Abstract

Analysis of Risk Mitigation Strategies on CV Surya CIP's Supply Chain Using House of Risk Model. In the supply chain activities always has the potential of risk, therefore risk management is necessary for handling the risks. At the company that produces plastic molding machine such as CV Surya CIP, in its supply chain activities have a chance to arise risks. The purpose of this study is to identify the various risks that occur in the CV Surya CIP and its causes, severity and determine the value of occurance of any risks incurred and determine appropriate risk mitigation strategies to mitigate them. The method used in this study is the House of Risk Model using matrix Aggregate Risk Potential (ARP), which can identify the causes and mitigation weights greatest risk. This method consists of two phases: the first phase to identify risks and risk agency, which then measuring the severity level and occurance as well as the calculation of the value of ARP. While the second phase which is handling the risks. The results showed that there were 17 occurrences of risk and 31 agents of risk, which could potentially occur in CV Surya CIP. From these results then elected two agencies risk becoming major cause of the incident, they are the risk of A3 (scarcity of raw materials), A17 (poor quality of raw materials) and A28 (Consumers can not pay order).
