A SIMPLE LINEAR TEST OF THE INTEGRATION IN CORPORATE BOND MARKETS
The purpose of this article is to identify the key elements of market determinants of bond yield and the external borrowing environment. A reasonably integrated bond market is safer for both investors as well as issuers. It assesses the robustness of integration in corporate bond yields. Research method applied in this particular study includes the overview of theoretical concepts, literature review and analysis of secondary yield data. The results revealed significant differences between the sensitivity of coupon bonds and zero coupon bonds. It demonstrated stronger relationship between bond yield, money markets and external credit markets, respectively. Modern bond portfolios can be constructed focusing on factors beyond coupon rates, duration and credit rating, respectively. The outcome or further research could focus on examining alternate anchors against secured overnight short term financing rates
Different Fitness Attributes of Adolescent Badminton and Volleyball Players - A Comparative Study
The purpose of the study was to compare the physical fitness variable of Badminton and volleyball male Players. To fulfill the objective of the study, (15 Badminton male players and 15 volleyball male players) subjects were selected from south 24 parganas District of West Bengal State who was attending district level competition. The data were collected in different clubs. The age of the selected subjects ranged from 15 to 18 years. (Pull ups, sit ups, 4*10m shuttle run, 50m run, 600m run) were used to measures the selected physical fitness variables of the players. In order to analyze the data t-test was used to analyze the data and investigator observed the significant different between Badminton and Volleyball Players of muscular strength, muscular endurance, speed, cardio- vascular endurance and significant different of agilit
On the coalition number of trees
Let be a graph with vertex set and of order , and let
and be the minimum and maximum degree of ,
respectively. Two disjoint sets form a coalition in
if none of them is a dominating set of but their union is. A
vertex partition of is a coalition partition of
if every set is either a dominating set of with the
cardinality , or is not a dominating set but for some ,
and form a coalition. The maximum cardinality of a coalition
partition of is the coalition number of . Given a
coalition partition of , a coalition graph
\CG(G, \Psi) is associated on such that there is a one-to-one
correspondence between its vertices and the members of , where two
vertices of \CG(G, \Psi) are adjacent if and only if the corresponding sets
form a coalition in . In this paper, we partially solve one of the open
problems posed in Haynes et al. \cite{coal0} and we solve two open problems
posed by Haynes et al. \cite{coal1}. We characterize all graphs with
and , and we characterize all trees
with . We determine the number of coalition graphs that can
be defined by all coalition partitions of a given path. Furthermore, we show
that there is no universal coalition path, a path whose coalition partitions
defines all possible coalition graphs
Thermodynamics of the oxidation of ZrB2-TiB2, ZrB2-SiC and ZrB2-B4C ceramics
The thermodynamics of the oxidation of three-high temperature ZrB2-based ceramics (ZrB2-TiB2, ZrB2-SiC and ZrB2-B4C) has been studied in order to find the stability domain of zirconium diboride, in terms of temperature, partial pressure of oxygen and composition, in which it is protected against oxidation. In the case of the ZrB2-TiB2 binary system, a plot of log pO2vs. 1/T in the temperature range of 500-2000 K and another plot of pO2 (x1014) vs.xTiB2 for T=2000 K are made taking into account the two-extreme possibilities of no solubility and 100% solid solubility between ZrB2 and TiB2, respectively. A plot of log pCOvs. log pO2 is made for 1773 K for the systems ZrB2-SiC and ZrB2-B4C. It was found that the ZrB2-TiB2 ceramics does not have sufficient oxidation resistance in the temperature range of 500-2000 K. ZrB2 of ZrB2-SiC ceramics can be protected under 1 atmosphere oxygen or in air if the liquid borosilicate (with the chosen composition, 70% B2O3-30% SiO2), which is an intermediate product, provides a kinetic barrier to the continuation of oxidation by forming an impervious layer on the exposed surfaces. In contrast, the ZrB2-B4C ceramics does not produce the borosilicate upon oxidation. In view of the volatility of pure liquid B2O3, it is recommended that the ZrB2-B4C ceramics can be used at a lower temperature, perhaps below 1373 K, when the vapour pressure of B2O3 is significantly small
Protein evolution: intrinsic preferences in peptide bond formation: a computational and experimental analysis
Two possibilities exist for the evolution of individual enzymes/proteins from a milieu of amino acids, one based on preference and selectivity and the other on the basis of random events. Logic is overwhelmingly in favour of the former. By protein data base analysis and experiments, we have provided data to show the manifestation of two types of preferences, namely, the choice of the neighbour and its acceptance from the amino end (left) or the carboxyl end (right). The study tends to show that if the 20 proteinous amino acids were made to combine in water, the resulting profile would be nonrandom. Such selectivity could be a factor in protein evolution
Cops and robber on subclasses of -free graphs
The game of cops and robber is a turn based vertex pursuit game played on a
connected graph between a team of cops and a single robber. The cops and the
robber move alternately along the edges of the graph. We say the team of cops
win the game if a cop and the robber are at the same vertex of the graph. The
minimum number of cops required to win in each component of a graph is called
the cop number of the graph. Sivaraman [Discrete Math. 342(2019), pp.
2306-2307] conjectured that for every , the cop number of a connected
-free graph is at most , where denotes a path on ~vertices.
Turcotte [Discrete Math. 345 (2022), pp. 112660] showed that the cop number of
any -free graph is at most , which was earlier conjectured by
Sivaraman and Testa. Note that if a connected graph is -free, then it is
also -free. Liu showed that the cop number of a connected (,
)-free graph is at most , where is a cycle of length at most or
a claw. So the conjecture of Sivaraman is true for (, )-free graphs,
where is a cycle of length at most or a claw. In this paper, we show
that the cop number of a connected ()-free graph is at most , where

INFORMATION CONTENT OF STOCKS IN CALL AUCTION OF SHORTER DURATION IN EMERGING MARKET
Pre-open auctions have been widely implemented across trading exchanges. Pre-open auctions tend to reduce information asymmetry and trading risks. Call auctions have been encouraged to enhance price discovery. This paper explores the shifts in information content of the pre-market auction session over time. We derive that the information content of the pre opening auction did improve little after a gap of two months. We conclude that the intraday 15 minutes realized volatility was influenced by information content in the pre-market. We demonstrate that volatility is the cause of order imbalance or a cause of poor information content. The investigation of the related volatility in the futures segment provides interesting insights on the unusual pre-market imbalances visualized on days close to expiry of futures
An Augmented Taylor rule for India’s Monetary Policy: Does Governor Regime Matters?
This paper examined the monetary policy stance in India during the governors’ regime of Jalan- Reddy-Subbarao- Rajan. An Augmented Taylor Rule is employed to estimate monetary policy response for each period using monthly data. The results revealed that the governor regime matters in the monetary policy response. When output gap has been an important concern during Jalan, Subbarao and Rajan’s period, inflation remained a major concern for Reddy and Rajan’s regime. Interestingly, the interest rate is highly responsive to changes in exchange rate during Rajan period. These findings are consistent with the conditions of economy during those periods. In addition, the exchange rate and output gap remained a greater concern for policy maker in post-crisis period. Nevertheless, we find policy inertia during all regimes
The crafting of uracils with enhanced stacking potential
Uracils having enhanced stacking profile are of interest from diverse vantages ranging from the chemical simulation of transcription to the design of novel anti viral agents. This objective has been realized by synthetic strategies leading to uracils having, inter alia, pseudo aromatic and hydrophobic rings crafted to the 5-6 location and ionophore and hydrophobic chains affixed at the C-5 and nitrogen atoms. Endeavours to prepare a 5-2' uracil-pyrimidine composite have led to novel uracil arising from 2-O → =CH(COOR)2 transformation and a tethered malonic acid pyrimidine complex
