Depletion isolation effect in Vertical MOSFETS during transition from partial to fully depleted operation

    No full text
A simulation study is made of floating-body effects (FBEs) in vertical MOSFETs due to depletion isolation as the pillar thickness is reduced from 200 to 10 nm. For pillar thicknesses between 200–60 nm, the output characteristics with and without impact ionization are identical at a low drain bias and then diverge at a high drain bias. The critical drain bias Vdc for which the increased drain–current is observed is found to decrease with a reduction in pillar thickness. This is explained by the onset of FBEs at progressively lower values of the drain bias due to the merging of the drain depletion regions at the bottom of the pillar (depletion isolation). For pillar thicknesses between 60–10 nm, the output characteristics show the opposite behavior, namely, the critical drain bias increases with a reduction in pillar thickness. This is explained by a reduction in the severity of the FBEs due to the drain debiasing effect caused by the elevated body potential. Both depletion isolation and gate–gate coupling contribute to the drain–current for pillar thicknesses between 100–40 nm

Security and confidentiality of data is currently a very important issue and continues to grow. Some cases involving data security is now a job that requires handling and security costs so much. To maintain the security and confidentiality of messages, data, or information that cannot be read or understood by any person, except for recipients who are entitled, then the application of a safety system designed by the method of data encryption using the RC4 algorithm.RC4 (Rivets Cipher 4) is a Synchrony stream cipher, which has a symmetric key cipher and encrypt the plaintext digits are digits per byte by byte or by combining with a binary operation XOR with a random number

    A matrix-valued point interactions model

We study a matrix-valued Schr\"odinger operator with random point interactions. We prove the absence of absolutely continuous spectrum for this operator by proving that away from a discrete set its Lyapunov exponents do not vanish. For this we use a criterion by Gol'dsheid and Margulis and we prove the Zariski denseness, in the symplectic group, of the group generated by the transfer matrices. Then we prove estimates on the transfer matrices which lead to the H\"older continuity of the Lyapunov exponents. After proving the existence of the integrated density of states of the operator, we also prove its H\"older continuity by proving a Thouless formula which links the integrated density of states to the sum of the positive Lyapunov exponents

Filariasis Preventive Mass Drug Administration (MDA) program supposed to covered at least 65% of the target. According to the Indonesia\u27s program annual reports, the coverage from year of 2005-2009 are 28%-29%. Those coverage are still far below the expected coverage. Bandung Regency is one of 11 filariasis endemic areas in West Java that treatment coverage for four years (2009-2012) in a row is 70%, 62%, 64% and 68%. This study was an observational study with cross sectional study design studies. The study was conducted at the health center Cikaro Regency Bandung in 2013 to determine the variable leverage increase treatment coverage. The data collected in this study include primary data and secondary data. The primary data obtained through interviews of 200 respondents to the questionnaire and also through Focus Group Discussion (FGD). Secondary data include population and filariasis treatment coverage of data obtained from the agency terkait.Variabel levers determined through the analysis of dynamic system modeling software powersim. The results showed that the variable lever to increase the coverage of treatment is to reduce the negative impact of drug side effects, increasing the number of cadres and knowledge as well as increased monitoring activities of treatment. Increased treatment coverage can be done through the declaration take medicine in the empowering cadres.Filariasis Preventive Mass Drug Administration (MDA) program supposed to covered at least 65% of the target. Background : Aim of the research was to acknowledge the effect of neonatal baby weight, age of birth giving, breast milk feeding on neonatal babys health status.Methode : The research design was a cross sectional study, with interview method and homevisit of 160 respondents. Samples were withdrawn with simple random sampling method. Data was analyzed with simple linier regression test, continued with multiple linier regression test. Results : Results of the research indicated that the weight of neonatal baby, the age of birth giving mother, age of pregnancy, and breast milk feeding have influences on the neonatal babys health status. Of the four variables, two of them were observed to have dominant influences of the baby health status in neoantal period in Siti Fatimah RSKDIA Makassar, i.e (?) 0.374 p=0,000 (37.4%) and mother breast feeding (?) 0.306 p=0.000 (30.6%)

Condensation in Globally Coupled Populations of Chaotic Dynamical Systems

The condensation transition, leading to complete mutual synchronization in large populations of globally coupled chaotic Roessler oscillators, is investigated. Statistical properties of this transition and the cluster structure of partially condensed states are analyzed.Comment: 11 pages, 4 figures, revte
