Magnetic field dependence of conductivity and effective mass of carriers in a model of Mott-Hubbard material
The influence of external magnetic field on a static conductivity of
Mott-Hubbard material which is described by model with correlated hopping of
electrons has been investigated. By means of canonical transformation the
effective Hamiltonian which takes into account strong intra-site Coulomb
repulsion and correlated hopping is obtained. Using a variant of generalized
Hartree-Fock approximation the single-electron Green function and quasiparticle
energy spectrum of the model have been calculated. The static conductivity
has been calculated as a function of , electron concentration
and temperature . The correlated hopping is shown to cause the electron-hole
asymmetry of transport properties of narrow band materials.Comment: 10 pages, 7 figures, submitted to Condensed Matter Physics journa
Energy spectrum of a doubly orbitally degenerate model with non-equivalent subbands
In the present paper we investigate a doubly orbitally degenerate narrowband
model with correlated hopping. The model peculiarity takes into account
the matrix element of electron-electron interaction which describes
intersite hoppings of electrons. In particular, this leads to the concentration
dependence of the effective hopping integral. The cases of the strong and
weak Hund’s coupling are considered. By means of a generalized mean-
field approximation the single-particle Green function and quasiparticle energy
spectrum are calculated. Metal-insulator transition is studied in the
model at different integer values of the electron concentration. Using the
obtained energy spectrum we find criteria of metal-insulator transition.
Influence of magnetic field on transport properties of materials with double orbital degeneracy
Static electric conductivity and effective masses of current carriers for a syatem with doubly orbitally degenerate energy band are calculated. For the ground state at different forms of unperturbed density of electronic states the concentrational dependencies of principal transport characteristics within the band filling interval n<1 are investigated. It is shown that the realization of the ferromagnetic ordering induced by translational mechanism modifies substantially both conductivity and effective masses. Influence of the external magnetic field on the transport properties of Mott-Hubbard material is studied in detail

Correlation effects in narrow energy bands. I. E nergy spectrum of modified form of polar model
The electron correlations in narrow energy bands are examined within the framework of the modified form of polar model. This model takes into account both intra-atomic and inter-atomic Coulomb correlations, interatomic exchange and correlated hopping of electrons. The correlated hopping is shown to cause the electron-hole asymmetry of electric properties of narrow band materials. Using a variant of generalized Hartree-Fock approximation the single-electron Green function and quasi-particle energy spectrum of the model are calculated. The metal-insulator transition at increase of temperature is explained
Effective hamiltonian of periodic anderson model for description of systems with quantum dots
On the basis of the canonical transformation method the effective Hamiltonian of Anderson-Hubbard model taking into account the basic types of interactions in localized and itinerant electron subsystems as well as the hybridization of these subsystems has been obtained in this paper. The canonical transformation operator has been chosen if form which separate processes of Hubbard subband analogues formation and and those responsible for the indirect exchange between the magnetic moments as well as BCS-type interaction in the itinerant subsystem. The obtained effective Hamiltonian allows to classify processes of indirect exchange and indirect hopping for the systems with Anderson-Hubbard centers
