    Analysis of Risk Mitigation Strategies on CV Surya CIP's Supply Chain Using House of Risk Model. In the supply chain activities always has the potential of risk, therefore risk management is necessary for handling the risks. At the company that produces plastic molding machine such as CV Surya CIP, in its supply chain activities have a chance to arise risks. The purpose of this study is to identify the various risks that occur in the CV Surya CIP and its causes, severity and determine the value of occurance of any risks incurred and determine appropriate risk mitigation strategies to mitigate them. The method used in this study is the House of Risk Model using matrix Aggregate Risk Potential (ARP), which can identify the causes and mitigation weights greatest risk. This method consists of two phases: the first phase to identify risks and risk agency, which then measuring the severity level and occurance as well as the calculation of the value of ARP. While the second phase which is handling the risks. The results showed that there were 17 occurrences of risk and 31 agents of risk, which could potentially occur in CV Surya CIP. From these results then elected two agencies risk becoming major cause of the incident, they are the risk of A3 (scarcity of raw materials), A17 (poor quality of raw materials) and A28 (Consumers can not pay order).     Detection and identification of mirror-image letter pairs in central and peripheral vision

    AbstractReading performance is poorer in the peripheral than in the central visual field, even after size-scaling to compensate for differences in visual acuity at the different eccentricities. Since several studies have indicated that the peripheral retina is deficient with respect to spatial phase discrimination, we compared the psychometric functions for detection (D) and identification (I) of size-scaled, mirror-symmetric letters (i.e. letters differing in the phase spectra of their odd symmetric components) at three inferior field eccentricities (0, 4, and 7.5 deg) using a two-alternative, temporal, forced-choice procedure and retinal image stabilization to control retinal locus. Each subject's data were fit with Weibull functions and tested for goodness-of-fit under several hypotheses. This analysis revealed that while the psychometric functions were of constant shape across eccentricity for the respective tasks, they showed statistically significant variations in the D/I threshold ratios. However, these variations were so small that poorer reading outside the fovea is unlikely to be due to reduced letter discriminability that might occur secondary to a loss of peripheral field phase sensitivity

    Preparation and characterization of electrolytic alumina deposit on austenitic stainless steel

    Conversion coating modified by alumina has been studied as a way for improving the resistance to thermal oxidation of an austenitic stainless steel. Conversion coating, characterized by a particular morphology and strong interfacial adhesion with the substrate, facilitate the electrochemical deposition of ceramic layers and enhance their adhesion to the substrate. The influence of the current density and treatment time on alumina deposit was studied using statistical experimental designs like Doehlert uniform shell design. After heating, coatings present a continuous composition gradient with refractory compounds at the surface. The behavior at high temperature (1000 8C) of the alumina coating was investigated. The presence of alumina increases the oxidation resistance of an austenitic stainless steel at 1000 8C. The morphology and the chemical composition of the deposit are analyzed. Results on the thermal stability of coating on austenitic stainless steel are presented

The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method of analytical and evaluative, by analyzing the impact of the implementation of the ERP system to the components of the user's performance.     Studi Sebaran Sedimen secara Vertikal di Perairan Selat Madura Kabupaten Bangkalan

    Profil sedimen secara vertikal menjadi salah satu indikasi untuk mempelajari kronologis suatu wilayah, termasuk pantai dan pesisir. Pemahaman ini penting untuk mengetahui pola sedimentasi yang terjadi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui stratifikasi sedimen sebagai bahan awal untuk mempelajari pola sedimentasi di perairan sekitar Jembatan Suramadu. Materi utama penelitian adalah substrat sedimen pada profil kedalaman di 5 stasiun, dan didukung data parameter hidrooseanografi. Analisa contoh sedimen menggunakan skala Wentworth sesuai metode Buchanan (Siswanto, 2010). Hasil visualisasi lapang dan analisa laboratorium atas contoh substrat sedimen menunjukkan bahwa jenis sedimen pada 5 stasiun menunjukkan variasi meski tidak signifikan, dengan dominasi secara umum adalah pasir dan ketebalan yang relatif beragam. Profil jenis sedimen sesuai kedalaman pada kedua sisi Jembatan Suramadu relatif berbeda, pasir berbatu pada sisi barat dan pasir berlumpur pada sisi timur
