User awareness simply means to educate the user. Readers are not aware with the library procedures systems and collection. The topic of present study is “Awareness and use of E-Resources in Delhi university, Jamia Millia Islamia and jawaharlal Nehru: A comparative study” the main objective of the study is to find out the awareness and use of E-resources among the users of sample of selected universities and also provide the basic information about information sources and resources and how to exploit such resources effectively and efficiently. Through purposive sampling about 200 users from each university were selected for the proposed study. Sample of 600 users from Delhi University, Jamia Millia Islamia, and Jawaharlal Nehru University. The questionnaire was developed was researcher and used as a tool of data collection. Data was analyzed through percentage method. The main finding of the study is that it was found that UG & PG students of JMI, JNU and DU are 100% aware about the book service available in the library

A Comprehensive Analysis on Solar PV Maximum Power Point Tracking Techniques

In this paper, electrical power is generated from solar energy using Solar PV cell. The system is designed with 1- KW PV module and connected with DC/DC converters with DC load. There are two main drawbacks with PV plants, the high cost of PV cells and their conversion efficiency. In the I-V characteristics of PV module which is non-linear but has a unique maximum power point. To increase or to maximize the output power of photo-voltaic system Maximum power point tracking (MPPT) techniques are used. These techniques give maximum output power, irrespective of the irradiation condition, temperature and load electrical characteristics. For the purpose of tracking the maximum power the MPPT techniques use some electronic converters. This paper presents comparative analysis of two well-known maximum power point tracking algorithms- perturb-and- observe (P&O), and Fuzzy Logic Control Technique (FLC) are utilized with DC-DC Buck-Boost converters to observe various output response like power and voltage and comparisons between the controlling techniques using FLC and P&O for Solar PV system which provides a convenient choice of right technique for DC micro grid system and find out the efficiency of the converter

Kalman Filter Based Approach of a signal by removing ICI for OFDM Channel

Abstract— This paper deals with the case of a high speed mobile receiver operating in an orthogonal-frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) communication system. The OFDM communication is very much inspired from the channel frequencies over the network. In such network some kind of orthogonal distortion occurs over the channel called Inter carrier Interference. Here we will improve the ICI using Kalman Filtering improved by using repetitive slot and correlated channel tap. The proposed work of this paper is when data travel over some channel it suffers from the problem of interference. The interference results the high signal to noise ratio as well as high bit error rate. The proposed system will improved the signal by removing the different kind of impurities over the signal. These impurities include the ICI, PAPR and the noise over the signal. The signal will be more effective than standard OFDM. So we needn't many pilot symbols in practice, still can ensure the algorithm performance and reduce the time- delay and complexity of this algorithm

Objective: To determine the role of helical C.T. scan in the diagnosis of pulmonary embolism.SETTING: Radiology department, Aga Khan University Hospital. One year prospective study May 2001 to May 2002.Methods: Sixty patients suspected of having pulmonary embolism were included in this study. Helical C.T. scan chest was performed from aortic arch to lung bases with intravenous contrast medium. Images were acquired in mediastinal and lung windows. Image interpretation was performed on the console and hard copies for main branch and segmental thrombus. Results: Fifteen patients were diagnosed of having pulmonary embolism on C.T. scan. Clinical correlation and follow up with pulmonary angiography and Doppler ultrasound of leg was carried out. Pulmonary angiography was performed in one patient with embolectomy done after confirmation of diagnosis. 8 patients had associated DVT confirmed on Doppler sonography. Sensitivity of helical C.T. is 93.75%, specificity 100% and positive predictive value 95.65%.CONCLUSION: Helical CT scan is a quick, easy and accurate imaging modality for diagnosing pulmonary embolism

Review Paper: Real Time Based Data Acquisition System

The aim of this thesis is to implement and design a data acquisition system (DAQ) by using MATLAB. Early persons look at a scientific instrument and writes down observations. This became unchanged until the paper-based chart recorder became available. The digital computer acquired data, stored automatically and also analyses and reports it.DAQ is a group of interconnected hardware or electronic instruments to the measurement of analogue and digital signals. This paper introduces DAQ (Data Acquisition) process based on MATLAB of bringing a real-world signal we are trying to measure or capture the data from LED panels, digital read out type instruments, deflection needle type instruments and other physically observed like number of objects persons, observable weather conditions, entering a room or lighting conditions, into computer, for processing, storage or analysis. Generally for processing purpose, transmission and display analogue data is first collected and then transformed into the digital form

Introduction: Multiple sclerosis (MS) is an important cause of long standing disability especially in adult females. The incidence is more in Europe. In Europe specially in USA and UK the prevalence is about 120/ 100,000. The annual incidence is around 7 per 100,000, while the life time risk of developing MS is about 1in 400. The incidence of MS is higher in northern Europeans, and the disease is about twice as common in females. Objectives: To study various ways the patients of multiple sclerosis presented in the department of neurology atObjectives: To study various ways the patients of multiple sclerosis presented in the department of neurology at Royal commission hospital Yanbu, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.Materials and Methods: This is new as well newly diagnosed patients who presented in the emergency as well as outpatient department of neurology at Royal Commission hospital Yanbu, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Yanbu is one of the biggest industrial city of Saudi Arabia. Duration of study was two years; from January 2011 to December 2012. The study included 50 patients. We diagnosed 45 patients ourselves and 5 patients were following in the neurology OPD.Results: The age range was 17 – 58; 38 patients were females and 2 were males. Most of the affected patients were in the age range of 17 – 36. Mean duration of illness was from 1 – 9 years. In most of the patients, the initial presentation was weakness and visual loss. Most of the patients were started on interferons and they has very good outcome. Conclusions: Multiple sclerosis involves both brain and spinal cord. Early diagnosis and treatment promises good outcome and rehabilitation. The new treatment modalities have played revolutionary role in modulating the disease. Abbreviations: MS = Multiple sclerosis
