In terms of providing services to customers in the bank, the phenomenon of Queuing isinevitable and often encountered. Where is clearly visible that the number of customerswaiting to be served. the length of the queue make customers feel uncomfortable, becauseit considers the time they wasted their time waiting in line before being served. Effort thathas been done is to develop technology that can provide satisfaction to customers and feltstill not deliver maximum results. One way to reduce the queues are so long is to how tochange an existing queue system. This research uses as much of the sample which is 1349 Bank X at the teller. Thisresearch uses the pattern of arrival poisson and exponential service pattern. The results of this research show the value of Asymp. Sig > real level. Therefore, it canbe concluded that the Bank X pattern of arrival Poisson and service Eksponential pattern. Then the Bank X has been in accordance with the model queue that is used in general. Itis appropriate in the earlier mentioned that the research queueing models is the patternof arrival of Poisson and service Eksponential pattern

The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of the composition of Sinabung volcanic ashand cow manure in the planting medium on the growth and production of Deli tobacco. Theresearch was conducted at Balai Penelitian Tembakau Deli (BPTD) Sampali, Percut Sei TuanDistrict Deli Serdang Regency North Sumatera with the height of + 15 metres above sea level, began from June until July 2014. The research was arranged with a non-factorial randomized blockdesign which is consisting of 6 treatmentsratio of top soil : volcanic ash : cow manure that is 15kg:0kg: 0kg (P0), 12kg: 2.5kg: 0.5 kg (P1), 12kg: 2kg: 1 kg (P2), 12kg: 1.5kg: 1.5 kg (P3), 12kg: 1 kg:2 kg (P4), 12kg: 0.5kg: 2.5 kg (P5). The result showed that the composition of volcanic ash and cowmanurein the planting medium significantly affected the plant height, number of leaf, stemdiameter, sand leaf length (Z), first feet leaf length (VA), sand leaf width (Z), first feet leaf width(VA), sand leaf area (Z) and first feet leaf area (VA) at 18 days after transplanting up to 50 daysafter transplanting. The composition of Sinabung volcanic ash and cow manure in the plantingmedium unsignificantly affected the sand leaf thickness (Z) and first feet leaf thickness (VA)

This research was conducted Batu Penjamuran Village Namorambe sub district. The research was conducted in June until December 2016. Research method used was case study at broiler farm Andarias. The location determination in this study was conducted directly on the basis that livestock farming Andarias was a potential farm and has had never been analyzed its business feasibility. This research was used data collection method by observation and direct interview to farmer Andarias. This research showed the income earned by breeder Andarias, in the year 2014 to 2016 sequantially each month as much as Rp. 9.327.568, Rp. 5.508.219, and Rp. 9.023.066.NPV value of 250,784,644, IRR of 66.58% and R / C of 1.08% which could then be declared as a reasonable information. Therefore, the conclusions generated by the researcher was a livestock business by Mr. Andarias expressed could be continued and developed

Coconut plants are common in Indonesia, which is the second largest copra producer in the world. Coconut dregs has never been used before, as result it is one of large wastes in Indonesia. The main problems of coconut dregs were the content of crude fiber and crude fat which are high and low crude protein. Special attention was needed to improve the nutritional content by using fermentation technology. Fermentation was used in this study by using bacteria which had derived from the coconut plant itself called pliek u, isolate (YNH11). This study was conducted for 3 months starting from April to July 2018 at the Animal Production Laboratory and the Laboratory of Animal Food Nutrition Sciences Faculty of Agriculture, University of North Sumatra. This research was designed using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) factorial pattern of 3 x 3, with 3 replications where remarked as factor 1 was the various levels of bacterial inoculum YNH11 from pliek u and factor 2 was the duration of fermentation (incubation). the parameters measured were water content, dry ingredient , crude protein, crude fiber, crude fat, and ash content using proximate analysis. The results showed that coconut pulp fermentation using bacterial origin of pliek u (isolate YNH11) with the level of inoculum administration and fermentation time had an effect on the measured parameters. it eventually increased water content and crude protein, meanwhile it decresed crude fiber, crude fat, dry ingredient, and ash content as well

Aktivitas Antibakteri Dari Ekstrak Kasar Bakteri Yang Berasosiasi Dengan Sponge Acanthostrongylophora SP.

Sponges have a potential to produce bioactive compounds. Their ability to do it since there is a symbiotic relationship with microorganisms in these bacteria. Because of this critical role, the bacteria symbiotic with sponge allegedly have great potential in terms of producing bioactive compounds that have been isolated from sponges (Lee, et al, 2001). In this study, using bacterial culture preparations isolated from the sponge, Acanthostrongylophora sp., the bacterial isolates were tested for their antibacterial activities using a well diffusion test. Based on the antibacterial activity test, the bacterial isolates known as BPO (shaped wavy white dots) and BPB (white threadlike have a certain type of thread) had antibacterial activity. ODS had a broad spectrum as potent against all three types of tested bacteria (Vibrio cholerae, Staphyloccocus aureus, Bacillus subtillis)

The egg marketing by producers usually uses various marketing agencies so that chicken eggs will reach consumers. This process requires marketing costs to be used to perform marketing functions. Therefore, research is conducted to investigate the marketing channels, marketing institutions, marketing functions and investigate the marketing efficiency of chicken’s egg found in Binjai City. This research was conducted from July to August 2018. The method used in data collection is the withdrawal of a sample of retailers using the purposive sampling method, while the sample of farmers and other marketing institutions with snowball sampling. Data collection was done by interview technique using a questionnaire. Data analysis includes marketing costs, marketing margins, farme’r share and cost benefit ratio of each marketing channel. The results of this study indicate that there are two marketing channels. The smallest marketing margin is obtained by the second marketing channel, therefore the second marketing channel has the largest ratio of profit to cost. The biggest farmer's share is obtained in the second marketing channel, this channel only uses retailers as an intermediary channel. So it can be concluded that the second channel is the most efficient channel because it has the smallest cost and the profit is spread evenly across all the marketing institutions that play a role
