    Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui pelaksanaan pendekatan SSI (socio-scientifictissues) pada mahasiswa baru angkatan 2015 Jurusan Pendidikan Fisika Fakultas Tarbiyahdan Keguruan Universitas Islam Negeri Alauddin Makassar, mengetahui kemampuanberpikir kritis mahasiswa baru angkatan 2015 Jurusan Pendidikan Fisika Fakultas Tarbiyahdan Keguruan Universitas Islam Negeri Alauddin Makassar dan mengetahui perbedaankemampuan berpikir kritis sebelum dan setelah penerapan pendekatan SSI (socio-scientifictissues) dengan menggunakan media power point mahasiswa baru angkatan 2015 JurusanPendidikan Fisika Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Keguruan Universitas Islam Negeri AlauddinMakassar. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian pra eksperimen dan instrumendalam penelitian dengan tes essay dan observasi langsung. Menggunakan analisis deskriptifdan analisis inferensial. Hasil kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa diperoleh H1 diterimakarena thitung>ttabel atau 11,28>2,00. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat peningkatanyang tidak signifikan terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis setelah penerapan pendekatan SSI(Socio-Scientifict Issues) pada mahasiswa baru angkatan 2015 Jurusan Pendidikan FisikaFakultas tarbiyah dan Keguruan Universitas Islam Negeri Alauddin Makassa

    The presence of management education in the world of education has attracted many people's attention to the world of education, as happened in the new academic year 2015 the number of applicants of students reaching the number of approximately 8000 an applicant candidate for new students in UIN ALAUDDIN Makassar as well as management enthusiasts the existing education at UIN Alauddin Makassar University experienced a significant increase of registrants especially in the Department of Management education. Although not all of the applicants can be admitted to the majors chosen by new students, this can not dampen the enthusiasm of new students to enter UIN Alauddin University's lecture in Makassar especially in the Department of Education Management. Thus attract the attention of authors to study about Factors Affecting Students Choosing Islamic Education Management Study Program at the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher UIN Alauddin Makassar Academic Year 2015/216.     This study aims to study the level of student satisfaction in terms of the ability of lecturers and learning facilities in the Department of Islamic Education Management of the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training UIN Alauddin Makassar. This research is a quantitative descriptive with employing survey model. The population in the research was 243 people with 24 sample. The data were collected using a questionnaire with Likert Scale. The results showed that the satisfaction of MPI students in terms of lecturer performance was satisfactory category, based on four indicators: learning planning in the satisfactory category, the implementation of learning was very satisfying category, learning outcomes was quite satisfactory category, and guidance and direction was unsatisfactory category. MPI Study Program student satisfaction in terms of Learning facilities in the category was quite decisive, based on four indicators: lecture rooms according to the category are quite satisfactory, chairs and desks are less satisfactory, blackboards/blackboards were quite satisfactory, and learning media were quite satisfactory
