asam basa Arrhenius, berpikir kreatif, pre lecture qui

    This research is aimed to describe grouping and inference skills of redoks material through problem solving model for student cognitive group.The subject is 30 students of X6 SMAN 16 Bandar Lampung. The method of this research is preexperiment with one shot case study design and statiktif descriptive. This research will show problem solving model appliction of redoks material for: (1)grouping skill: high category 100% are excellent skill; in medium 77,78% are excellent skill, 5,56% are good skill and 16,66% are enough skill; in low category 60% are excellent skill, 20% are good skill, and 20% are enough skill. (2)inference skill: For high category 85,71% are excellent skill and 14,29 % are good skill. for medium category 61,11% are excellent skill, 22,22% are good skill and 16,67% are enough skill; for low category 60% are excellent skill, 40% are good.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keterampilan mengelompokkan dan inferensi pada materi redoks dengan model pembelajaran problem solving untuk kelompok kognitif siswa. Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X6 SMAN 16 Bandar Lampung berjumlah 30 siswa. Metode penelitian ini adalah pre experimental dengan one-shot case study. Analisis data menggunakan statiktif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : (1) keterampilan mengelompokkan, untuk kelompok tinggi 100% berkriteria sangat baik; untuk kelompok sedang 77,78% berkriteria sangat baik; 5,56% baik; dan 16,66% cukup; untuk kelompok rendah 60% sangat baik; 20% baik; dan 20% cukup.     This research was aimed to describe the effectiveness of guided inquiry learning model in improving students' critical thinking skills on acid-base material. The population in this study were students of class XI MIA SMA Negeri 3 Metro  of the 2019/2020 school year with a sample of class XI MIA 2 as the experimental class and XI MIA 3 as the cotrol class. This research method is a quasi-experimental with pretest postest control group design. The effectiveness of guided inquiry learning modelThis research was analyzed using the two mean difference test at n-Gain and the effect size test on students' critical thinking skills between experimental  class that applied guided inquiry learning model and control class.     Pengembangan Animasi Berbasis Simulasi Molekul pada Metode Kromatografi

    This research was aimed to develop method animation based on molecular simulation by chromatography method. This research used research and development method (RD). The result of the reseach was animation by chromatography method that displaying molecule visualization of mixture separation by chromatography method. Based on the preliminary field test result, the response of teachers and validator to the content suitability was respectively percentage of 91,11%, and as much as 90,83% was categorized as very hight. The response of teachers, validator, students, in attractiveness and easyness aspects was respectively percentage of 90,19%, 90,56%, and 89,72% with very high category.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan animasi berbasis simulasi molekul pada metode kromatografi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan (RD). Hasil penelitian ini yaitu animasi pada metode kromatografi yang menampilkan visualisasi molekul pemisahan campuran dengan metode kromatografi. Berdasarkan hasil uji coba lapangan awal, guru dan validator memberikan tanggapan terhadap aspek kesesuaian isi yaitu masing-masing persentase sebanyak 91,11%, dan sebanyak 90,83% yang dikategorikan sangat tinggi, serta tanggapan guru, validator, dan siswa terhadap aspek kemenarikan dan kemudahan penggunaan yaitu masing-masing persentase sebanyak 90,19%, 90,56%, dan 89,72% dengan kategori sangat tinggi.Kata Kunci : animasi, kromatografi, pemisahan campuran, simulasi moleku

    THE IMPROVEMENT OF SKILLS IN GIVING SIMPLE EXPLANATIONS AND IMPLEMENTING ACCEPTABLE CONCEPTS IN SALT HYDROLYSIS MATERIAL THROUGH GUIDED INQUIRY LEARNING MODEL.

    The aim of this research was to determine effectiveness of guided inquiry learning model in salt hydrolysis material in improving the skills in giving a simple explanation and implementing acceptable concept. Samples were 32 students in classroom XI science three as experiment and 31 students in classroom XI science four as control that have equal academic abilities. This was a quasi experiment research using non equivalent control group design.  Data analysis used a t-test of the n-Gain significant. The results showed that average value of n-Gain of skills in giving a simple explanation in experiment and control classrooms were 0.44 and 0.12 respectively; and average value of n-Gain for implementing acceptable concepts in experiment and control classrooms were 0.42 and 0.20 respectively with tcount (2.23) ttable (1.67). The conclusion is that the guided inquiry learning model in salt hydrolysis was effective in improving skills in giving simple explanations and implementing acceptable concepts by students.Keywords: guided inquiry, meteri salt hydrolysis ,giving a simple explanation and apply the concept of acceptable
