Here the role of database applicationprograms as the provision of computerized data are able to provide informationin a short time and easy to read. The author takes the case to the General FuelFilling Station (Gas Station), namely Nusa Indah Gas Stations 34-15142. It stillusing manual process in recording, counting and making sales report everymonth, therefore the use of a computerized system is expected to accelerate thework and resolve problems, supported by the speed of data processing andaccuracy of the data result.     Karakter Bubbledolls sebagai Penciptaan Seni Lukis

    Ide dari terciptanya karakter bubbledolls ini, saat dimana penulis mulai berkecimpung dalam dunia anak, penulis mulai tertarik pada gambar anak yang terlihat ceria. Mulai dari ekspresi, pewarnaan dan obyek yang digambar semua terlihat keceriaannya dan dapat membuat tertawa ketika melihatnya. Dalam berkarya penulis membuat karya dengan obyek karakter yang disebut Bubbledolls. Karakter Bubbledolls ialah sebuah karakter yang dibuat dengan berpaduan boneka dan gelembung. Namun tidak seperti boneka pada umumnya karena pada karakter ini bentuk boneka banyak yang di ganti. Namun tetap menampilkan kelucuan pada setiap karyanya. Tujuan dari penciptaan karya seni lukis ini adalah untuk mengeksplorasi karakter seni lukis dengan karakter Bubledolls ini agar lebih berkembang. Seni lukis dengan karakter Bubbledolls ini menggunakan metode penciptaan yang dimulai dari ide dan konsep, proses penciptaan,  visualisasi dan perwujudan. Karya yang dihasilkan ada Empat karya dengan bahan yang digunakan yaitu lukisan diatas kanvas, berdasarkan pengalaman yang membentuk ide dan dan konsep, yang masing -masing Karya pertama dengan judul “Demam Sosmed”.     Pasang surut air laut terhadap sungai Musi mempengaruhi tinggi muka air terutama di arealpersawahan pasang surut desa Merah Mata, Kelurahan Mariana Kecamatan Banyu Asin I, ProvinsiSumatera Selatan. Ketika air pasang naik melebihi elevasi ± 1,25 meter diukur dari titik ± 0,00 yangberada di pinggir sungai, tanaman padi akan tenggelam dan mengakibatkan padi rusak atau mati danbibit tanaman padi hanyut dibawa arus sungai Musi. Hal ini mengakibatkan para petani kesulitanuntuk meningkatkan hasil produksi tanaman padi, sehingga diperlukan teknologi alternatif sepertipembuatan pintu air otomatis counter weight dan stoplog. Peranan pintu air adalah untuk menahanmasuknya air pasang dan mengalirkannya ketika surut (time of drainage). Unjuk kerja dari pintu air otomatis tersebut dapat dijelaskan dengan membuat model berupa prototipe (model fisik) dengan suatuperbandingan ukuran atau skala tertentu melalui uji di laboratorium dengan menggunakan perhitungan secara analitis. Hasil uji laboratorium dan perhitungan analitis menunjukkan bahwa tinggi bukaan pintu air pada saat pasang dan surut dapat ditentukan berdasarkan sudut kemiringan awal dan berat pintu terhadap engsel serta berat bandul (counter weight), sehingga tinggi bukaan pintu yangdiinginkan agar tanaman tidak tenggelam, yaitu 1,25 m dapat dilakukan

    In Indonesia, dropout data is relatively high and is in the second position of the country with a high percentage of drop-out rates. The government has not so much been able to cope. Therefore, it is necessary to examine what factors cause the children to drop out of high school education, both in the first year, the second and the last. The research was conducted in Bukit Lipai Village, Batang Cenaku Sub-district, Indragiri Hulu Regency by taking samples of 34 high school students who dropped out of school. The data were analyzed descriptively quantitatively with the result of the research indicated that the characteristics of the families of students who had dropped out of high school education in Bukit Lipai village, Batang Cenaku subdistrict, viewed from the type of parent work were mostly farmers, planters and ranchers, The family decisions to drop out (droup-out) of their children, mostly in the middle of the road or in the second year of the ladder High school education with the main reason for the inability of financing so that on the basis of their own willingness to take the road to drop out of school. Factors that influence or become the main cause of students having dropped out of high school is the economic factor of the family that can not afford, so finally this factor result in -f Other non-economic actors such as the lack of education orand old who lack the willingness and insight for the future of children's education, family environment factors that are less supportive for the creation of an atmosphere of education in the household. All of these factors force directly or indirectly the students to accept the dropout situation in the middle of the road

    Biodiesel producted by transesterifiation reaction which on energy source. Biodiesel was developed in Indonesia as an anticipatis of energy crisis problem suppported by goverment national energy policy. This research is aimed to make biodiesel from cotton seed oil, studying the effect of agitation speed to the amount of biodiesel produced and determined the best catalyst activated by acid or base, and determined the characteristics of biodiesel produced. The transesterification process was occured at a temperature of 60oC, on weight of oil 100 grams, reaction time 1,5 hours, mole ratio of oil to methanol 1 : 9, catalyst concentration 0,5% -weight of oil for varions of agitation rate 400, 500 and 600 rpm, and variations of catalyst acid 0,47, 0,62 and 0,78% and alkaline activated with a concentration of 0,33, 0,44 and 0,66%. From the result was obtained the highest biodiesel yield of 95,45% for alkaline activated 0,66% for agitation speed of 400 rpm. Characterization of physical properties of biodiesel obtained here density of 878 kg/m3, 3,03 mm2/s kinematic viscosity, acid number 0.34 mg KOH/g sample, and the flash point 195oC

    Biodiesel is one of the alternative fuels as a substitute for fossil fuels synthesised from the transesterification reaction. The process of making biodiesel which using a homogeneous catalyst is costly for product separation process. Thus use of heterogeneous catalysts such as Ni/Clay catalyst was developed. This study aims to produce biodiesel from Hura crepitans Linn oil to determine best conditions of making biodiesel, determine the physical andchemical properties of biodiesel produced and studied the effect of the amount of Ni metal that has been impregnated on clay. In this process, the amount of oil use is 50 grams, 90 minute reaction time and concentration of catalyst 0.5%-b. Variations in reactants mole ratio oil : methanol 1 : 6, 1 : 9, 1 : 12, varying the amount of Ni metal 0%-b, 1%-b, 2%-b, 3%-b impregnated into the clay. The highest result biodiesel produced from Hura crepitans Linn oilwas 93.70% having mole ratio of oil : methanol 1 : 9 with Ni catalyst (3%). Physical properties obtained at biodiesl result density 884 kg / m3, kinematic viscosity 4.46 mm2/s,acid number 0.49 mg KOH/g sample and flash point is 185°C

    Global issues becoming a serious discussion in the depletion of oil reserves and coal. Dependence at fuel on nonrenewable energy sources should be avoided, sooner or later energy sources will run out. We have to look for other sources of energy that can be updated to cope of with these problems. One of the alternative energy that can be developed bio-oil. Bio-oil is produced with the use of biomass by pyrolysis process. The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of Mo metal on the catalyst Mo / NZA as well as influence of the catalyst on the bio-oil produced. Physical properties such as density, viscosity, acidity and a flash point of bio-oil were measured. And the chemical components of the bio-oil measured by GC-MS method. Pyrolysis using pine bark as much as 50 grams along with 500 ml silinap with variations Mo metal to NZA 0%; 0,5%; 1% and 1,5% w / w and the weight variation of the catalyst Mo/NZA 3%, 6% and 9% of the biomass. The process having stirring speed of 300 rpm and temperature of 320ºC for 120 min. The Highest yield of bio-oil obtained of 1,5% catalyst Mo/NZA with 9% of the amount of catalyst was 67,16%. From physical analysis conducted on bio-oil were obtained: density 0,781 g/ml, viscosity 2,094 cSt, acidity 20,906 mg NaOH/g sample, and the flash point 52 oC respectively. From the GC-MS analysis, the dominant chemical components at bio-oil is a 1-Propene (12,19%), 2-Pentene (8,2%), Pentane (10,54%), Cyclohexane (13,78%) and Heptane (3,52%) respectively

    The high dependence of fuel resource such as oil, coal, and gas will influence depletion of fossil resources (oil, natural gas, and coal). Therefore, it is important to study conversion of biomass to bioethanol as renewable energy to overcome dependence on fossil fuels. Production of bioethanol using free cell in fermentation and it several disadvantages in separation of yeast cells and biethanol concentration. This research was conducted the fermentation of nypa sap with immobilization cell, using tween 80 and ergosterol as suplement to obtain high concentration of bioethanol as well as avoid osmosis in cells . This work is aimed to study of bioethanol production from nypa sap using immobilized cells, to determine effect of cell immobilization weight and fermentation time to bioethanol, and to obtain maximum conditions on the process. Fermentation was conducted in 2L fermentor having variations of fermentation time such as 24, 36, 48, 60, 72, 84, and 96 hours respectively and cell immobilization weight e.g. 5 %w/v, 10 %w/v, 15 %w/v, and 20 %w/v respectively, and also addition of tween 80 of 0,2% v/v and ergosterol of 0,5 g/l. The concentration of bioethanol was increased with increases of immobilized cells. Maximum conditions of bioethanol production from nypa sap using immobilized cells are shown having cell immobilization weight of 20% w/v and fermentation hours 96th about 17,574 % v/v equal with 138,708 mg/ml
