Cyclic degradation of titanium-tantalum high-temperature shape memory alloys - The role of dislocation activity and chemical decomposition
Titanium-tantalum shape memory alloys (SMAs) are promising candidates for actuator applications at elevated temperatures. They may even succeed in substituting ternary nickel-titanium high temperature SMAs, which are either extremely expensive or difficult to form. However, titanium-tantalum alloys show rapid functional and structural degradation under cyclic thermo-mechanical loading. The current work reveals that degradation is not only governed by the evolution of the ω-phase. Dislocation processes and chemical decomposition of the matrix at grain boundaries also play a major role.DFG/NI1327/3-1DFG/MA1175/34-1DFG/EG101/22-1DFG/FR2675/3-
Comparative Assessment of the Ideas About Doping Among Athletes Involved in Athletics and Table Tennis
This article presents the results of a study conducted to assess the level of knowledge about doping among track and field athletes and table tennis players. The study included a survey of athletes to determine their understanding of the problem of doping, awareness of prohibited substances, and the consequences of doping
Formation of visual culture in teenagers by teaching them photographic art
© BEIESP. Currently, the vector of modern culture is shifted from verbal to the visual aspect. Visually represented and superficial information often disguises phenomena that require special analysis to identify them. Today, the younger generation, namely adolescents, is the most prone to massive informational “visual attack”. Realizing that immersion in a low-grade visual environment is not harmless for a young, not yet fully formed the personality of a teenager; the formation of their visual culture is a pedagogical problem. As a result of the study, the authors clarified the definition of “visual culture of personality”, revealed its structural composition, determined the component content and substantiated its significance in the creative development of a teenager. Based on the methodological foundations of personal-pragmatist, culturological, and pragmatist approaches, as well as the integrated application of theoretical and empirical methods, the researchers identified the possibilities of photographic art which acts as a pedagogical means of solving the problem. In order to realize the pedagogical potential of photographic art in educational practice, the authors developed a pedagogical model for the formation of visual culture as part of the target, methodological, substantive-procedural and diagnostic-effective components. The introduction of the authoring in the educational process has allowed us to obtain positive results

Readiness of future music teachers for creative self-actualization
© Yavgildina et al. Purpose of the study: The article deals with the problem of the readiness of future general education music teachers for creative self-actualization. The issue is regarded as an integral personality formation ensuring the achievement of creative self-actualization and including two interrelated components – professional readiness and personal readiness. Methodology: The research was carried out at the Institute of Philology and Intercultural Communication, Kazan Federal University, and based on the methods of observation, interviewing students and teachers, studying academic and methodical literature. Main Findings: The research showed the variability of the formation of the readiness for creative self-actualization, owing to a complex of subjective psychological and objective pedagogical factors, in particular, various types of pre-university training of students

The recreational area of the university as a basis for the personal and physical development of students with health related conditions
In society, both in Russia and abroad, there is a situation with a pronounced tendency towards deterioration in the health of young people, the growth of persons with health related conditions. This problem poses special tasks for the State and society to adapt and to integrate such people into society. The paper examines the possibilities of the recreational area of the university and motor technologies for people with disabilities. The importance of using the recreational environment of the university, built for the needs of both a healthy person and those with disabilities, is emphasized. The research work contains the results of an experiment to improve the musculoskeletal system of students with health related conditions using the conditions of the recreational environment of the university. The practical significance of the work was expressed in the justification of the expediency of using a set of exercises for general physical fitness and special gymnastics for the feet for the physical development of students with health related conditions
Rare clinical case of esophageal atresia in a newborn
Esophageal atresia is a malformation in which the upper and lower segments of the esophagus are separated. In this case, one or both segments may have a connection with the trachea.Purpose: to familiarize medical practitioners with a rare clinical case of esophageal atresia. The clinical variant of esophageal atresia presented in the publication has not yet been described in the medical literature; according to the clinical characteristics, it is most consistent with type 3B according to the classification of E. Vogt. Diagnosis and treatment of this malformation is carried out according to the previously developed standard protocol for diagnosis and treatment. The key diagnostic method is thoracoscopy, in many cases the malformation is detected intraoperatively (the main diagnostic method). The history of a sick child, a characteristic of clinical symptoms, data of paraclinical research methods, methods and favorable treatment results are provided
