Genes of tumor necrosis factors and their receptors and the primary open angle glaucoma in the population of Central Russia
To examine the association of genetic polymorphisms (-308)G/A TNFα, (+250)A/G Ltα, (+36)A/G TNFR1, (+1663) A/G TNFR2 with the development of primary open angle glaucoma (POAG) among people in Central Russi
Association of Interleukins Genes Polymorphic Markers with Speed of CGN’s Advance
The authors investigated associations of polymorphism of interleukins genes with nephritic survivance of the ill with chronic glomerulonephritis among 238 patients with CGN and 241 control group individual
Primary dismernoria among teenager girls on the background of non-differentiated dysplasia of connecting tissue
Objective of the study: to identify the features of the primary dysmenorrhea clinic among adolescent girls with connective tissue dysplasia. The mean value of the rank index of pain in the main group is higher than in the comparison group. The emotional component prevailed in the inner picture of the perception of pain. Psycho-emotional status was distinguished by a high level of average score of reactive and personal anxiety. Summary. Systemic pathology associated with connective tissue dysplasia increases the clinical course of primary dysmenorrhea among adolescents, which gives grounds to differentiate the treatment and diagnostic algorith
Joint effect of glutathione S-transferase genotypes and cigarette smoking on idiopathic male infertility
Inconsistent results of association studies investigated the role of glutathione S-transferase genes in idiopathic male infertility may be explained by ethnical differences in gene-gene and gene-environment interactions. In this study, we investigated a joint contribution of GSTM1, GSTT1 and GSTP1 gene polymorphisms and cigarette smoking to the risk of idiopathic infertility in Russian menyesBelgorod State National Research Universit
Association of C3435T (rs1045642) polymorphism of the MDR1 gene with the increased risk of colorectal cancer in russian females from Central Russia
The objective of this study was to examine associations of single nucleotide polymorphisms, rs1045642 within the MDR1 gene and rs1799930 within the NAT2 gene, with the risk of colorectal cancer (CRC) in the population of Central Russi
Functionally significant polymorphisms of the MMP9 gene are associated with primary open-angle glaucoma in the population of Russia
The aim of this study was to investigate the role of functionally significant loci of the matrix metalloproteinases genes 1, 3, 9 (MMP1, MMP3, and MMP9) in the development of primary open-angle glaucoma (POAG) in Caucasians of the Central region of Russi
Chemokines Genetic Variants are Associated with Parameters of Humoral Immunity of Patients with Chronic Glomerulonephritis
The authors researched associations of chemokines genes polymorphisms with parameters of humoral immunity of 238 patients with chronic glomerulonephritis and 462 individuals of a control grou
Correction of retinal ischemia/reperfusion by 3-(1H-benzimidazol-2-il)-1,2,2-trimethyl cyclopentancarbonic acid in experiment
Results of ocular fundus studies revealed the most pronounced protective effects of 3-(1Hbenzimidazol-2-il)-1,2,2-trimethyl cyclopentancarbonic acid in a dose 50 mg/kg on the model of retinal ischemiareperfusion in Wistar rats, which is reflected in the restoration of the optic disc. Correction of retinal ischemiareperfusion by 3-(1H-benzimidazol-2-il)-1,2,2-trimethyl cyclopentancarbonic acid in a dose 50 mg/kg leads to higher values of the coefficient b/a of electroretinography after 72 hours of reperfusion compared to the group with pathology correction by the same drug in a dose 10 mg/kg, which indicates the restoration of the electrophysiological state of the retin
Filaggrin gene polymorphisms are associated with atopic dermatitis in women but not in men in the Caucasian population of Central Russia
This study aimed to analyze the gender-specific association of the filaggrin (FLG) gene polymorphisms with atopic dermatitis in Caucasians from the central region of Russi
The haplotype of the CDKN2B-AS1 gene is associated with primary open-angle glaucoma and pseudoexfoliation glaucoma in the Caucasian population of Central Russia
To replicate the finding of the association of five CDKN2B-AS1 gene polymorphisms (rs7865618,rs1063192, rs944800, rs2157719, and rs4977756) with primary open-angle glaucoma (POAG) and to analyze them for possible association with pseudoexfoliation glaucoma (PXFG) in a Caucasian population of Central Russi
