    Advancing Wound Filling Extraction on 3D Faces: A Auto-Segmentation and Wound Face Regeneration Approach

    Facial wound segmentation plays a crucial role in preoperative planning and optimizing patient outcomes in various medical applications. In this paper, we propose an efficient approach for automating 3D facial wound segmentation using a two-stream graph convolutional network. Our method leverages the Cir3D-FaIR dataset and addresses the challenge of data imbalance through extensive experimentation with different loss functions. To achieve accurate segmentation, we conducted thorough experiments and selected a high-performing model from the trained models. The selected model demonstrates exceptional segmentation performance for complex 3D facial wounds. Furthermore, based on the segmentation model, we propose an improved approach for extracting 3D facial wound fillers and compare it to the results of the previous study. Our method achieved a remarkable accuracy of 0.9999986\% on the test suite, surpassing the performance of the previous method. From this result, we use 3D printing technology to illustrate the shape of the wound filling. The outcomes of this study have significant implications for physicians involved in preoperative planning and intervention design. By automating facial wound segmentation and improving the accuracy of wound-filling extraction, our approach can assist in carefully assessing and optimizing interventions, leading to enhanced patient outcomes. Additionally, it contributes to advancing facial reconstruction techniques by utilizing machine learning and 3D bioprinting for printing skin tissue implants.     Application of Self-Supervised Learning to MICA Model for Reconstructing Imperfect 3D Facial Structures

    In this study, we emphasize the integration of a pre-trained MICA model with an imperfect face dataset, employing a self-supervised learning approach. We present an innovative method for regenerating flawed facial structures, yielding 3D printable outputs that effectively support physicians in their patient treatment process. Our results highlight the model's capacity for concealing scars and achieving comprehensive facial reconstructions without discernible scarring. By capitalizing on pre-trained models and necessitating only a few hours of supplementary training, our methodology adeptly devises an optimal model for reconstructing damaged and imperfect facial features. Harnessing contemporary 3D printing technology, we institute a standardized protocol for fabricating realistic, camouflaging mask models for patients in a laboratory environment

    Improvement of Step Tracking Algorithm Used for Mobile Receiver System via Satellite

    In the mobile communication via satellite, received systems are mounted on the mobile device such as ship, train, car or airplane. In order to receive continuous signals, received antenna system must be steered in both the azimuthal and elevation angle to track a satellite. This paper proposes the improved step-tracking algorithm using for mobile receiver system via satellite Vinasat I. This paper also presents the results of study, design and manufacture of the discrete-time controller system for the fast tracking of a satellite by applying an improved step tracking algorithm with fuzzy proportional integral derivative proportional integral derivative controller. Simulated and experimental results indicate that the system performances obtain from applying the improved step tracking algorithm and the fuzzy controller was better than traditional control systems

    Factors Affecting Cooperation in the International Supply Chain of Seafood Enterprises: the Case of Vietnamese

    Purpose: The purpose of this research is to analyze and evaluate factors affecting cooperation in the international supply chain of Vietnamese seafood enterprises.   Theoretical framework: Operations in international business context are associated with high risks, so cooperation in supply chain helps to improve management flexibility. On the other hand, acccording to the theory of resource dependency, resource sharing and information sharing strategies can affect the quality and the level of cooperation among supply chain partners.   Design/methodology/approach: To achieve the aim of this study, a literature survey related to supply chain and supply chain cooperation is carried out, and empirical analysis is conducted among 327 partners in seafood industry with the results analyzed using Cronbach’s Alpha analysis, exploratory factor analysis (EFA), and linear regression analysis (RA).   Findings: Research results have confirmed that there are six main factors directly affecting the international supply chain cooperation of Vietnamese seafood enterprises including: (1) Trust; (2) Power; (3) Distance; (4) Government policy; (5) Cooperation strategies and (6) Information sharing.   Research/Practical & Social implication: The encouraging policies and simplified export regulations are to be implemented by the government, VASEP and enterprises so the knowledge about international supply chain cooperation will be promoted with the help of comprehensive future research directions.   Originality/value: This is literally one of the first research works in Vietnam to incorporate the information sharing component into the model of affecting factors for international supply chain cooperation. Regardless of business uncertainties, the study shed new light on supply chain cooperation and promote firms to gain an edge in the global marketplace

    Study on association between SLC2A9 rs3733591 and Gout susceptibility in 481 Vietnamese individuals

    Gout is a common form of inflammatory arthritis that is strongly associated with elevated uric acid concentration in the blood. The development of the disease is not only triggered by environmental factors but also genetic variations. Previous studies demonstrated that the genetic associations with gout vary in different populations in the world. This study aimed to identify the relationship between SLC2A9 rs3733591 and gout susceptibility in the Vietnamese population. Total DNAs were extracted from 481 blood samples including 160 patients with gout and 321 age-matched healthy controls. The genotyping of SLC2A9 rs3733591 was performed using polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism (PCR-RFLP). Chi-squared test was used to test whether the genotypes frequencies of rs3733591 follow Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium (HWE) and to check its association with gout in three models (additive, recessive, dominant) and allele form. The result showed that SLC2A9 rs3733591 was in agreement with Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium (p>0.05). However, there was no association between the rs3733591 and gout in any tested models (p>0.05). This study will contribute to the genetic study of gout susceptibility in Vietnam

    Design of a Front-End for Satellite Receiver

    This paper focuses on the design and implementation of a front-end for a Vinasat satellite receiver with auto-searching mechanism and auto-tracking satellite. The front-end consists of a C-band low-noise block down-converter and a L-band receiver. The receiver is designed to meet the requirements about wide-band, high sensitivity, large dynamic range, low noise figure. To reduce noise figure and increase bandwidth, the C-band low-noise amplifier is designed using T-type of matching network with negative feedback and the L-band LNA is designed using cascoded techniques. The local oscillator uses a voltage controlled oscillator combine phase locked loop to reduce the phase noise and select channels. The front-end has successfully been designed and fabricated with parameters: Input frequency is C-band; sensitivity is greater than -130 dBm for C-band receiver and is greater than -110dBm for L-band receiver; output signals are AM/FM demodulation, I/Q demodulation, baseband signals
