MeV Tau Neutrino in Gauge Mediated Supersymmetry Breaking Model
A supersymmetric model which naturally accommodates MeV tau neutrino within
the framework of gauge mediated supersymmetry breaking is described. The lepton
number violation is originally introduced in the messenger sector of the
theory. A large slepton-Higgs mixing mass and a small lepton-higgsino mixing
mass are generated at one-loop. Scalar tau neutrino has non-vanishing vacuum
expectation value. These result in a non-zero \nu_{\tau} mass which is in the

Interacting Growth Walk - a model for hyperquenched homopolymer glass?
We show that the compact self avoiding walk configurations, kinetically
generated by the recently introduced Interacting Growth Walk (IGW) model, can
be considered as members of a canonical ensemble if they are assigned random
values of energy. Such a mapping is necessary for studying the thermodynamic
behaviour of this system. We have presented the specific heat data for the IGW,
obtained from extensive simulations on a square lattice; we observe a broad
hump in the specific heat above the -point, contrary to expectation.Comment: 4 figures; Submitted to PR
New mechanism to cross the phantom divide
Recently, type Ia supernovae data appear to support a dark energy whose
equation of state crosses -1, which is a much more amazing problem than the
acceleration of the universe. We show that it is possible for the equation of
state to cross the phantom divide by a scalar field in the gravity with an
additional inverse power-law term of Ricci scalar in the Lagrangian. The
necessary and sufficient condition for a universe in which the dark energy can
cross the phantom divide is obtained. Some analytical solutions with or
are obtained. A minimal coupled scalar with different potentials,
including quadratic, cubic, quantic, exponential and logarithmic potentials are
investigated via numerical methods, respectively. All these potentials lead to
the crossing behavior. We show that it is a robust result which is hardly
dependent on the concrete form of the potential of the scalar.Comment: 11 pages, 5 figs, v3: several references added, to match the

Observation of Two New N* Peaks in J/psi -> and Decays
The system in decays of is limited to be
isospin 1/2 by isospin conservation. This provides a big advantage in studying
compared with and experiments which mix
isospin 1/2 and 3/2 for the system. Using 58 million decays
collected with the Beijing Electron Positron Collider, more than 100 thousand
events are obtained. Besides two well known
peaks at 1500 MeV and 1670 MeV, there are two new, clear peaks in
the invariant mass spectrum around 1360 MeV and 2030 MeV. They are the
first direct observation of the peak and a long-sought "missing"
peak above 2 GeV in the invariant mass spectrum. A simple
Breit-Wigner fit gives the mass and width for the peak as MeV and MeV, and for the new peak above 2 GeV
as MeV and MeV, respectively
Search for Invisible Decays of and in and
Using a data sample of decays collected with the BES
II detector at the BEPC, searches for invisible decays of and
in to and are performed.
The signals, which are reconstructed in final states, are used
to tag the and decays. No signals are found for the
invisible decays of either or , and upper limits at the 90%
confidence level are determined to be for the ratio
and for . These are the first

broad resonance with mass MeV, width MeV. A broad resonance peaking at 2020 MeV is also required
