    The aim of this research is to analyze the sustainability status by measuring sustainability index of Kabupaten Lima Puluh Kota area in five dimensions of sustainability. The research methods was Multidimensional Scaling (MDS) that called Rap-BANGKAPET. Rap-BANGKAPET supported with Leverage and Monte Carlo analysis to determine attributes that affects the index and status of sustainability. Sustainability analysis resulted ecological dimension was less sustained (46.50%), economical dimension was sustained (69.53%), social and cultural dimension was sustained enough (55.14%), infrastructure and technology dimension was less sustained (45.48%), legal and institutional dimension less sustained (47.46%). From 73 attributes which analysed, only 24 attributes will need to settle immediately because could affects sustainability index sensitively, proven with minimum error at 95% confidence level. Prospective analysis is needed to build scenarios to increase sustainability index and sustainability status in future. There is progressive-optimistic scenarios with overall improvement at sensitive attributes could increase sustainability status of area

    Banana peel can be used as an alternative feed based on the potential availability and nutritional. The experiments were conducted to improve the nutrient quality of Banana Peel and Tofu Waste mixture (BPTW) by using Phanerochaete chrysosporium and Neurospora crassa. This substrate consists of banana peel 70% and tofu waste 30%. The experiment was performed in 3 treatment completely randomized design (CRD) with 6 replicates. The treatments were : A= fermentation BPTW by Phanerochaete chrysosporium and Neurospora crassa (1:1), B = fermentation BPTW by Phanerochaete chrysosporium and Neurospora crassa (2:1), and C = fermentation BPTW by Phanerochaete chrysosporium and Neurospora crassa (1:2). Measured variables were Crude Fiber (CF), Crude Protein (CP), Nitrogen Retention and CF digestion. The result of the research showed that the treatment affected significantly (p<0.01) reduced CF and increased CP, nitrogen retention and CF digestion.     Penggunaan Ampas Sagu Ampas Tahu Fermentasi dengan Monascus purpureus dalam Ransum Terhadap Performa Puyuh Petelur

    The aim of this research is to know the effect of utilization of combination sago rotb waste and tofu waste fermented by Monascus purpureus in egg quail (Coturnix-coturnix japonica) ration on their egg performance. About 200 quails were used in completely randomized design with 4 treatments (0.5%; 10% and 15%) of different level of combination sago rotb waste and tofu waste fermented in ration, and each treatment are replicated for 5 times. Ration are arranged iso protein (20%) and iso calory (2,800 kcal/kg). The parameters are: egg production, egg weigth and body weight. The result showed that the utilization of combination of sago rotb and tofu waste fermented by Monascus purpureus was not affected egg quail performance significantly (P>0.05). Inconclusion, the utilization of combination sago rotb waste and tofu waste fermented by Monascus purpureus until 15% in quail ration increased egg production with quail day scoring 80%, egg weight is 9.70 g/egg, and body weight is 56.12 g/quail

    Performa Puyuh (Coturnix coturnix japonica) yang Disuplementasi Susu Bubuk Kadaluarsa pada Tingkat Protein Berbeda

    Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui performa puyuh (Coturnix coturnix japonica) yang suplementasi susu bubuk kadaluarsa pada tingkat protein berbeda terhadap performa puyuh. Puyuh yang digunakan yaitu puyuh betina petelur (Coturnix coturnix japonica) periode pertumbuhan umur 21 hari sebanyak 240 ekor. Penelitian menggunakan metode Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) pola faktorial 2x3 dengan 4 ulangan, setiap ulangan terdiri dari 10 ekor puyuh petelur. Penelitian terdiri dari dua faktor yaitu level kebutuhan protein (20% dan 18%) sebagai faktor pertama dan suplementasi susu bubuk kadaluarsa (0%; 0,25%; 0,50%) sebagai faktor kedua. Peubah yang diamati yaitu konsumsi ransum (g/ekor/hari), pertambahan bobot badan (g/ekor/hari), konversi ransum, dan umur pertama bertelur. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan ANOVA, jika berbeda nyata diuji lanjut dengan DMRT. Hasil anasisis ragam menunjukkan bahwa suplementasi susu bubuk kadaluarsa dalam ransum berpengaruh tidak nyata (P>0,05) terhadap konsumsi ransum, pertambahan bobot badan, konversi ransum, dan umur pertama bertelur. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pada level protein 18% dengan penambahan susu bubuk kadaluarsa sebanyak 0,50% dalam ransum puyuh periode pertumbuhan mampu mempertahankan performa puyuh dengan nilai konsumsi ransum 12,64 g/ekor/hari, pertambahan bobot badan 2,65 g/ekor/hari, konversi ransum 5,23, dan umur pertama bertelur 48 hari
