    Application of Nursing Risk Management in Patients with Cardiovascular Emergencies

    Objectives: To study the nursing effect of nursing risk management in patients with acute cardiovascular disease. Methods: A total of 62 acute and critical cardiovascular patients admitted to the Second People's Hospital of Shandong Province from November 2021 to January 2023 were selected as the study objects, and the patients were randomly divided into control group and observation group. The control group adopted conventional nursing methods, while nursing risk management measures were carried out in the observation group. The nursing effects of the two groups were compared, and the incidence rate and patient satisfaction were analyzed according to the time. Results: The effective rate of the observation group was 93.55%, significantly higher than 61.29% of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). The occurrence of risk events in observation group was significantly less than that in control group, and patient satisfaction was significantly higher than that in control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: Nursing risk management could significantly improve the nursing effect of patients, reduce the occurrence of risk events, improve patient satisfaction, has a certain application value

    A fast-multi-pole accelerated method of fundamental solutions for 2-D broadband scattering of SH waves in an infinite half space

    The traditional method of fundamental solution (T-MFS) is known as an effective method for solving the scattering of elastic waves, but the T-MFS is inefficient in solving large-scale or broadband frequency problems. Therefore, in order to improve the performance in efficiency and memory requirement for treating practical complex 2-D broadband scattering problems, a new algorithm of fast multi-pole accelerated method of fundamental solution (FM-MFS) is proposed. Taking the 2-D scattering of SH waves around irregular scatterers in an elastic half-space as an example, the implementation steps are presented in detail. Based on the accuracy and efficiency verification, the FM-MFS is applied to solve the broadband frequency scattering of plane SH waves around group cavities, inclusions, a V-shaped canyon and a semi-elliptical hill. It shows that, compared with T-MFS, the FM-MFS has great advantages in reducing the consumed CPU time and memory for 2-D broadband scattering. Besides, the FM-MFS has excellent adaptability both for broad-frequency and complex-shaped scattering problems

    Pathologic complete response of hepatoid adenocarcinoma of the stomach after chemo-immunotherapy: A rare case report and literature review

    BackgroundHepatoid adenocarcinoma of the stomach (HAS) is a highly malignant subtype of gastric carcinoma with specific clinicopathological features and extremely poor prognosis. We present an exceedingly rare case of complete response after chemo-immunotherapy.Case DescriptionA 48-year-old woman with highly elevated serum alpha-fetoprotein (AFP) level was found to have HAS verified by pathological examination based on gastroscopy. Computed tomography scan was done and TNM staging of the tumor was T4aN3aMx. Programmed cell death ligand-1 (PD-L1) immunohistochemistry was performed, revealing a negative PD-L1 expression. Chemo-immunotherapy including oxaliplatin plus S-1 and PD-1 inhibitor terelizumab was given to this patient for 2 months until the serum AFP level decreased from 748.5 to 12.9 ng/mL and the tumor shrank. D2 radical gastrectomy was then performed and histopathology of the resected specimen revealed that the cancerous cells had disappeared. Pathologic complete response (pCR) was achieved and no evidence of recurrence has been found after 1 year of follow-up.ConclusionsWe, for the first time, reported an HAS patient with negative PD-L1 expression who achieved pCR from the combined chemotherapy and immunotherapy. Although no consensus has been reached regarding the therapy, it might provide a potential effective management strategy for HAS patient

    Bibliography: p. 105-108Some pages are in colour.Nonstationary wavelet simulation and estimation methods are closely related to nonstationary seismic modeling and nonstationary deconvolution. Conventional wavelet estimation and deconvolution do not deal with the nonstationarity of the wavelet. This thesis begins with an investigation of the methods for nonstationary wavelet simulation that can be used to generate realistic synthetic seismograms. Then this thesis examines methods of wavelet estimation using I-D attenuated synthetic data and real data. These estimation approaches are the basis for Wiener deconvolution (time domain), Wiener deconvolution (frequency domain), and Gabor deconvolution. For comparison, the wavelet is also estimated from downgoing waves isolated from a VSP experiment which gives direct recordings of the nonstationary wavelet. Finally, a new approach is provided for evaluating the accuracy of the nonstationary wavelet estimates by the VSP downgoing wavelets. This result shows that the wavelets estimated from Gabor deconvolution are more stable and closer to the wavelet estimates from VSP data than those from multi-window Wiener and frequency-domain spiking deconvolution

    To investigate the effect of post-harvest light irradiation on the accumulation of flavonoids and limonoids, harvested Newhall navel oranges were continuously exposed to light-emitting diode (LED) and ultraviolet (UV) light irradiation for 6 days, and the composition and content of flavonoids and limonoids in the segments were determined using UPLC-qTOF-MS at 0, 6, and 15 days after harvest. In total, six polymethoxylated flavonoids (PMFs), five flavone-O/C-glycosides, seven flavanone-O-glycosides, and three limonoids were identified in the segments. The accumulation of these components was altered by light irradiation. Red and blue light resulted in higher levels of PMFs during exposure periods. The accumulation of PMFs was also significantly induced after white light, UVB and UVC irradiation were removed. Red and UVC irradiation induced the accumulation of flavone and flavanone glycosides throughout the entire experimental period. Single light induced limonoid accumulation during exposure periods, but limonoid levels decreased significantly when irradiation was removed. Principal component analysis showed a clear correlation between PMFs and white light, between flavonoid glycosides and red light and UVC, and between limonoids and UVC. These results suggest that the accumulation of flavonoids and limonoids in citrus is regulated by light irradiation. White light, red light and UVC irradiation might be a good potential method for improving the nutrition and flavor quality of post-harvest citrus
