Possibility of Dynamic Penetrometer Use in Clayey Sandy Soil on Railway Route Zenica- Sarajevo

Application of dynamic penetration is not widely spread, considering the limited number of data that can be obtained. When а larger number of boreholes on terrains built of soft rocks is required, there exists economic justification for the use of certain dynamic tests that can give data about resistance and soil density. Also, in parts where the access is difficult or impossible for the machines for soil probing, penetrometer tests are only possible for obtaining certain parameters. Correlation between point of resistance and shear strength can obtain data of undrained firmness shear strengths for clayey soils, and based on the value of point of resistance the percentage of compaction of soil with quite real accuracy. The dynamic penetration test was applied along the route of the Zenica-Sarajevo railway. Since this is a rarely used type of research, the authors hope that this paper will serve to others as well, towards further research on better correlations between the two types of methods. It is necessary to make the method with penetration as applicable as possible, because it can be used in very inaccessible places with many more test points and does not require large financial investments

First two paramount problems of the world are food security and energy. Permaculture isa new interdisciplinary branch of the science, which has positive synergistic effects and solves bothproblems, including environmental care. The paper analyzed the holistic principles of permaculturedesign and possible application in the flats, gardens in the suburbs and/or in the countryside, the urbanland, fields and plots, on rural estates and cottages, in commercial and industrial applications, as well asin educational institutions and in the abandoned land. Permaculture as a set of knowledge aboutdesigning sustainable human communities, is a connection of the old traditional techniques, enrichedwith new knowledge and technologies in the field of architecture, construction, agriculture and forestry, chemistry, biology, sociology, urban planning, ecology, economy, energy, water and wastemanagement. Permaculture research answers on how to simultaneously grow food, build energyefficient dwellings and improve the functionality of urban communities while preserving theenvironment. Model of positive examples from international smart practice are presented

Objectives: The aim of this study is to determine the connection of gross motor skills (locomotor skills and object control) and the degree of associated intellectual disability (ID) in children with cerebral palsy (CP). Participants and methods: The study sample included 54 children with CP and associated ID age 5 years to 6 years and 11 months. For the assessment of tested skills, The Gross Motor Function Classification System-Expanded and Revised (GMFCS-E&R), Wechsler Preschool and Primary Scale of Intelligence-Fourth Edition (WPPSI-IV) and Test of Gross Motor Development Second Edition (TGMD-2) were used. Results: The results of this study indicate better quality of locomotor skills than object control skills in children with CP and associated ID. Children with CP and mild ID have better quality of locomotor skills and object control, than children with CP and moderate ID. Differences between these two groups of children are presented relative to GMFCS-E&R levels. Conclusion: This study has determined significant interconnection of the quality of gross motor functions and intellectual capacity in preschool children with CP. This should be considered when creating more detailed individual developmental rehabilitation plan in children with CP and associated ID and predict adequate measures of developmental stimulation. This is the peer‐reviewed version of the article: Djuric-Zdravkovic, A.; Perovic, D.; Milanovic-Dobrota, B.; Japundza-Milisavljevic, M.
