The relevance of the research is connected with the fact that the situation with the youth health in Russia leaves much to be desired. The main reason for it is an unhealthy lifestyle of young people. The goal of this paper consists in justification of organizational and methodological conditions for the realization of a system of pedagogical orientation of students to a healthy lifestyle. The main technique used by us for studying this problem was questioning; it has allowed us to reveal the situation of pernicious habits among young people. The analysis of questioning results has demonstrated the insufficiency of substantive, organizational, methodological, and procedural issues of the current solution to the problem of the orientation of students to a healthy lifestyle in theory, as well as their fragmentary and nonconsecutive use in practice. The research involved students of Kazan (Volga region) Federal University. In this paper we presents health barriers, analyze factors that stimulate the willingness of students to lead a healthy lifestyle, develop a technology for stimulating students to leading a healthy lifestyle, and describe the substantial side of guidance activities in the university that stimulate students to personal health improvement and self-development. We also justify various types of guidance activities, propose certain ways to optimize organizational and methodological support of teaching. Results obtained in this paper can be of interest both to administration and faculty of higher educational establishments and to students

© 2016 Kalimullin and Dobrotvorskaya. The relevance of studying the stated problem is due to the fact that for increasing the efficiency of higher education marketing it is necessary to take into account several factors, namely, factors that impact the choice of a university and an academic program by enrollees, as well as socio-psychological characteristics of the latter, while systematic research of this problem has not been done by now. The goal of this paper is to give recommendations for the implementation of higher education marketing strategies aimed at potential enrollees. The main method used by us for studying the stated problem was the questioning of 1515 enrollees of Kazan (Volga region) Federal University (KFU) with subsequent statistical data processing. Namely, by using techniques of cluster, factor, and correlation analysis we have succeeded in determining certain characteristic features of enrollees and main factors that impact the choice of a university and an academic program by enrollees; we have also ranked these factors. We refine factors that impact the choice of a university and an academic program by enrollees, rank their motives for entering a university, reveal factors that influence the total number of enrollees in a university, and determine new academic programs demanded by enrollees. Basing on the obtained results, we propose a model of an enrollee of one of Russian universities and prove that the implementation of an education marketing strategy should take into account the factors that impact the choice of a university and an academic program by enrollees, as well as socio-psychological characteristics of the latter. The practical value of obtained results consists in their applicability to the implementation of higher education marketing strategies. The recommendations proposed by us can contribute to increasing the competitiveness of universities among enrollees

The article covers the problem of using "hidden" symbols that are actually imperceptible without purposeful very careful examination of advertising picture. On the other hand "hidden" symbols in advertising are highly effective as a psychological effect on consumer. The authors discuss specifics of psychological effect of "hidden" symbols in advertising, analyze some symbols that may be found in today advertising and demonstrate specifics of perception dependence of sex. The authors have came to conclusion that hidden symbols in advertising pictures are not always carefully selected and do not reflect initial intention. Besides "hidden" symbols often contradict with advertising idea

© 2015 by ASERS Publishing. In this paper, the specifics of advertizing travel services are analyzed, as it is represented in different countries. The authors refer to advertisements offered by the most recognized travel agencies of Europe (Portugal, Italy and the United Kingdom), Asia (represented by Thailand), North (the USA and Canada) and South America (Brazil), and of Russia, as well. We have defined the specifics of advertizing, aimed at European, Asian, American and Russian consumers. Some problematic points have been detected in the advertizing messages, designed by Russian travel agencies. We give the analysis of the advertizing messages employed in the Russian advertizing of travel services, using particular examples, created by a travel agency and placed in the social network “Vkontakte”

© 2015, Econjournals. All rights reserved. The article substantiates the need of the preliminary psychological examination of advertising. An overview and analysis of contemporary conceptual lines of the hotel advertising are given in the article. Features of advertising messages are shown on the example of some hotels. The effects arising from the improper construction of the advertising composition are given. Conclusions, revealing features of advertising strategies in the hotel business, in contrast to advertising in the commodity market are made

Dependences of thermoelectric properties on the thickness of thin films of indium doped lead telluride

    Get PDF
Dependences of thermoelectric properties (the Seebeck coefficient S, the electric conductivity σ, the Hall coefficient RH, the carrier mobilityμ and the thermoelectric power P = S²·σ) on the thickness d (d = 10 – 255 nm) of thin films prepared by vacuum evaporation of indiumdoped PbTe crystals and subsequent condensation on (111) BaF₂ substrates were obtained. With decreasing thickness of films to d ≈ 40 nm, there is n- to p-type inversion of conduction which is related to a change in thermodynamic equilibrium conditions and partial reevaporation of lead and/or indium atoms. Extremes were found on the thickness dependences of properties at d₁ ≈ 20 nm which is indicative of hole gas quantization. In the range of thicknesses with n-type conduction there is a smooth change in thermoelectric properties with thickness which testifies to manifestation of classical size effect and is sufficiently well described in the framework of the Fuchs-Sondheimer theory

© 2014 Elsevier Ltd. Expression of vasoactive intestinal peptide (VIP), neuronal nitric oxide synthase (nNOS), choline acetyltransferase (ChAT) and calcitonin gene-related peptide (CGRP) in the sympathetic ganglia was investigated by immunohistochemistry in the superior cervical ganglion (SCG), stellate ganglion (SG) and celiac ganglion (CG) from cats of different ages (newborn, 10-day-old, 20-day-old, 30-day-old and 2-month-old). Non-catecholaminergic TH-negative VIP-immunoreactive (IR) and nNOS-IR sympathetic ganglionic neurons are present from the moment of birth. In all studied age groups, substantial populations of VIP-IR (up to 9.8%) and nNOS-IR cells (up to 8.3%) was found in the SG, with a much smaller population found in the SCG (<1%) and only few cells observed in the CG. The percentage of nNOS-IR and VIP-IR neurons in the CG and SCG did not significantly change during development. The proportion of nNOS-IR and VIP-IR neuron profiles in the SG increased in first 20 days of life from 2.3 ± 0.15% to 8.3 ± 0.56% and from 0.3 ± 0.05% to 9.2 ± 0.83%, respectively. In the SG, percentages of nNOS-IR sympathetic neurons colocalizing VIP increased in the first 20 days of life. ChAT-IR and CGRP-IR neurons were not observed in the sympathetic ganglia of newborn animals and did not appear until 10 days after birth. In the SG of newborn and 10-day-old kittens, the majority of NOS-IR neurons were calbindin (CB)-IR, whereas in the SCG and CG of cats of all age groups and in the SG of 30-day-old and older kittens, the vast majority of NOS-IR neurons lacked CB. We conclude that the development of various non-catecholaminergic neurons in different sympathetic ganglia has its own time dynamics and is concluded at the end of the second month of life
