OPERA (Oscillation Project with Emulsion tRacking Apparatus)is an international collaboration between Europe and Asia, aiming to give the first direct proof of tau neutrino appearance in a pure muon neutrino beam, in order to validate the hypothesis for atmospheric neutrino oscillations. The first european long baseline neutrino beam called CNGS is produced at CERN and sent in the direction of the Gran Sasso underground laboratory 730 km away, where the OPERA detector is located. Since 2006 the electronic detector part is fully commissioned and running. Cosmic ray events have been recorded on a regular basis and the first neutrino beam events have been observed in the target elements made of very precise emulsion films and lead sheets during the last run in autumn 2007. This paper reviews the status of the detector, the beam performances, the first results from the neutrino event analysis and the prospects.OPERA (Oscillation Project with Emulsion tRacking Apparatus)is an international collaboration between Europe and Asia, aiming to give the first direct proof of tau neutrino appearance in a pure muon neutrino beam, in order to validate the hypothesis for atmospheric neutrino oscillations. L’auteur, qui fut rédacteur en chef de Circuit, réfléchit sur l’état et l’avenir de la revue en revenant sur la question de sa pertinence par rapport à une longue tradition du discours sur la musique qui s’inscrit dans la lignée de la presse musicale francophone au xxe siècle et inclut des revues telles Le Ménestrel (1833-1940), Le Monde musical (1889-1940), Le Courrier musical (1898-1933) et surtout la Revue musicale, en plein foisonnement à partir des années 1920.The author, former Editor-in-Chief of the journal, considers the current state and the future of Circuit by bringing it back to the question of its relevance with respect to a long tradition of discourse on music found in the pages of the French-language musical press throughout the 20th century, a tradition which includes such journals as Le Ménestrel (1833-1940), Le Monde musical (1889-1940), Le Courrier musical (1898-1933) and especially the Revue musicale, which flourished beginning in the 1920s
