Features in Formation and Properties of Langmuir-Blodgett Monolayers

    Get PDF
Features in formation of Langmuir-Blodgett films and possible control and study of their properties directly in deposing them onto sub-strates are studied. Linearity of the dependence of polarization on the slope angle of the static dipole moment for C18H36O2 and C18H34O2 has been checked. The Photoluminescence Properties of Ablated ZrO[2] Nanoparticles

    Get PDF
The method of optical spectroscopy determined photoluminescence properties of zirconia nanoparticles produced by laser ablation. The effect of annealing of nanoparticles in the range from 400 to 1000 Β°C on their luminescence is investigated. It is shown that the emission of the luminescence make it possible to conclude about the type of defects in the structure of nanoparticles and their dynamics during annealing. A qualitative explanation of the detected patterns is provided

Processes of Defragmentation, Thermocapillary Extraction and Agglomeration of Ultradispersed Gold from Mineral Raw Materials and Technogenic Products within Laser Radiation Field

    Get PDF
According to the analysis of the results of complex studies of mineral raw materials and man-handle products containing ultra-dispersed gold, silver, and platinum before and after laser treatment, a qualitative physical model which explains the origin of thermal processes occurring under the action of laser radiation is proposed. It is noted that laser treatment of those materials generates processes of defragmentation, thermocapillary extraction, and agglomeration of micro-and nanoinclusions of these metals. Microstructural Barrier-locking Formation Mechanism of Dispersed Current-forming Components of Current Power Supply

    Get PDF
The influences of carbon additive on the structure and phase composition of the positive electrode ma-terial as well as technical and operational characteristics of starter lead-acid batteries have been studied. The mechanism of interaction of carbon additives with lead powder is proposed. It is established that the presence of carbon in the positive electrode material increases the lifetime of lead-acid starter batteries, as confirmed by tests. Defragmentation, Thermocapillary Extraction and Agglomeration of Ultradispersed Inclusions of Noble Metals in Laser Processing

    Get PDF
Thermal-physics and hydrodynamic processes are analyzed that appear in laser processing in mineral raw materials and technogenic products with ultradispersed inclusions of noble metals. It is established that laser processing of these materials is accompanied by the processes of defragmentation, thermocapil-lary extraction, and agglomeration of micro- and nano inclusions of noble metals. Kinetic Characteristics, Phase and Structural Changes in Electrical Materials and Devices

    Get PDF
Electron-microscopic and X-ray studies have revealed that the ability of lead-acid storage batteries to adopt charge due to physico-chemical processes occurring in the lead paste and on the border of the β€œshunt-paste” depends dramatically on both the initial moisture content in the lead paste and keeping enhanced humidity in the exposure chamber for plates. Atomic Force Analysis of Elastic Deformations of CD

    Get PDF
The procedure for the determination of elastic parameters according to reference nanometer lithographic marks by atomic force microscopy on samples with up to microscopic sizes is proposed. Analysis of dynamic changes of elastic characteristics that makes it possible to establish the critical rotation velocity of a CD without plastic deformations has been made. Mechanisms of Microwave Absorption in Carbon Compounds from Shungite

    Get PDF
According to SEM, X-ray phase analysis, Raman scattering data features of nanostructural changes in shungite carbon structure were found when processing shungite in 52 % hydrofluoric acid. It is found that conductivity increases up to the values of electrical graphite and absorption of microwave radiation also increases at frequencies up to 40 GHz, which, along with dielectric losses, is due to intense processes of both scattering at laminar carbon structures and absorption of electromagnetic energy.
